Fragrances -Tom Ford - White Patchouli

Not one for me. I expected it to sit creamy and light, but no it screeched on my skin, I had to scrub it off. I like some softer patchouli's - but this one sadly (I like the bottle) doesn't agree with me at all and gave me the yuk effect. It reminds me of a heavy 80's fragrance, something like EL Cinnabar which is different, but has the same anti-chemistry. I'll stick to the delicious reg BO and voile de fleurs.

I bought this online thinking it was the BO and frantically looked on here etc for reviews comparing BO and VdF edt wondering if I'd made a big booboo. Actually I'm surpised, I like both but are definitely different. The VdF is a pungent blast of florals, it possesses an old school 30's charm (not old lady tho, no sireee) such as Fracas, Songes, and L'artisan's Tubereuse also comes to mind. It feels friendlier and more indulgent than those others to me. VdF dries down to what I hoped AG Songes would be, Songes has a headachy note which I cant bear after a while although on paper I love the chorus of flowers. VdF is a less intense version of that with a hint of the signature BO.

This is a spray and go, ie; uncomplicated I want to smell fresh scent. Thats it for me, nothing out of the ordinary but I'm happy with the overall fragrance as its on the soft powdery side with a nod of vanilla mixed with some minty fresh green tea'ish notes. A good upgrade from EA's Green Tea for me. Pleasant and unoffensive, but definitely not one of my chosen sexy or mysterious scents. Versense is similar to me, but is colder and lacks the pretty powdery quality of Green Jade. as with other omnias the bottle is bulky and ugly looking

wow I love this fragrance. Creamy, gently spicy, feminine, floral and powdery in a pretty not a musty way. the chocolate blends well, which is a good thing for me as I can't bear strong chocolate notes. Its an anytime, anywhere, any season scent for me and I'm so glad I discovered it albeit very late to the party. Reason I avoided all the Omnias was the ugly, cumbersome bottle design, what a shame for such great fragrances. I also have the Green jade which is equally nice and both easy to get at a good discount.

Fragrances -Bulgari - BLV II

I got this based on others reviews as I was craving a light skin scent for days when I cant decide what else to spray. I really dont go for fruity floral or aquatic numbers at all, so I was relieved that any fruits are very subtle. This is a difficult to describe scent for me as I cant define any particular notes to stand out. Its a perfect holiday scent to spray all over after a shower, or a hot day when I just want to smell fresh and pretty, but not perfumy. This is good if you don't want a big cloud of silage. My favourite aspect of BLV11 is the dry down, its an almost there but not entirely disappeared creamy, softly sweet end. I love it. knocked a lippy off because the bottle annoys me
