Liquid -NYX - The Make-Up
rated 1 of 5

My skin: very pale, oily/combination, acne prone, sensitive. I am reviewing the earlier version of this foundation (glass bottle). I honestly tried everything to make it work, but it just wouldn't.. 1. On its own - looked horrible, cakey, rubbed off easily, accentuated dry patches, transferred to everything that had contact with my face (phone, clothes etc.) Coverage was poor, it evened out my skintone but did nothing to hide my blemishes etc. 2. Mixed with moisturizer - looked good at first, after an hour or two started to rub off, creased in certain places, caked horribly. Same story as above. 3. Over a primer - I applied it over Illamasqua's Matt Primer, looked good at first and started to do the same thing as with moisturizer or on its own. 4. Mixed with primer - I really hoped this would work, but same story again. Conclusion: It's cheap, colour 'Pale' is a perfect match for my skin, but I would rather not wear anything than wear this piece of crap. On the bottle it says 'This is the best make-up I've ever used'... honestly, NYX, what did you think? It is a pity that when I finally find my perfect shade I cannot use it due to foundation's flaws. And we're talking about many, many flaws.

Conditioner -John Frieda - Full Repair Full Body Conditioner
rated 5 of 5
shizia 12/11/2012 8:26:00 AM

After only one use I noticed a dramatic difference to my hair. Just so you know, my hair has been bleached and dyed several times and I'm planning even more changes in the future. After using this conditioner (and Matrix Biolage Colour Care shampoo first) my hair feels soft, conditioned really well, I can brush my fingers through it and it doesn't tangle so much as it did before, I just... have no words! I will continue to use this conditioner together with Full Repair mask and I'm sure it will benefit my hair. I would highly recommend to everyone, but especially to people with chemically treated hair, as it does miracles. :)

Blush -NYX - Taupe
rated 5 of 5
shizia 11/6/2012 5:47:00 AM

I've been on a hunt for a contour colour for a long time... and finally I found NYX Powder Blush in Taupe. I'm quite pale with a peachy-pink undetone, so everytime I tried a bronzer, they were all too warm for my complexion. I was advised to try NYX's Taupe blush as a contour colour. It looks absolutely gorgeous on my skin, it's cool toned and not orange at all, which is great! It's quite pigmented, so be careful when applying. It defines my cheekbones like a dream. I recommend to everyone with cool toned, pale skin. Works great!

Cleansers -Skin79 - BB Cleanser
rated 5 of 5
shizia 9/22/2012 6:14:00 AM

I bought this to use as a daily morning cleanser and I must admit I don't regret this purchase. I know it's supposed to be used as a make-up cleanser too, but I chose not to try it on make up. This review is based on my daily morning application. I've been using it since 22/08/2012. I noticed that my skin looks brighter and also I'm not experiencing as many breakouts as before. The product itself hasn't caused me any irritation so far. It always leaves my skin fresh and clean. I apply my Olay moisturizer after and I'm ready for makeup! I'm a big fan of Korean cosmetics and I really recommend this one. It is definitely worth a try!

Shampoo -Matrix - Biolage - Color Care Shampoo
rated 5 of 5
shizia 9/6/2012 4:59:00 AM

I bought this for my red coloured hair and so far it works great. PROS: - my hair feels very soft and moisturized even without conditioner - it has a nice floral smell, but some people might not like it - it instantly made my hair colour more vibrant - my hair feels nourished and soft - it doesn't tangle that often (as it used to before) CONS: - it's pricey - I paid around 20 euros for mine (1 Litre) but it's definitely worth the high price - the bottle lacks a pump, which would be very helpful Overall, I would highly recommend this shampoo for anybody with coloured hair. It especially works great on red/ginger tones but I guess it will be awesome on any colour :)

Tinted Moisturizer -Olay - Complete Plus Ultra Rich Tinted Moisturizer
rated 1 of 5
shizia 9/1/2012 11:17:00 AM

I'm reviewing the Olay Complete Care Touch of Foundation in shade FAIR. PROS: - It has some moisturizing properties and my skin looked kinda healthy after applying the cream. - It is very light, I could barely feel it during the day. - Has a dewy finish, but you can always put some powder on. - Evens out the skintone. - It doesn't clog pores or break my skin out. CONS: - It's more on the yellow side and quite dark for a 'fair' shade, so that will not work on pale ladies like myslef... so I ended up giving it back to the store. I do NOT want yellow on my face. - It won't cover any blemishes or scars, it will just tone them down a little bit, but don't expect miracles. OVERALL: I would recommend it to yellow-based skin ladies who haven't got any major problems with skin but want to even out their skintone and add a healthy glow to it. Definitely NOT for pink based skins, acne prone etc.

