I have been suffering from severely clogged skin for many years. The white heads would develop into acne and I have to be extremely cautious of the skin care and makeup I use, making sure that there are no ingredients that could potentially make the clogging worse. I have been using this product for a month now. I bought it after I saw Tanya Burr's review on YouTube. And I'm very happy that I did cos it has pretty much cleared up my skin at this point in time. I would apply a generous layer after moisturizer (sometimes without), day and night. I would also apply more layers to those specific inflamed spots to help them dry up faster. It might burn a little if you have broken skin though. But no major issues for me cos it gets my skin heal quicker than any other acne products I've used before. However, I did go through a purging phase of around 2 weeks where the white heads would come up to the surface of the skin. It also works pretty decent as a makeup primer. I would think that the bottle would only last me 2 months tops, which is the only downside cos its quite pricey for a drugstore product. But if you suffer from clogged and congested skin, I would highly recommend you to try this cos I'll continue to repurchase until the day it no longer works for my skin.

Powder -Elizabeth Arden - Pure Finish Mineral Makeup

I have been a liquid foundation girl all my life. The idea of using powder foundations makes me think of dry, cakey, flat and low staying power. The day came when I wanted to switch up my liquid foundation as I was breaking out badly. I've done a lot of research on this product and although I wanted a "healthier" alternative for my skin, I was skeptical to change to mineral make up because I needed coverage and even the Elizabeth Arden SA agrees with me. Nonetheless, I really wanted to see what was this new hype all about and I had her apply a layer on my skin (already with makeup) and I took a walk around the store while I waited for the product to settle in. When I look into the mirror 15 minutes later, I couldn't believe my eyes! My skin looks very pretty with a soft luminous glow, almost surreal. I thought it was the lighting creating the illusion and I had to walk to different mirrors to prove I wasn't seeing things! Indeed I wasn't. I went back to the SA and purchased 1 in 02 immediately. The next day, I applied it with my Everyday Minerals Flat Top Kabuki as I didn't want to invest on their brushes yet, and it still worked out great. The powder went on my skin like butter and leaves it looking like it's glowing from within. Coverage wise, it's light to medium at most, depending on how much you layer. I had to apply a tinted primer and concealer before I finish off with a layer of this in order to create the perfect finish. I love how it stays on and makes my skin look better throughout the day, and it doesn't dry out my skin or show flakiness like some oil control foundation does. With most foundations, I would dread looking myself in the mirror at the end of the day or touch up without looking blotchy and cakey. But this product looks as good and fresh as it did in the morning. And when I do touch up if I'm going out in the evening after work, it doesn't cake at all. I'm impressed! Oil control is decent. While I do have to blot 2 to 3 times a day with tissue, the makeup doesn't transfer much (this tells you something about it's staying power). Packaging is excellent, very fuss free and easy to use. Although it's a little steep price wise, you really are paying for superb quality. But if Elizabeth Arden could come up with a refill, that would be icing on the cake. I have been using it for a month now and I'm absolutely loving and enjoying the product. This doesn't make my breakout worse, and while giving my skin "room to breathe", it has improved a lot in the past month. I'm literally left with acne scars which I can cover up very easily. I'm very sure I'll be sticking with this for a long time.

Blush -Shu Uemura - Glow On M Pink 33E

This is my all time favourite, everyday go to blusher! I'm into my 3rd one, and I've already repurchased my backup. It's a soft, sweet baby pink colour, very easy to wear. Product stays on all day for me. What makes me like this more than the other drugstore or departmental brands is that the product itself is very soft. It makes it very easy for your brush to pick up colour, and the colour also goes on very soft on the skin. It is very buildable and hard to overdo. (You know how sometimes you accidentally applied your blush with a heavier hand and you end up with embarrassing overdone cheeks?) You'll have no such problems with this one, and the finish is a beautiful healthy glow!

Liquid -Ettusais - Flat Design Liquid AC Control Oil

I bought this because it is water-based Liquid Foundation and hence, non-comodogenic. I was previously using BB creams, Revlon Colorstay, Chanel Mat Lumiere, and my acne-prone skin has become severly clogged and aggravated over time. I've also tried mineral-make up but I didn't like the powdery finish and am back to hunting for a trusty Liquid Foundation. I am one week into my new purchase, and I find it best to apply on a well-moisturised face, with the sponge (that comes in the packaging) using a pat-down method for a flawless matte finish. It goes on light, so you'll have to layer on if you want more coverage. This has a very buildable light to medium coverage. Good thing is, you still get a very natural finish and it does not look cakey when layered. I also noticed that it oxidises into a prettier dewy look after the first hour. Although it hides redness extremely well, you definitely need a concealor if you want to cover those dark spots or blemishes. I like that with this on, my skin feels and looks breathable and natural. It doesn't clog my pores and with its ability to absorb excess sebum, I blot my face less often, and my makeup stays on longer. I feel that this product works just like how it was advertised. If you have troubled skin like me, this is definitely your daily go-to foundation!
