Lotions/ Creams -Bath and Body Works - Heel of Approval

I love this -- put it on at night with socks and in the morning your feet will look soft and smooth. I get really bad callouses and dry skin on my feet, and this makes a big difference -- especially if I use it a few nights in a row. It works better for me than Soul Owner. I wish it wasn't in a jar -- not very sanitary.
Yes, this is a cool nail polish. But, no, it is not worth the money. I find the bottle very awkward and hard to work with. I find the quality to be average. The color is beautiful -- but you can find a lookalike with Maybelline (pink stars) or Revlon (shazam). AND, if you're looking to do the Arabesque/Pussy Galore combo (which IS pretty) then you can use OPI Argenteeny Pinkini as a Pussy Galore substitute. You'll save a ton of money!
Lip Gloss -Bonne Bell - Lip Enticemint in Berry Mint

I might be in the minority, but I like the packaging. There are a lot of lip glosses that I end up having to smooth out with my finger anyway, so I don't mind that you have to squirt this out and apply with your finger. The color: I like that too! I usually look awful in pale, frosty colors (FFF with pink undertones and blonde hair) but this looks OK! My lips look really full with this on. The smell is not wonderful, but not intolerable. The gloss is fairly long-lasting and great, smooth texture that doesn't build up with reapplication. I think this is a winner!
Gels/Soaps -Philosophy - White Chocolate Hazelnut 3 in 1

I love the Philosophy 3-in-1s. But, this is the worst thing I have every smelled. I don't know if I got a bad batch, or if I just don't like these kind of scents. I swear, this smelled like B.O. and feet. Ugh. It makes me sick just thinking about it. Go get Cinnamon Buns instead!
Oh, oh, oh I love this! It has changed my life. I get so many compliments on my brows now that I've been defining them with a pencil. An overzealous waxer removed a big chunk of both of my brows (the part where they start -- above the inner corners of the eyes). So it looked like my eyebrows didn't start until above my pupils! I decided to start "drawing them in." I bought this pencil based on the reviews, and I have been thrilled. I bought the blonde color -- I am blonde with medium-brown eyebrows, and this color works great. The pencil goes on easily and stays so well. It is not hard at all to "recreate" my missing brows with this wonderful pencil that I NEVER want to be without. Rave rave rave!
I am very sad. I wanted to like this. Oh well. This is too opaque, too thick, too pale for me. The consistency of the gloss is probably its worst problem, and I usually love lipglasses. I think if it were a little thinner and sheerer, the color would work for me. I'll stick to my Dreamsicle juicy tube for a pale milky pink color.
Lipstick -Chanel - Aqualumiere lipshine #35 copacabana

This is a beautiful color (a plummy-berry shade that's very glossy) and feels great on my lips. However, I do wish it had a little more pigment. And it lasts for about 30 seconds before it wears off. But it's a very pretty color and glossy -- so it's a keeper for now.
I love this. This instantly makes my hands/nails/cuticles look better. (Especially the cuticles, duh). I wash my hands a million times a day, pick at my cuticles, bite my nails, paint, use polish remover ... anyway, my cuticles take a beating. This stuff smells great, is a perfect consistency, not greasy, cute little orange jar. It softens them well so you can push them back -- or if you just massage it in, your cuticles look smoother instantly. I love it! Will definitely repurchase!
If you have MAC Cosmo, you don't need this. They're almost identical. Cosmo might be a tad bit darker/more pigmented, but they're really the same in my opinion. BB Tulle is a matte, neutral pink shade. A very natural looking pink. It is kind of drying -- but matte lipsticks are often like that. I would save money and buy Cosmo if I were you. That said, it's a great color. A staple for me!
I love this. The smell, the jar, everything. It made my skin feel soft. It didn't sting or make my face feel tight. It didn't make any major improvements, but what can you expect -- it's just a mask. Note to those talking about the safety seal, IT DOES come with a seal. You just have to make sure you buy one that still has it. Obviously, people take the seal off in the store and smell/taste/dip in it. But there is supposed to be a seal. You have to look for it though!
A MU artist used this on me, and it looked so nice. I bought it, but I can't achieve the look at home! The pale pink and green shadows are beautiful, but very poorly pigmented. No matter which brush I use, I can't get them to show up. The black glittery shade is nice as a liner -- I use it often with other shadows.
Scrubs -Philosophy - Amazing Grace Perfumed Hot Salt Scrub
sillybelle 11/23/2003 7:58:00 PM
I really liked this. I got this in an AG set, and I just had an AG spa experience at home ... This scrub is a little different than what I'm used to -- it's very concentrated. There is really not much filler oil or goo at all. It took me a while to figure out how to make it work. I just scoop out a little clump and start rubbing. Then it breaks up. Well, my skin is very very soft, and I love the smell, too. I put some AG lotion and perfume on after my bath, and I'm smelling very pretty! I usually only like citrus or foody scents, but AG is a nice floral, clean smell. The scrub is one of my faves now. And I am a scrub nut.
Huge rave and a little story. I am very hard on my hands. I wash them about 1 million times a day. I use my nails as tools. I love to clean. I type. Anyway, most nail polish and base/top coats disappoint me. I tried this one out (as base coat, then 2 coats of OPI polish, then the Teflon Tuff again as top coat). It dried very quickly. About an hour later I was busy playing with make-up. (I usually have to halt all activity for several hours while my nails dry). Meanwhile, my little dog was in the backyard rolling in poo. I had to give her a bath, TWO HOURS after painting my nails. Well, not a chip. Not a smudge. My nails look perfect! I am amazed. The only disappointment -- I'm not that crazy about the OPI color I chose tonight!! (Chocolate Shake-Speare)
I really like this. If you're looking for a comparison to well-known lipglass colors ... Compared to Prrr, Sizzlepeach has gold glitter, of course, and it's much pinker. Compared to Lychee Luxe, Sizzlepeach is lighter and peacher with noticeable glitter. It's very pretty. I don't have anything like it, but I'm sure there's something similar out there. I tried it with Paula's Select lipliner in Peach Velvet, and it looks really nice. One thing I don't like: I miss the old MAC lipglass smell. The texture is pretty nice though.
Lotions/ Creams -A Zaftig Woman - Honey Butter Souffle in Kaidu
sillybelle 10/21/2003 1:00:00 PM
I love this. I wish I could describe the smell ... it's sweet, but not sickening. I got three compliments in one day on this product. Wow! The honey butter souffle is so creamy and smooth. It's great for feet, elbows, legs, everything. This will be a staple of mine.