Skincare - Face -Pro Activ - Daily Oil Control
rated 2 of 5
shizia 8/29/2012 9:40:00 AM

My skin type: - sensitive - acne prone - combo of oily/dry The sales lady in a pharmacy recommended that moisturizer to me when I sad that I need something for troublesome skin. I'm not a huge fan of this product. My skin feels squeaky clean and rather dried out than balanced... sometimes when I apply it, it literally burns. I don't know why, but obviously you don't want to suffer from something that is supposed to help you. In conclusion, I don't recommend this.

BB Cream -Skin79 - Diamond Collection Pearl BB Cream
rated 5 of 5
shizia 8/29/2012 6:41:00 AM

First of all, I use it as a highlighter. Using it all over my face would be very stupid, as it has lots of sparkles. Unlike other BB creams, it never broke me out, never caused any problems. It has a nice brush applicator which you can take off and clean. I find that it really flatters my skintone and looks beautiful even on its own. I would highly recommend this as a highlighter, not a foundation ;)

BB Cream -Skin79 - Super+ BB Cream Pink Label
rated 2 of 5
shizia 8/29/2012 6:32:00 AM

First of all, my skin type: - sensitive - combination of oily and dry - acne prone Pros: - Colour adjusts beautifully, looks very natural. - I love the packaging, it's super girly. - The product goes on well, smoothly, it doesn't dry out your skin but neither moisturizes like crazy. Cons: - I believe it made me break out everytime I wore it. If you have acne problems, I wouldn't recommend this for you. I've heard many opinions about this BB cream and it's really hard to tell if it's going to break you out or not, I guess you have to try out. - After few hours it gets oily on some parts of my face (oily parts especially, but if you powder it then it's ok). - It does contain oils... and other nasty things. Overall: I feel that this BB cream will suit most people, but NOT the acne prone, problematic skin. If you have that type of skin, I suggest you get a normal foundation instead.

Lip Gloss -Sally Hansen - Lacquer Shine in Jasmine
rated 1 of 5
shizia 8/23/2012 9:20:00 AM

I deeply regret buying this product. Although it has a beautiful colour, it feels like some sticky paint on my lips. It actually feels awful, I don't know how can anyone wear it and don't get annoyed. It transfers everywhere and is very messy when applying. I would not recommend this.

Bronzers -Essence - Bronzer
rated 5 of 5
shizia 7/3/2012 12:00:00 PM

I'm reviewing the SunClub bronzer for lighter skin (blondes). Although I'm not blonde, it goes really well with my complexion :) it's not too orange or too dark, just perfect. You can build up the colour as you go. Price is dirt cheap - I paid 4.39 euro for mine. And it's really huuuuuge (you'll get 15 g of product) so I definitely recommend it!

Scrubs -Soap and Glory - Sugar Crush Body Scrub
rated 5 of 5
shizia 6/27/2012 6:58:00 AM

- You could kill for that smell. It's so delicious it makes me wanna open the jar for the sake of smelling the scrub. - Works really well - my skin immediately felt better, it was smoother; however if you have sensitive skin, you have to be careful. There could be a little skin rash but it eventually goes away. - It's a little bit pricey, but the amount of product you're getting is awesome. I still haven't finished mine and it's been few months since I'm using it. - Your whole bathroom will smell like this scrub after using it, which I think is awesome. - Overall, I would highly recommend to anyone, just be careful if you have sensitive skin like me. Always use moisturizer after the scrub :)

Lotions/ Creams -Soap and Glory - Heel Genius
rated 5 of 5
shizia 6/27/2012 6:45:00 AM

It really IS a heel genius. It moisturizes very well, and if you use it quite often, you will definitely feel the difference. It smells quite nice too. The price is the only drawback, little bit expensive, but still worth it.

Eye Shadow -Stila - Kamet
rated 3 of 5
shizia 2/13/2012 4:36:00 PM

It's a lovely colour, but.... it smells like pepper. And I don't like it when eyeshadows smell, especially like spices. And it's really hard to get the product itself on the brush! I have to rub my brush onto eyeshadow in order to get some colour :(
