I got a very generous sample on facebook and was hooked. I think this a beautiful, comforting,fresh, empowering, sensual and all around amazing and new. and when I wear it I feel mellow, happy and energized as it lasts and makes me feel great, It's very balanced I've had so many compliments, Bought a full bottle and I'm addicted. I am floored at some of the low ratings

Conditioner -Pureology - Super Smooth Conditioner

HG. I've been using Pureology hydrating shampoo and conditioner for 6 months now and have transformed my shoulder length layered blond color treated hair into perfect health. Wanted to try this as I've been blow drying my hair more now that Calif summer is completely over. Got this on sale at JCP's today and my hair has NEVER looked or felt better. Best formula hands down. I'm on a budget lately but this is so worth it. Just a small amount, about a nickle size makes my hair like silk. tangle free, smooth and smells awesome. I'm in need of a trim but my hair looks like I stepped out of a salon.

Eye Shadow -New York Color - Metro Quartet-Union Square (818A)

This is the best drugstore eyeshadow I've used. So tired of spending almost department store prices for inferior products. So far I've used Union Square (Warm Brown palette). It's a sleek slim palette container with the most perfect duo ended applicator. Brush on one end and sponge on the other. I like that the applicator is so narrow, both ends less that 1/4 inch across. Makes it easy to apply color in the crease and also the inside corners with the highlighter. The colors are deeply pigmented, very blendable, not matte, but not overly shimmery. More smooth and pearly. Doesn't accentuate fine lines. Comes with an all over lid color that is a warm golden brown, a medium chocolate crease color and a deep chocolate contour color that is great smudged under the lower lashes. The highlighter is an ivory tone with a very very slight golden sheen. I also like the clear plastic protector that's color labeled, keeps the whole product neat and clean. I've had this on for 6 hours today and so far no creasing or fading. Really makes my blue eyes pop.Going to go out and get some more. Awesome product for 3.99 here in South OC Ca

Mascara -Neutrogena - Lash Tint [DISCONTINUED]

I'm loving this. My eyelashes are dark blond, medium length and medium thickness. My eyes are also very sensitive and easily irritated. This mascara makes my lashes look naturally darker, slightly longer and thicker. real but better. I use this after I use an eyelash curler. I do find that I have to run the brush through my lashes and really cover the undersides and tips. I actually use 2 coats although it says one is enough. The curl stays in my lashes too. My eyes feel cleaner with this. I like that it is easily washed off, doesn't flake or smear during the day. I also like to wear it after I've removed my makeup after work. i don't look so washed out. You can sleep with this mascara on and not wake up with smudged eyes. Since using this for a month my lashes look and feel healthier and less fallout and breakage My only complaint is I think the amount in the tube is not enough for the price, but it delivers so well I'll always buy more.

Mascara -Chanel - Mascara Exceptionnel

This mascara is why I use so many DS cosmetics. I got this in the mail as a sample and had high hopes. This mascara clumps, flakes and the brush is so oversized that I have scratched my eye while applying. Not happy with this at all. Spider lashes and racoon eyes by the end of the day.

Liquid -Physicians Formula - CoverToxTen50 Wrinkle Therapy Foundation

This is the WORST foundation ever! Found this at 40% off at Long's drugstore and thought I'd give it a try. My usual HG Revlon colorstay was out of my color. My skins been looking a little dry. Probably because of having to use my heater more than ever due to record cold temps in Southern Calif (35 at night!). ANYWAY when I attempted to squeeze out the product the tube split below the lame application brush. The coverage was minimal and I made the mistake of wearing it all day. My face was an oily mess by the end of the day and 3 days latter I have 5 huge cystic zits. Run away from this toxic product!

This is my HG lotion. NOTHING makes my skin softer, smoother and glowing. I like the smell too. Fresh and clean. LOVE IT. I'll never use anything else.

Polishes -Sally Hansen - Natural shine

I love this! I've been working on getting nice nails after my acrylics were removed a year ago. Been taking fish oil supplements, putting vitamin e oil on my nails twice daily and NO polish. I think the polish and the remover were making my nails dry and brittle.. They are now strong and actually almost over the tip of my fingers..never had that before. I've been missing having a shine on my nails and am afraid to buff..they are thin enough. i tried this Natural Shine and its my HG polish. Makes my nails look well groomed and buffed. Dries in a flash...no mess..no peeling. No need for polish remover. This stuff is awesome

Conditioner -Pantene - Pro-V Restoratives Time Renewal Conditioner

This product is my new HG! I have waist length blond hair that has been looking trashed lately. Long hair is old hair, and the time renewal claim interested me. Used this and my hair really does look restored. Its amazing! Shiny, smooth, and NO tangles. LOVE IT. I can actually wear my hair down today it looks so healthy. The product is thick, smells great. I like the light blue color. I think that it brings out highlights. You have got to try this!

Hair Color -Garnier - Nutrisse Permanent Creme Hair Color

I love this hair color. Its all I'll use. I was very light blond all my life but it started darkening a bit in my 30's. Since then I've used lightening kits with ok results, but felt my blond always looked a little flat. 3 years ago I used the Garnier color in Chamomile. Its a light blond and it's perfect! No brass or orange at all, just a natural very shiny, with multi dimensional sheen. The color lasts for a good 4 weeks, cover up gray and touch up is so easy. My hair is waist length and shows no sign of damage. I hope they never discontinue this color its my HG.

Misc Beauty Tools -Revlon - Expert Effect Eyelash Curler

This is the worst eyelash curler on the planet IT DOES NOTHING. Very difficult to get eyelashes over the stupid pad and very easy to jab yourself and scratch your retina. No curl whatsoever. Waste of 4 dollars.

Conditioner -Biosilk - Silk Therapy Conditioner

This is the WORST conditioner on the planet. First time I used it in the shower I could feel it matting up my hair as if I was using wax and glue. I couldn't run my fingers through it as I rinsed. Even wet it felt stiff and straw like. My hair is waist length and had to do a deep conditioner with another product and then apply coconut oil to undo the damage this crap did to my hair.

Ok..I'm supposed to be too old to like this fragrance, but I LOVE IT. (i'm over 45) After reading about the notes, sweet and vanillaly and fruity I was interested. Saw it at right aid for $10.00 off all fragrances and bought it unsniffed. Was I happy when I sprayed it on. It reminds me of Pink Sugar but better. Very complex frgrance with great blended top, middle and dry down notes. Unlike most here..I love the bottle too. Pretty bright pink with lime green crystals...gotta love it

Nails -Wet 'n' Wild - Ooh La La French Manicure Kit

This is a great product for under $4.00. The kit comes with a large amount of paint guides, that are reusable. The base coat is a smooth pretty natural pink with the tip color a nice white that covers well and both colors look natural, shiny and better than any other french manicure kit I've used. Looks like I had them done at a salon. With a top coat last a few days with easy touch ups with the white on the tips. One again Wet 'n' Wild puts out a great product at a very reasonable price.

Lotions/ Creams -Calgon - Marshmallow

LOVE THIS!!! gone through 2 tubes already. If you are into sweet comforting scents you will love this. It layers great with Pink Sugar and is very moisturizing with a lasting scent that isn't overpowering. My only complaint is its hard to find and when I have found it its displayed with no tester and only 4 or 5 tubes. The are not sealed so I'm sure they are opened in the store and tested by shoppers so its hard to tell if you're getting a full amount. I wish Calgon would have testers and use a safety seal on the lid. Other than that I love this. The body spray is great too.
