A great product to smooth flyaways, add shine to hair, and manage hair on humid days. Can be used before or after blowdrying. Much better than Kiehl's creme with silk groom because it's easier to manipulate.
This light eye lotion in a sanitary pump can be used on both eyelids and undereyes. It doesn't sting my sensitive skin, nor does it leave a filmy residue. It really absorbs into my skin and works well to moisturize the eye area. I've been using the product for a few weeks now, but I don't see much of a change in my undereye circles or a reduction in fine lines. It is a good moisturizing lotion for the price and works well underneath makeup.
Treatments -Burt's Bees - Lemon Butter Cuticle Cream

This cuticle cream works wonders for my cuticles and hangnails. This is one of my staples- it has a pleasant lemon scent and comes in a small travel-ready tin.
Concealers -Black Opal - Flawless Perfecting Concealer Stick

I've always had problems finding concealers for my undereye circles to match my C6 skin. After trying dermablend (left my skin looking ashy), prescriptives (too dark), and bobbie brown (too yellow and really settled and creased into my skin), I figured I'd try the black opal brand. The shade honey matches my skin tone perfectly and has never turned ashy. The problem is that like the bobbie brown concealer it tends to crease around my under eye circles if left on my skin for over a few hours (which is all the time!). The product can be a little stiff but I just rub it between my fingers first and them apply it gently. I've been using this concealer for ages because it matches my skin tone so well, but I'll gladly jump ship if there's a better product that doesn't crease.
Cleansers -Olay - Daily Facials Express - All Skin Types

When I first used the daily facials wipes, I didn't wash off the film that they left on my skin. I developed some blemishes from these wipes but they work well for removing loads of makeup followed by use of my everyday cleanser. On days that I don't wear makeup, I'll wash my face with water after using the daily facials to remove any leftover film. The clothes are very soft and feel much better against my skin than the ponds wipes. The ponds wipes, however, never caused any breakouts on my skin.
This looked wonderful on my C6 skin, which was a surprise since it's a peachy-brown color that I never would have expected to work well on me. The cream blush also lasts much longer than the Becca cream blush that I've tried. The reason I wouldn't use the blush again is that it left my skin with whiteheads. It's a great color if you don't have sensitive skin though.
A beautiful cream blush that is packaged in a travel ready brown rubber and steel case. The color is great and looks wonderful on my C6 skin tone, but it rubs off really quickly on my oily summer skin. It also caused some whiteheads on my skin both during the summer and even during the winter on my dry cheeks. Still searching for my perfect cream blush.
This really dried out my skin, caused irritation, and some breakouts. My skin was far from being "positively radiant" after using this. You have to really rub the pink shimmering crystally cleanser together in your hands before applying it to your face and wash it off really well, or else you'll end up with shiny pink specks/sparkles on your face from the cleanser. You're supposed to shake the product to mix the ingredients together, but who has the time to do this every morning?
I tried both Super Straight Shampoo and Conditioner on my long hair. Eventhough the line is targeted for color treated hair, this line works well on uncolored-colored hair like mine too. Pureology is a bit pricey for both the shampoo and the conditioner but it works fairly well and gave me shiny straighter hair. I did notice some buildup so this doesn't work for everyday use for me, but it's a wonderful product to use every now and again.
Styling Products -Alberto Vo5 - Vo5 Miracle Mist Heat Defense Style Spray

Love, love, love it. For the last few years, I've used the mist everytime I blow dry my hair. It works wonders in protecting the hair by making your hair silky and wonderfully soft. It's never left any kind of coating or unsightly residue in my black hair. A phenomenal product. The only negative aspect about this product is that it's difficult to travel with if you don't save the rubber grip that initially locks the spray.
An OK moisturizer and easy to apply under makeup but it was nothing special. It definitely didn't diminish the signs of fatigue as claimed on the Kiehl's website and it didn't do anything to lessen my dark circles. I used it both at night and during the day for several months. The product does sting the skin under my eyes slightly and would cause an occasional tiny breakout. Like with the other Kiehl's eye product that I've tried, this product just sits on top of your skin and never fully absorbs into it. When I put the product on at night, I'd have to wash off a filmy layer the next morning. I'd prefer a tube rather than the unsanitary canister that it comes in. Save your money and look for another cream.
Treatments (Eye) -Kiehls - Ultra Protection Moisturizing Eye Gel SPF 15
skinc 2/12/2007 6:52:00 PM
Loved that it had an SPF in it, since it's hard to find this in other eye treatments. Problem is that it left a greasy coating under my eyes for hours and it just did not absorb into my skin, which is very dry under my eyes. So not sure how moisturizing it was, since the gel just sat on top of my skin. It's really hard to apply a stick concealer over this product.
