Styling Products -Garnier - Fructis Sleek and Shine Weightless Anti-Frizz Serum

Wow, definitely one of the best serum out there! It's really light so you don't get that "too much grease" feeling in your hair, even if you happen to accidentally pump too much in your hands! It smoothed out all my frizz and it's a great heat protectant too! Of course, and the price is right!

Finally! A Garnier Fructis product that doesn't coat my hair! This is an excellent drugstore deep conditioner. It gives me tons of moisture and shine. The narror jar opening is a bit of a draw back, but I do like being able to scoop that thick stuff out.
Again, I really wanted to like this cos I love the fruity smell! Unfortunately, like it's shampoo counterpart, it left my hair feeling coated after a few uses. Plus the little tab on the flip cap broke shortly after. Grrr...
Shampoo -Garnier - Fructis Shampoo - Dry & Damaged

I love the fruity smell of this, but it left my hair feeling a bit coated after several use. Too bad though, cos I really like the smell!
Thanks to Vanity68 for a generous sample of this. It is a very gentle shampoo indeed! It's removes excess oil without depriving your hair of moisture. It doesn't suds up like most shampoo but it does lather well. It's perfect on dry winter weather like this!
Bleh! Yuck! Gross! Worse conditioner, ever!
Treatments -Redken - Extreme Anti Snap [REFORMULATED]

One of my favorite protein leave-in treatment! I've been using this for several years now and my hair is still in love with it. It helps to reduce breakage and strengthen your hair at the same time. It smells great and does not interfere with other styling products.
Conditioner -Bumble & Bumble - Super Rich Conditioner

Meh, nothing special, especially considering the price tag. (Thanks Lanae87!) It does a decent job of moisturizing my hair, but I'm not fond of the smell. Can't really describe it, not exactly that "wet dog" smell either. Save your money.
Conditioner -Unlisted Brand - Auntie Rhubarb Conditioning Gloss

Thanks to Lanae87 for sending me a generous sample of this. It's highly-scented and it really lingers in your hair. Gave my hair lots of shine too. I took one lippie off cos it wasn't moisturizing enough. I think a drop or two of castor oil may do the trick!
This is probably the most gentle shampoo from Redken. It contains TEA-Lauryl Sulfate, which is one of the most gentle sulfate used in shampoo. It doesn't produce a lot of suds because excessive can strip hair of it's natural oil. Contrary to what consumer thinks, too much suds is not a good thing. Lots of shampoo contains Sodium Lauryl Sulfate or Sodium Laureth Sulfate, that's why they lather so well. This shampoo does a great job of removing the excess oil but not strip my hair of moisture. It's a definite repurchase!

I thought a more gentle percentage of BP would be better for my skin. I'm sure it's better for my skin since it's not as drying as 10%, but it did nothing for my zit. I was better off letting it heal naturally. Might work better in harsh & dry winter air, but I'm not willing to spend $5 to try it now.
Moisturizers -Neutrogena - Combination Skin Moisture Oil Free
snafuish 1/12/2005 5:10:00 PM
This is a great summer moisturizer for my combination skin. It sinks in quickly and adds moisture only to areas that my skin needs. I switch off in the winter cos I need something more moisturizing. I wish it has a SPF built-in though.

I use this on a daily basis in the summer as a preventative treatment on my T-zone. It does help somewhat, but I still break out every once in a while. I tend to only use this once a day in the winter and it's not so drying where it'll irritate my skin and cause it to go nuts. It does have a bit of a tingle to it if there's already a zit there.
This is a great cleanser for my combination skin in the summer months. It's very foamy and does a great job of clearing the excess oil off my skin. It's too drying for winter use though. A little goes a long way. A bottle lasts me 2 summers.

I have a bit of hereditary dark circles that I was hoping this will help lighten up. I didn't really notice a difference after 2 months of continuous use. It's a good basic moisturizer and it does not interfere with my concealer. I also didn't see any new or intensed wrinkles around my eyes either. But for it's advertised used to reduce dark cirles, it failed miserably. I will not purchase this again.
