Eyeliner -Urban Decay - 24-7 Glide-On Eye Pencil in Zero

After hearing so many good reviews on this pencil, I finally gave in and bought one. I am so disappointed. The pencil was really pigmented and adhered well to the waterline, but that's all the good things I can say about it. The pencil lasted for under an hour on my waterline, so the waterproof claims are completely bogus. Wearing it on upper lashline, I noticed a lot of smudging onto my brow bone throughout the day. I tried different techniques to try and get it to stay where I put it, but no matter what I did, it still smudged. I will not be purchasing this again and would not recommend buying this. At all.
Eye Shadow -Rimmel - Rimmel Underground-Stir It Up Eyeshadow in No Way
smn93 7/21/2011 12:52:00 AM
This is my least favorite cream shadow. It's a really confusing product. When you open the package, there is a layer of powder shadow on top of the cream. However, the powder is low in pigment and nothing special. Under the powder lies the cream. Even if I use a primer and if I set it with powder, the cream creases in under an hour. It really disappoints me because the color selection is really beautiful.
Honestly, the only thing I like about these pencils is the wide selection of shades. These are pretty expensive for being a simple eyeliner pencil, and they are about the same quality as something 1/3 of the price. For me, these don't wear well on my bottom lashline or waterline. They drift in about an hour, and I find liner in the lines under my eyes. On my upper lashline, these smudge and fade quite easily. I won't be repurchasing unless I find a color in the line I can't find anywhere else.
Primer/ Corrector -Urban Decay - All Nighter Makeup Setting Spray
smn93 7/21/2011 12:32:00 AM
This really didn't do anything for me. I applied my makeup and let it set for about 5 minutes, then sprayed this on. I then proceeded with my daily routine. At the end of the day, my makeup looked exactly the same as any other day, like I hadn't used the spray. My skin still looked shiny, and my blush had faded. For the price, I expected a lot from this product, and I wasn't impressed at all.
I wanted to like this mascara, I really did. I received it as my 100 point prize from Sephora, and the first time I used it, I loved the way my lashes looked: thick and dark. However, when I went to take it off, I barely saw any black on the cotton pad. After washing my face, I could definitely feel a tacky residue on my lashes. I tested it several times, and used different make-up removers with it, and I always got the same results, with the majority of it remaining on my lashes. It's a shame because the mascara looks great, it's just too hard to take off.
Lip Gloss -Bare Escentuals - Buxom Lips Lip Gloss - ALL

I really like these glosses! When I first bought one, I was expecting a harsh burning sensation and a lot of pain. I was happily surprised that this not the case with these glosses. There is a slight tingling sensation the first few times you use it, then it remains a very cooling feeling that lasts for a little while after the gloss is rubbed off. As far as plumping, I didn't notice a difference in the size of my lips, and that disappointed me. However, as a gloss, it is wonderful! The color selection is quite large, and the gloss is very long wearing. I will definitely be buying more of these in the future.
Eyeliner -Maybelline - Line Stiletto liquid eyeliner

This is hands down my HG liquid liner. I've gone through 3 tubes of this, and haven't found anything better. It's wonderful: richly pigmented, long lasting, smudge-proof, and easy to apply. I really love that I can swipe it on and go, and know that it won't move until I remove it at night.
Blush -Revlon - ColorStay Mineral Blush in RoseBerry

Hate. This. Blush. There's absolutely no pigmentation to it, not at all. And for the $15 I spent on it, I expected way more. I tend to like products from Revlon, but this one was by far the most disappointing.
Eye Shadow -Sephora - Colorful Mono Eyeshadow - Aspen Summit (23)

I love this color - it's a gorgeous frosty sliver-white. It's super pigmented, and there's never any fallout when I apply it. I especially like it because it really brings out my dark brown eyes, to the point where they almost look black. Overall, I think this is a lovely color for someone who wants a pigmented, opaque shade of white to wear all over their lid, and who doesn't mind shimmer in their eyeshadow. I will definitely be repurchasing.
I adore this gloss! It goes on very easily and one swipe is all you need for a really pigmented, glossy look. The color is wonderful, it's a true orange, with no red tones. It has shimmer when in the tube, but it isn't noticeable on the lips. The only drawback of this gloss is its smell; it's a very artificial smelling, slightly vanilla or sugary scent. However, it isn't extremely overwhelming and fades after about 10 minutes. Overall, I love this gloss and I would recommend it to anyone who wants a bold, shimmer-free gloss.
Scrubs -Clinique - 7 Day Scrub Cream Rinse Off Formula
smn93 6/15/2011 11:31:00 PM
This scrub really hurts my face. It claims on the package to be gentle enough for daily use, but the sand-like particles are too abrasive for even once a month use. I don't have remotely sensitive skin, and this still irritates my face. In addition to that, it's very difficult to rinse off, and it definitely feels like there's a greasy film left after you finally are able to get it off. I would not recommend this to anyone.
Makeup Brushes -Ecotools - 6 Piece Eye Brush Set (5 brushes + case)
smn93 6/5/2011 4:29:00 PM
This is a great set! It's cheap and you get 5 wonderfully crafted brushes. All of them apply pigment really well, and because it comes with the case, it's great for travel. I would recommend this to everyone, but especially to people just getting into makeup because you get 5 basic brushes that help you create some gorgeous eye looks really easily.
Eyeliner -Tarte - EmphasEYES waterproof clay eye shadow & liner
smn93 5/28/2011 4:20:00 PM
I really like this! I have it in Black and it's super pigmented. I like the fact that I don't have to keep going over the line I've applied. It also wears really well on my waterline; it's the longest lasting eyeliner I've ever used. That being said, it's actually quite easy to remove with makeup remover. As far as using it as a shadow, it's hard to apply all over your lid smoothly if you use your fingers. However, if you use a cream shadow brush, it goes on super creamy and nice.
Eye Shadow -Bare Escentuals - Buxom Stay-There Eyeshadow in Saint Bernard
smn93 5/10/2011 6:32:00 PM
I am in love with this cream shadow! It's the only one I've tried that does not crease at all, which is something to be said with my oily eyelids. I love the color range, they're mostly bright but because it's a cream, you can easily sheer them out or build the color. My only complaint is the price, which is a bit steep, but you only use the tiniest amount to cover your lid, so one pot will last you a long time.
This is one of my all time favorite cream shadows. The color payoff is wonderful, and the product layers very easily. When I wear this with a base and set it, I experience no creasing at all, even with my extremely oily eyelids. I am definitely going to repurchase this again and again.
