Just got this juice yesterday without having smelled it from a sample before. It was a bit of a wildcard for me since I'm not that into amber. But the artificial saffron note made me curious. Well, this fragrance is strong, one spray lasts all day. The top is very aldehydic. Cant really say what it smells. However the drydown is a beutiful vanillic flower with LOADS of amber. Yes amber. And I must say that I actually like it. The mixture with the other ingridients makes it beutiful. No old lady here! I dont think of gold when i smell this, however the color gold comes in mind. Theres no saffron in sight but it's ok, it's good anyway. I'll be wearing this frag this winter with my cashmere sweaters in front of a fireplace.

I havent tried this perfume untill now, but I have been thinking about it for years but been put off by the reviews of it. The hysteria, the hype, the playdho... you know what I'm talking about right? I've been put off by it hearing it's a gourmand scent and I'm not a gourmand person. I like smoky vanillas, sofistication. Nothing sweet or loud. Well Ive been wearing this for two days and it has taken me on the loveliest little trip ever. This is no gourmand! This is a complex skin scent with a twist. I can't really figure out what it is I'm smelling. It starts like a meadow of grass and hay, a little pipe smoke and a dry vanilla lurking. When it dries down it folds open like a milky soft crescendo of almond, bit of smoke, vanilla (more prominent now) and mahogany with a shy cherrie in the background. This juice is addictive! I have been smelling myself all day, my boss wanted to know what I was doing, had to let him smell it and he was totally mesmerized. Dont care about the price I have to have this. It stays close like a whisper never to take over it's wearer. a scent to wear to bed, to dress up in. This is truly beautiful!

I have sniffed and whiffed this fragrance for over a year and I still dont know if i love it or if my "love" for it bases itself in the fact that Im not really sure what it is that Im smelling. ROSE! ofcourse! but... theres more. The top is citrusy, but I dont get mandarins. I get lime! And I dislike the smell of lime! the top is like a Margarita a bit heavy on the vodka with too many limes in it. thankfully this only last a couple of minutes. but Its the base... The base makes me go crazy! mesmerized! I get rose, I get amber, but there is somethig else. something... Like dirt, MALE SWEAT. Dark and mysterious. Sexy as hell! Not overpowering. It doesnt take hold of you, it lurks in the shadow of the rose never to reveal it's claws. You get an almost dangerous feel of it. And it lasts... Two days gone and I can still smell it deep down in my skin. This is an hypnotic potion. So profoundly feminine! so seductive. Fragile but thorny. I bet your friends and coworkers will stand a little closer when you wear this, smile a little more and chat a little longer. Perhaps it might be your sparkling wit and scintillating conversation, but I suspect it’s just Miss Stella working her magic. the first time i tried this fragrance was the first time I read Patrick Süskinds perfume: the story of a murderer. the experience cant be described! Now more than a year since this happened I have finally placed an order. Stella with her drunken lime top and wonderful true rose middle is on her way. But I bought her for her mysterious base.

I can't really say anything bad about this product. I have used it for about 6 months and I rarely wake up with clogged pores nowadays. My skin feels calm and the scent really soothes you if you're stressed. It has also reduced my sebum production so much that i wont have to use Aberela Tretionin anymore! It's pricy but it lasts long and it doesn't contaion any harmful ingridients just natural products. I like to combine this with philosophys time in a bottle. i use that in the day to get an overall good treatment for my skin. iam now in my third large jar of this stuff and im sure it will stick with me as long as i can see the effect. amazing!
