This product is similar to Tarte LipSurgence Natural Lip stain. However, its less than half the price! It glides on easily like a cross between a gloss and a lipstick. Plus. when the gloss settles, the lipstain remains in place for hours. For me, the product is very similar in color to my natural lip. For this reason, I need to apply a fair amount of product for it to show up. Additionally,on my skin tone it does not change to a bright pink (as many have mentioned). Rather, it remains a natural sheer pink that lasts for quite some time. For reference, I have reddish-blonde hair, blue eyes, and fair skin. I also love that it simplifies the processes of applying a lipstick. It does not bleed and the point of the "crayon" makes it easy to define your lips without the need for a lip liner.

Eyeliner -Physicians Formula - Shimmer Strips Gel Creamliner (all)

I purchased the Blue Eyes Gel Cream Eyeliner and just love, love, love it (every single color in the trio-blue, black, & brown)! Its far easier to apply than any liquid liner and it stays put. I must admit, it did take some experimenting in best methods of application (but that's all technique of application and finding the best brush that works for you). So, give yourself some time to experiment. What's even better. I have sensitive eyes and could not tolerate certain liners. My eyes would tear so badly that I could tear away my shadow and the liner. However, my eyes take to this liner just fine! No tearing, no redness, no problems whatsoever! I have to admit that I've payed far more for liners that were not as easy to apply and didn't have half the staying power. Goodbye liquid liners! Goodbye eyeliner pencils and HELLO Shimmer Strips Gel CreamLiner by Physicians Formula!

Eye Shadow -Maybelline - eyestudio

I've waited about two weeks before giving a review of this product to ensure that I wasn't prematurely providing an opinion that would change after further use\inspection. I purchased the purple icon quad of the Maybelline Eyestudio product and I have to say that I love it! I used in sparingly during the day without the need for any eye shadow base and it looks wonderful. The shadow is a powder that glides like a cream and provides great staying power. I quickly dismissed the applicator provided and used my own makeup brushes for application. The silver was applied to my eyelid and the deepest shade of purple was applied to the outer crease of my eye to provide definition\contrast. I used the lighter shades to naturally blend away from the darker shade. I also reuse the silver at the arches of the brow. The color provides shimmer without looking too glittery. If applying with an eye shadow base, the glitter does become more pronounced, which is fine for evening makeup but would definitely be over doing it during the day. If you are looking for a shadow that has a shimmer to it and applies easily without the aide of a base, this is for you! Just use professional makeup brushes and apply sparingly for a great daytime look!

Lip Treatments -Peter Thomas Roth - Un-Wrinkle Lip

I have to start off stating that I did not purchase this product to reduce fine lines or wrinkles on my lips. Rather, I wanted a more intense moisturizer for my lips so that they would not fall victim to the usual dry, peeling, flaking, and worse yet split lips that can come along with the New York winters. In this respect the product performed amazingly well. PTR Un-wrinkle lip will leave your lips with a tingling sensation and has a hint of mint to it, as well. However, the tingling does subside fairly quickly. A bonus for me is that it also sloughs off dead skin. Thus, the nasty look and feel of chapped lips is eliminated and you are left with healthy & well moisturized lips. I agree with another reviewer that the price for this lip product is steep. However, I only use it 1x a day. So, the 1 pump goes along way. As a busy working mother, I have grown frustrated with products that I have to apply and reapply over and over again just to maintain healthy lips. I simply do not have the time or the patience for it. In that respect, PTR Un-wrinkle lip delivers much needed moisture throughout the day with only one application. The pump makes for hygienic application of the product and helps with product portion control.

I suffer from rosacea that is relatively under control. However, I have been left with some broken capillaries from horrific outbreaks of the past. I have also had laser treatments to eliminate the red appearance that broken capillaries leave on ones face. However, I still have some left over on my nose and my chin. Additionally, after washing my face, my cheeks will naturally appear pink. The DDF Nutrient K Plus product has significantly reduced the appearance of the broken capillaries and helps to eliminate the minor redness that I experience on a day to day basis. I love this product because it has freed me from limiting myself to the heavy coverage foundations. I can now wear a tinted moisturizer and feel confident about walking out the door! Additionally, the product easily glides onto your skin and absorbs into it, nicely. It also does not cause problems when applying makeup over it. The pump is very hygienic and helps with controlling the amount of product used. One more bonus...it helps to moisturizes dry skin!

