Bath Treatments -LUSH - Fairy Jasmine Bath Bomb
sibellae 2/9/2004 12:52:00 AM
I bought this because I liked the smell and colour, however not really feeling like a glitter bath I used up my other bombs first and left this opened in my room for about a month putting off using it because of the beautiful fragrance it gave off. I might repurchase it to keep in my closet but never again for my bath. I didn't mind the glitter left on me (in fact i'd have loved more to stick) but the bomb didn't make the water feel nice, it went an ugly bruised purple colour and there was an industiral strength size ring of nasty looking glitter left around the bath tub. I didn't even like the smell of the bomb when in the water.

Loose Powders -Jurlique - Silk Dust
sibellae 2/8/2004 7:46:00 PM
Living in Queensland (Australia) where it is hot and humid practically all year round I love this powder for days when I'm not going to be in air-conditioning all day. It keeps my face shine free and me happy. It looks and feels like silky talc but it works like nothing else I have tried and the rose smell is pretty.

Blush -BeneFit Cosmetics - Benetint
sibellae 6/8/2003 10:45:00 PM
This is my HG of stain blushes. I just draw two stripes on my cheeks and blend. The result - a glowing natural pink blush that makes my face bright and healthy. This lasts nearly all day and benetint is one of my favorite products ever! My skin is neither oily or dry and I could see girls with either type maybe getting results they don't like.

Lotions/ Creams -Palmers - Palmers Cocoa Butter Formula
sibellae 6/4/2003 10:20:00 PM
I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE the cocoa butter and have used it everynight without fail for years. I love the yummy smell and the way it sinks into your skin and makes it so smooth. (I do not use it all over every single night as I find it a little to rich, but at least twice a week and every night on drier areas, with a light moisturiser on rest) I often get compliments about the scent, which means if I'm using it in the daytime I use unscented (which for some reason I don't find as great but I think that might just be in my head)so as not to clash with perfume. A must have staple body moisturiser.

Liquid -Estee Lauder - Equalizer
sibellae 6/4/2003 8:13:00 PM
For me this is a nice light foundation that goes on easily and stays put reasonably well. My T zone was slightly shiny after a few hours (about the same as if I didn't have foundation on at all) so for me this didn't "equalize" anything. The MA matched me with a shade too dark, 02 pale almond, (admitably I do look darker than I am)but I find that I don't mind as this gives a nice bit of colour to my face. I won't buy this again but I proberly will use it on occasions.

Lipstick -Christian Dior - Diorific Long-Wearing True Color Lipstick- Mystic Mauve
sibellae 6/4/2003 7:56:00 PM
I love the texture and the feel of this on my lips and how long and well it lasts. I also quite like the classy gold packaging. I was told by the SA that this colour suited everyone and while it does look nice I prefer something with a bit more pink to it, but my mother likes it on me. Not sure if I would buy this colour again but will definitely buy more of this line as this is a beautiful l/s.

Lipstick -Revlon - Colorstay- Dusk
sibellae 6/4/2003 7:43:00 PM
Revlon Colorstay Dusk is my staple lipcolour for when I am having a lazy or casual day or if I am on the run and need a colour that I know works with everything, whether it's a bare face or night face with smoky eyes. I am FFF and on me it is a medium dusky pink that is very long lasting. In Australia Revelon is pretty expensive (This costs around $27 and a clinique l/s around $32)so for me to buy Revlon when I can purchase a higher end brand for $5-$10 more it has to be well worth it which it is and I have replaced always.

Lotions/ Creams -BeneFit Cosmetics - Bathina Body So Fine
sibellae 6/4/2003 7:27:00 PM
My bf bought me this a little while ago and I quite enjoy using it. The packaging is beautiful and the product is lasting a long time. The scent of the balm is softly feminine and is perfect to wear to bed. I do not wear the balm allover, just lightly here and there as it can feel slightly greasy when put on with a heavy hand or on larger areas. For me this is one of my favorite bedtime perfume/scents and not an allover body balm.

Bath Treatments -BeneFit Cosmetics - Bathina Enchanting Beauty Bubbles
sibellae 6/4/2003 7:11:00 PM
I love benefit packaging and when I saw the gorgeous tin the bubbles come in I had to have. The product by no means justifys the price (AU$35), that being said the bath water turns a beautiful light aqua and feels soft, the scent is lovely and stays on the skin, and there aren't to many bubbles which I like. Nice for a change and I know I won't be able to resist repurchasing.
