I have pitiful lashes - short and sparse. I bought this based on reviews here. I had looked at lash treatments but many are so expensive I didn't want to waste the money if they didn't work. Rapidlash is less expensive and really does work. I have used it nightly for about 4 weeks and have noticeably longer lashes. I have not seen a real thickening effect yet - but will keep on using it. If you are looking for a product that does help lashes and doesn't cost $100, give this one a try! I have been impressed with it!

Lipstick -Ulta - Rose gold Shimmer

I bought this during a sale - 2 products for 5 dollars so it was only $2.50! I am pleasantly surprised. I like the color - medium rose with a nice but not over the top gold shimmer. I applies smoothly and lasts quite well. The one thing I don't like is that it does have a "waxy" smell - it goes away after you apply but it does smell in the tube. Even at the regular price it is not a bad deal but Ulta puts their brand on sale a lot so you can get it really cheap. I liked this one enough that I went back and purchased two additional colors. Worth a try!

Since I have to try every new mascara I come across, I couldn't resist picking this up the other day. They have a display of the actual brush and it is a fairly soft brush - felt a little different from most brushes. This is advertised as a lengthening mascara and it does that very well. Does not clump even after several coats and stays on well. There is some thickening with it but not a whole lot. I have very short, sparse lashes and am looking for a lot of length - this did a good job very quickly. I took one lippie off because my lashes are slightly stiff - not near as bad as some mascaras can make them but a little. The color is a nice deep black. I would buy this again - please with the results.

Palettes -Cat Cosmetics - Hello Gorgeous

I agree with the reviewer's below that this palette is fantastic! The colors (which have already been described very well) are beautiful and usable. The eyeshadows apply easily and stay put - you can create many different looks from soft to dramatic depending on the combinations used. The blush is a lovely, very pigmented pink. This is my first item from Cat Cosmetics and I love it!

Eye Shadow -Laura Mercier - Eye Colour Duo in Bamboo

Bought this based on the reviews and am certainly pleased with it. The texture is very smooth and the color is buildable. Nice neutral bronze/taupe and ivory shades. It does not look like much in the pan but looks really good on! I would recommend trying this duo.

Mascara -Lancome - High Definicils

Another good mascara from Lancome. It has one of the flexible brushes that does a good job of getting each lash. The mascara formula is similar to the original Definicils - not too thick, not too watery. It lasts without flaking or smearing. Certainly worth trying!

Lipstick -L'Oreal - HIP Lipstick

I got this in the Heroic shade. It is a nice plum red color - goes on very smooth and last a long time. It is very moisturizing. I would try other colors in this formula. I got it on sale at Walgreens so the price was not bad either.

These colors look good with my brown eyes. The shimmer rose shade is a nice highlight shade. The chocolate brown shade is nice - but I do agree it is a little hard to blend. The colors a pretty pigmented and last a long time. I'm not sure I would buy these colors again but would purchase others from the line.

Mascara -Merle Norman - Luxiva Xtra Length Mascara

Great lengthening mascara! I have fairly short, puny lashes and this makes them very long. It thickens a little too. It wears really well without smudging or flaking. I have not used many Merle Norman products but would purchase this again for sure.

Great color. A pinky, light brown color - stay on well. It is on the sticky side but that makes it last longer. This is my first BB lipgloss and I really like it. Now, the price is very expensive. Even so, I probably will buy again.

Eye Shadow -Revlon - Vital Radiance

I purchased two of these new eyeshadow trios - Desert Dunes and Fresh Meadows. Both are very nice neutral brown/taupe colors. They also have two other trios which are in the pink/plum color family. The shadow goes on like silk, stays put without creasing and the color stays true. Very nice shadows. I gave only four lippies for two reasons: packaging is kind of cheap feeling/looking and the price is steep for a drugstore product. These shadows were around $13 at Wal Mart. I would probably repurchase despite the packaging/price since the shadow itself is really great. Wish they had a few more color selections.

Not a horrible product but not great either. I got modest length but nothing "extreme". It also clumped a little. Not worth it for the price - I won't get it again. There are drugstore brands that do better.

Great product. Goes on smoothly and does not clump. No flaking either. The black shade is a nice dark black. The brush really is unique and gets all the lashes. Everyone should give this a try.

I have this is Natural Neutral which is a good match for my skin tone - light olive. This foundation has done a good job of controlling the oilies so far. I still have a slight shine by the end of the day but it takes longer for it to appear and it is not as intense as it was. This is one of the better oil control formulas I have tried. I will be interested to see how it does during the hot humid summer but so far I'm really liking it.

This mascara does a agreat job of lengthening and adding some thickness. Both the primer and mascara go on smoothly. The double ended brush does take a bit of practice to use. I did take one lippie off because of very slight flaking by the end of the day but other than that (and it is very minor)this mascara is wonderful!