Winters in New York can leave my face with flaky, dry, peeling patches. Lately, my skin has seemed thirsting for moisture and a few dry spots were already settling in. I purchased this to use as an overnight moisturizer (after printing out the $3 off coupon from their website) with very little expectation that it would deliver. However, I was pleasantly surprised. The cream spreads nicely and sinks into the skin. It has a slight scent which was in no way offensive. The best part, when I woke in the morning my skin appeared well hydrated and soft to the touch! You got to love that!! I have been using this for a week so, I cannot speak for its ability to lift and firm the skin because RoC states on their website that it would take 8 weeks of use for facial features to appear lifted. I am also not exactly using this to reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, as I am using retinol products to achieve this goal. However, I can say that the texture of my skin has improved and my skin does seem slightly plumped while using this product. I also have sensitive skin and I have not experienced any adverse reactions. I will edit and update this review if anything changes. I took away a lippie because I don't believe that it actually lifts anything. I don't want anyone to be misguided in their purchases.

Eyeliner -Clinique - water-resistant eyeliner

I love love love this product. It's great for tightlining or just thinly lining your upper lid. It applies easily and stay put through out the day. I am fond of both the black (which is nicely muted) as well as the muted brown. This is definately a great product. If you are used to applying liquid or gel liners, this should be a cinch to use (as long as you have the right brush).

Powders -Clinique - Clinique Redness Solutions Instant Relief Mineral Powder

I have mild rosacea which is under control and my skin lwill usually appear even toned unless I have a glass of wine or take a really hot shower (which I take every morning). After this, my cheeks turn a little pink. This product does assist in camouflaging my pink cheeks and reducing the red appearance of any mild broken capillaries. I do agree with the freelance makeup artist, it is much more effective pressed onto the face than buffed on as a powder. While the powder is yellow in color, my skin does not appear yellow after applying this product. All this being said, I know that people who suffer from rosacea can have their ups and downs with red skin as well as serious outbreaks. While I have not had an outbreak in a long time, I can still remember my experiences with them. For thoes of you who struggles with this skin issue, during an outbreak or even aftewards, this product will not do be of any assistance to you. This Redness Solutions Instant Mineral Powder is average in its ability to mildly reduce the appearance of slightly reddened skin. I will say that I have not experienced any adverse skin reactions to using this product and my skin tends to be sensitive.

Lip Gloss -Clinique - Glosswear for lips - Intense Sparkle - Cosmic Pink

I like the color of this gloss. Its sheer and gives you a polished day look especially if you are going out the door with minimal makeup. While this gloss tends to be sticky (definately not a winter gloss-wind blows and your hair gets stuck to your mouth), the stickiness is not the deal breaker. For me, the smell is a turn off. It does smell rather like plastic (as indicated by another reviewer). For this reason, I like the smashbox lip enhancing gloss better.

Concealers -Smashbox - Photo Op Under Eye Brightener

I think that this product is marketed incorrectly. Its really more of a highlighter than a concealer or eye brightener. The reason being...this product does not conceal anything nor does it have any real staying power as an under eye brightener. However, it is shimmering and very light reflecting. This makes it a decent highlighter. It works well above the widows peak of the lips (as a highlighter) and even lightly blended above the cheekbone.

The Intelligence hand cream does provide decent moisture. However, I wouldn't say that the moisture is lasting (especially during the winter-the true test of a hand cream is its ability to deliver consistent moisture during the driest and most demanding time of the year for hand cream). I wouldn't say that its as good as any hand cream found in a drug store (or walmart) because there are some really ineffective hand creams available to the consumer. However, I would say that for the price point, it should deliver more moisture.

This under eye cream goes on smoothly but definately has a sting to it. It does minimally help to reduce the appearance of fine line and wrinkles. However, it does nothing to assist in reducing puffiness or minimize the appearance of dark circles under the eye. I have pale sensative skin and I was able to tolerate using this cream every other night without any adverese effects.

This is really a fabulous highlighter that give your face a glowing appearance rather than a glittery look. I use it to highlight above my cheeks, the bridge of my nose and just above my lip. The packaging is great and you are given a large amount of product. I will say that this is a tad expensive for a drugstore cosmetic. Nonetheless, I would repurchase during a sale.

Eye Shadow -Revlon - Illuminance Creme Shadow

While the colors are beautiful, these cream eyeshadows are not easy to apply. Blending them to provide a fadeout from one color to the next is difficult, at best. Nonetheless, the most challenging part of using this eyeshadow is that it creases way too much and in a very short period of time. Even when applying an eyeshadow primer, this shadow will creases. I would not recommend purchasing this product if you would like your shadow to stay put without creasing of fading.

Lips -Sally Hansen - Lip Inflation Extreme

I bought this product based on the reviews provided and all I can say is THANK YOU!! This stuff is great! I got it for 50% off and discovered that its both pleasant smelling and tasting. Its flavor and smell is that of cinnamon which is refreshing rather than overbearing. Additionally, the gloss goes on with a tingle without being tacky ( I hate tacky gloss) or drying. Soon after application, my lips turned a pretty pinkish hue and began to look slightly pouty. This is perfect for daytime, as you look natural and believable. The plumping did fade after an hour. But the gloss still remained. I, too, like that fact that the product comes with a brush applicator rather than a wand!
