I bought the waterproof version of this mascara, since it had been hyped online as the best drugstore mascara for natural-looking lashes. However, this product did not look natural, and made my eyelashes look brittle and fake in the worst way possible. To make matters worse, it would flake off and get everywhere when I tried to remove it. Threw it away after 3 days of use, a complete waste of money.

I have Urbanglow in Wicked, which is a pale shimmering pink champagne color. I love the formula on this product and the compact-style packaging, which is very sturdy and has a mirror included. The formula is like a thin, slippery cream, but stops short of feeling oily. The color blends great with my super-pale skin, and I can use it all over my face and collarbone without breaking out. I have used it over bare skin and mineral foundation and it lasts for about 6-8 hours. Although I love the compact because it is so easy to travel with, the designs on it wore off fairly easily. That is the only complaint about the product, but I do wish that UD would come out with more shades, because Wicked can get overly glittery/shimmery very quickly.
For those who say that this palette is "too dark for fair skin" or that "the colors don't work for pale people", I am a pale person and I disagree. I have no problem with 8/12 shades, and they all look fine on me. That being said, this palette is not the be-all, end-all that it is hyped to be. If you are not generally a fan of neutral eye looks, do not buy this. If the number of matte shades in a palette is very important to you, do not buy this, and buy the Sonia Kashuk neutral eye palette instead. Urban Decay has created a versatile range of colors that work for a number of people, and the Naked 1 has become my go to travel palette. I can create day or evening eye looks, highlight my face with the lightest shades, and fill in my brows with the matte brown. If you have pale/fair/medium skin and like neutral shadows with shimmer/metallic/glitter finishes, you will get a lot of use out of this palette. I have never regretted buying it, and even re-purchased it when my first palette was stolen from me.
