I picked this up when I ran out of my MAC Pro Longwear in NC25, and I was a little strapped for cash. I'd read about it extensively, and most people tend to like it a lot, except for the few that have had breakouts from it (I don't tend to have the problem though). I have nothing bad to say about this foundation; it blends beautifully using my flat-top brush and lasts for hours on end, only melting a tiny tiny bit when I broke into a major sweat from exercising. It has a matte finish, but my skin doesn't look dull or cakey/fake when it dries. I'm in the shade Nude, by the way, which is pretty much the equivalent of a MAC NC25, so my research tells me. It was relatively easy to remove using my Bioderma, and sets well with most powders. It does dry pretty quickly, but I'm okay with that, because I usually do my blush straight after, and I don't want it showing up too pigmented. While most people only complain about the pump, I have nothing to say about that, because being in Hong Kong, I get the Japanese packaging, which has a pump on it. It might be a tad different to the US formula though; the Japanese packaging says that it lasts for 16 hours. Not that it bothers me; I'm never really wearing makeup for any longer than that. Overall, I love it, and would definitely buy it again/recommend it!
I personally LOVE this lipstick, though I can understand why some people might not be too fond of it. I have Asian olive-toned skin (I've never used MAC foundations so I'm not sure what shade that would be). Because I wear thick-framed Buddy Holly style glasses, I get to play around a lot with different colored lipsticks. I had Myth before, but I found it a tad TOO light as a nude. Decided to go for a brighter pink, and this was perfect. Looks great with my glasses and bright red hair (: I'm glad this shade comes in matte, because I personally think that if it were in Satin or Frost, it probably look a little too much for my liking. Definite favorite.
