Lip Treatments -Korres - Lip Butter - Jasmine
shirry 11/23/2011 6:03:00 PM
Overall: My HG lip conditioning product. Already tried 4 of them - Jasmine, Pomegranate, Mango & Guava. Cannot live without them now, especially during the winter. Quality: It's a real butter texture, moisturizing and softening my lips, without making them feel waxy or greasy. The tinted color are pretty and subtle. And they smell/taste delicious! Also I love that they use rice wax, instead of bee wax, which tends to give me the waxy feeling. It's paraben free, mineral oil free, silicone free, which is definitely a HUGE plus for me. Price: Kinda pricey when compared with those cheap drugstore ones, but they worth the $. Packaging: Love the cute little pot packaging, but it's not convinient as I have to dip my fingers in. This is why I minus a star. Sure will purchase this again and again :)

Lip Treatments -Fresh - mini sugar kissing trio
shirry 11/16/2011 10:49:00 PM
Bought the 3 mini gift set (Passion, Honey and Plum) from Sephora. Not worth the price ($28 for 0.24oz) Quality: It smells or should I say tastes nice, but feels kinda waxy on my lips. It just sits there, doesn't hydrate my lips or do anything. What's worse, it kinda irritate skin around my lips. Price: $28 for 0.24oz from Sephora. At this price range, I am definitely expecting more. Packaging: The twist tube is nice and neat. But the problem is it's a tiny tube, whick makes the product so slim that it doesn't hold its shape and tend to shift in the tube. Returned & obviously will not purchase again.

Other -Sephora - Cellulose Sponge Set for Cleansing
shirry 12/25/2010 11:53:00 PM
I bought them simply because I need to make it $50 for free shipping from Sephora. But these turned out to be nice! Quality: Sponges are in decent quality and quite soft after dampen with lukewarm water, although I kinda with it to be softer. It helped in foaming cleansers - even with the least foamable cleansers, ie my Kate Somerville Detox Cleanser. It also did a great job in gentle exfoliating.

Concealers -BeneFit Cosmetics - Erase paste
shirry 12/25/2010 10:59:00 PM
Overall: a nice Concealer with medium to high coverage, works great for both dark circles and blemishes. Price: $26 for 0.15oz. Compared to MAC Studio Finish Concealer, $16 for 0.24oz, the price of EP is not that friendly. But SF makes my acne-prone skin break out like crazy, whilst EP does not. I guess it's worth my money. Quality: #1 Fair is a good match for me, well at least for winter time. The consistency is creamy and moisturizing. Easy to apply and blend. I only use it for blemishes, for it's kinda too pasty heavy for my undereye. I prefer using fingertips for applying, as the heat of my finger make the product creamier.I would say it has medium to high coverage and the staying power is OK = above average. The only downside for me is the strong smell. Sort of the chemical, industrial smell, which I really don't care for - took a heart off for the bad smell of it :( Packaging: Although it's not that convenient and hygienic as the tube form, the packaging is cute and user-friendly. Love the cute little pinkish purple pot. Although it's not that convenient and hygienic as a tube packaging, May not buy it again, as I don't care for the strong weird smell. Will keep going on my way searching for HG concealer :)

Treatments -E.L.F. - Nail Polish Remover Pads
shirry 12/23/2010 8:04:00 PM
Overall, this NP remover pads is now my HG! Price: $0.99 / pack from Drugstore when you purchase 10 packs. And there are 18 pads in each pack. Quality: I was really skeptical at these cheapy little pads when I purchased them. But it turned out they works super great. It is quite handy with the pads. Plus, it smells nice. Actually it's the best smell of all the NP removal I have ever tried. I am wearing OPI Princess Rule! today. The pink one with some sutler glitters in it. And I wore Seche Vite base and top coat. All i need is just ONE pad for all of my finger nails. AMAZING, right? I would definitely repurchase it after I finish my 10 packs, which will last me for a quite long time fro sure :) Highly highly recommend it for you NP gals!

Cleansers -Kate Somerville - Detox Cleanser
shirry 12/17/2010 3:06:00 AM
Overall: I have tried it for 2 weeks. Overall, a really nice cleanser. Price: Although the price is that adorable, but you really need a tiniest bit for the whole face. The bottle will last for a long time - 6 month on daily basis at my estimation. It definitely worths the price for me. Quality: I only use it once a day at night time. It makes my skin fresh clean and soft. No harsh or tighten at all. Plus it really calm down my oily acne-prone skin. Compared to most of the cleansers I have tried, ie. Fresh Soy cleanser and Philosophy purity, etc., I really enjoy the light citrusy scent. Packaging: I like the packaging a lot, simple and professional. The twist open thingy is really a PLUS! Will definitely use it up and purchase again :)
