Okay so Hot Tamale is the second of the top two red box dyes I have found. I've seen some bad reviews about this but I think the bad reviews stem from people who are trying to dye their hair a bright red color over a color like dark brown or something. Anyways I've only used this once so far, I had wanted to try it forever but couldn't find it anywhere and then on a recent trip to San Diego I found it at Target! So I used it immediately when I got back. I love this color! And I had zero problems with it, the color was even all over for me but because I have been red for some months now I think that helps. The other color I use is Loreal Feria Copper Shimmer. I like this Garnier better because it smells better and conditions better. It leaves my hair feeling way better than the L'oreal stuff. I also used to use Garnier when I dyed my hair in high school (forget what colors, but always had good results!) This color also seemed to fade into a decent color for me, but I like the color the L'oreal Copper Shimmer fades to better. I will definitely buy this again to take a break from my other color. I recently had a photograph taken for my Sorority composite and my mom actually loved the color of my hair so much she ordered an entire package of the photographs!
I began coloring my hair red May 2010. Everyone loved me with red hair so I spent forever trying to find the best color. After dying my hair like 6 or 7 times since then, I think I've found the two best colors. Feria Copper Shimmer is one of them! It is exactly what I was looking for when I began coloring my hair red. I know everyone likes Ruby Rush but I think any red with a burgundy tint just looks cheap (sorry for those of you that think it's great!) I think that Copper Shimmer is a younger looking color (I feel like a lot of older women dye their hair that burgundy color) ANYWAYS besides my own opinion of LOVING this color... People compliment me ALL the time on my hair. The color seems to last just a little longer than other box red dyes I have used Even when this fades, the color it fades to is still very pretty. I last dyed my hair 6 weeks ago and I am still getting compliments. This is a BIG PLUS because maintaining red hair can be so damaging if you try to color your hair every 4 weeks. I have been waiting to re color until my roots look real dumb. So overall the color is what I love. The reason I gave this a 4 instead of a 5 is because I feel like this box dye is more damaging and less conditioning than others I have used. Until I shower a second time after coloring my hair is hard to style, dry, and just weird.
Cleansers -Cetaphil - Daily Facial Cleanser (Normal to Oily Skin)

Wow did I make a mistake! I'm returning this to Wal Mart tomorrow and getting the GENTLE skin cleanser instead. I bought this to use with my Clarisonic and it makes my skin burn/sting real bad after use. I didn't have this effect until almost a week of use but it's horrible now! I'm so surprised too because I don't have very sensitive skin. I know the Clarisonic makes skin more sensitive, but still! Hopefully the gentle cleanser is better. From the reviews on here I think it will be. I also think the bad effects are amplified because I was using this in combination with the Neutrogena Makeup Removing wipes and those burned a little when I first began using them. (I'm returning those as well!)
I have been searching for a product to help my bikini area for YEARS. I have tried everything imaginable but I still get embarrassing red bumps! I bought this and it did help after I used it for about a week (and I stopped shaving during this time) as soon as I started shaving again though it didn't seem to help at all! I have no idea WHY I get such horrible ingrown hairs/bumps, I feel like I'm the only one in the world with this problem that hasn't found any kind of solution! I will use this until the bottle is gone because I paid $20 for it (btw it's already half gone after like 2 weeks) but if it doesn't help as I continue my shaving routine I will not repurchase. I might just have to save up for laser hair removal!

Okay so I used this for the first time today, the Fire Red color. I mixed 1/3 of a bottle of protein filler in with as well and my color is beautiful! I have very thin, damaged hair and my hair is now really soft and has absolutely no weird smell like it usually does when I dye my hair at home! That was awesome because usually I dye my hair when I have a day to sit around and not go out, but today I had no worries about leaving the house! The mixture wasn't as runny as I thought it was going to be, but it was hard to do this on my own with having to use a brush and all. I ended up taking a plastic spoon and spooning it onto my hair and spreading it around haha! Maybe I should have purchased a squeeze bottle. But also after spending about 10 mins. applying and checking to make sure I got all of my hair I only had to leave it on for about another 10-15 mins, so it took a lot less time than other box dyes I've used. I can't wait to see how long this lasts, because I've heard it lasts a long time! If it does I'll be sure to repurchase and keep using, and hopefully be able to perfect my technique. The only other downside was that I can't find this in stores anywhere so when I purchased it, the price was like $5 but I had to pay another $5 for shipping...but it will be totally worth it if this color lasts! Update: The color didn't last any longer than my previous dye, I used Herbal Essences after using this and my color lasted WAY longer and I will be trying Feria Copper Shimmer next...
I used Loreal's True Match Foundation for years before I saw reviews for this product! I had always struggled with finding a foundation to match my skin tone, that's why I stuck with True Match for so long. But the lightest shade of ColorStay matches just as good and it lasts way longer than the True Match! I love it! Yes, it's pretty thick but I have really red skin and some acne scars and this covers beautifully! I still use my True Match powder over it and it's the best combination! I waited to write this review because I was nervous this foundation would make me break out, but it hasn't and I've been using it for at least 6 months!
Shampoo -Pantene - Pantene Restoratives Anti-Breakage Shampoo

I'm always searching for the best shampoos/conditioners! I have come back to this one many times. I agree with other reviewers...it doesn't seem to help my hair breakage/fall as much as it says it will but I attribute that to the fact that I have severely damaged and very very thin hair so nothing will probably help me! I recently tried using Paul Mitchell and didn't like it so I bought this again...then I tried using the new Garnier but hated that too. This has been the only shampoo/conditioner that has not weighed down my hair. It leaves it looking healthier and even the lady who cuts my hair comments on how much healthier it looks when I'm using this product. I also want to state that I don't like any of the other Pantene shampoos, just this line! My mom uses it too but she uses the time renewal one!
