Primer/ Corrector -L'Oreal - Revitalift Miracle Blur

I got a generous sample of this, enough for 2 x's which gives you a pretty good idea of how the product will perform, in a magazine. CVS had a great deal and there was a rebate so I got it. It reminds me of Miracle Skin Transformer, the one with no tint. If L'Oreal comes out with a few shades in a tinted version of this, I'll likely repurchase it as it is just as effective and less than 1/2 the price of the Miracle Skin Transformer. It does gives a softened, buffed, finished, and more blurred appearance to your skin, but at this point I'm using more concealer with it than I like to use regularly. If there is a version that matches my skin tone someday, it will then be HG for me!! I'm giving it a three for now because until there are tinted versions it just doesn't do enough for the purchase price to be worn alone for me.
Gels/Soaps -Olay - Olay Total Effects Deep Penetrating Moisture Body Wash

Love. Love. Love this stuff. It is the only bodywash I've tried that if I'm in too big a hurry to put on lotion, my skin doesn't feel tight and dry - even in the winter. It lathers nicely and yet leaves skin moisturized. I think that's all you can ask for in body wash.

Use with Caution! I read that Halle Berry uses it after a shower and decided to try it. I checked out reviews of it online before I bought it and there are LOTS of posts that says it casues RASHES. I tried it the first time and loved it immediately but did have a rash on the backs of my knees and inside my elbows as well as under my chest. I loved it so much that I let the rash go away and tried it again a few days later. Still got a rash but less of one. Let that one go away and the next time I tried it NO RASH!! I can't explain why I got a rash at first and no longer do but I just bought some more after using up the two bottle package I got at Target for $. This gives you glowing soft skin and I absolutely love it!!
Why doesn't this get more love? I love that it is a light beige color so you don't have to look hideous while using it and it is just as effective as their Mint Julep one. I'm glad I found it and will repurchse.
This works really well on the somewhat sparse brows that I have and am letting get a bit fuller. The colored wax looks more natural on me than a powder or pencil becuase it goes on the actual brow hairs to make them a bit thicker rather than on the skin. Does the best job of making them more defined while looking the most natural.
Lip Treatments -Fresh - Sugar Lip Treatment SPF 15

I really loved this at first, and at first, thought I'd repurchase. I got it as a gift from Sephora and even started looking at their other colors, esp Coral but I've since decided that as much as I love the packaging, the idea, feel, and smell of this lip treatment, I can't live with how easily it mushes and breaks. I've got an Avon Dew Kiss that works just as well and I got it on sale for 69 cents, and it doesn't break!
Why do people call this a nude lipstick? It is definitley a pale milky pink and I really like it. The texture and lasting power are both great and I actually found this lipstick at the MAC counter while looking for the perfect pinky/nude, I love this lipstick, but this isn't what I would call nude!
Mascara -Jordana - Best Lash Extreme Volumizing Mascara

I read one review of this and the reviewer said it made her lashes feathery. I couldn't quite fathom a mascara that would both thicken and make your lashes feathery, but this does. I think the ends look less clumpy and spiky than with other mascras and I like that the black is a dark black.
I tried this blush 3 x's at the makeup counter before I took the plunge and bought it yesterday, so this is the first full day I've worn it. I did have to reapply @ 3:30 today but it may be that I used too light a hand with it this morning, so I'll have to tweak that. This blush is way more flattering to my NW15 complexion than Nars O and it seems to give me enough color to really brighten me without having the color look artificial. The shimmer is just the right amount to not be noticeable but to keep the finish of it from looking like it's just sitting there flat on the skin. So far-so good.
I really like this and use a color a shade lighter than my hair, Dark Blonde. It's easy to apply, lasts and the packaging is fine to me except for the comb on the end, I don't ever use it.
I have #800 & #815, the light beige and brown ones. This lasts on me all day and I love how my eyes look finished but I don't look overly done up. The light beige one reminds me of a liquid MAC Shroom and the brown one like a lighter MAC Satin Taupe except the shadowblast is a bit sheerer which I like. It won't be for everyone, nothing ever is, but if you like the description I think you'll love it.
Lipstick -Revlon - ColorBurst in 070 Soft Nude [DISCONTINUED]

A lot of bang for the buck with this. The makeup stylist at Nordstrom complimented me on this lipstick, I had just bought it at Ulta that day and had it on for the first time, she said she's not a SA for any one brand but rather like a mu personal shopper so I took that as high praise. It works for me and is as on the warm side as I can comfortably go without really crossing over into orange. I wear MAC Creme Cup when a I want really pale pink that doesn't wash me out and this is now my go to pale nude. Update** I do find I have to reapply this more often than with other lipsticks I wear and a lip balm underneath is a good idea as it does go a bit dry after awhile, even though at first, it goes on smoothly.
Lotions/ Creams -Neutrogena - Norwegian Formula Hand Cream

I did hair for several years and was in chemicals and shampoo a lot. Some nurses told me about this and it saved my hands. I don't do hair anymore and don't need anything as serious as this and have had good luck with Avon's Moisture Therapy Intensive healing & repair cream. Works as well for me and you can get it on sale so it goes a lot further. I also had good luck with Curel when I lived in SLC Utah which is very dry. It isn't a glamorous hand cream but if you seriously need it, it will work.
Yeah!! I can wear bright pink. It's that little bit of blue that gives it a little more depth on me that I need to carry it off. I can also wear NYC's Blue Rose for the same reason. So fun and so cheap!
This does what I was beginning to think was impossible-gives me a sultry eye look with out being flat. Black is just plain too harsh for me and greys/charcoals leave me washed out. I use this with haux in the crease and this in the corners and around my lash line. I never would have found this with out the MUA reviews. Thanks!
