I bought this primer because i read the reviews and heard word of mouth that it should stop my oil break outs. My skin is shiny within one hour of cleansing/ applying on make up. Ive used this primer the last 3 weeks and it the texture feels great on my skin, its very light, smells nice. however it doesnt control shine, the price definately doesnt justify the quality, i was shiny within 2 hours. i use nars matte foundation and calvin klein matte powder this primer is definately a let down in terms of what its suppose to do. However, if u have dry skin i think this primer would be good.
I have ultra short lashes, and using this always makes me feel and look like theyve extended and fuller. I think after 2 months of everyday use it starts clumping but definately improves the look of my lashes. I normally like MAC zoom lash but for this price for rimmel mascara, why not go for a cheaper substitute that does the same thing,

As below, i also have a love hate relationship with this product after using it for 3 years. My skin type is oily, acne prone, normally skin gets shiny after an hour of application. I found this foundation to hold great coverage and didnt break my skin out further than my skin already is, i used sandy beige and pure beige. It was a good deal for the $25AUD price you would pay for I actually found there was more cons to using this product as it looked like i was wearing make up, it didnt blend into my skin and the texture looked cakey i felt after a few hours. The foundation was quite messy which was a pain when there would be heaps of powder remaining ontop of the case. The brush was awful and after a few uses, became stiff held more powder on it than it left on my face. Dry skin is pretty bad too as it becomes obvious. I always found that i had to use a finishing veil ontop of the powder because it just doesnt hold shine. Overall i would repurchase, however I have heard in australia colours are becoming limited due to discontinuing product in near future.
Loose Powders -Calvin Klein - Subliminal Purity Mineral Based Loose Powder

Bought this product as a finishing powder on top of my foundation. This powder feels nice on, very light and does not clog pores, but fails to control shine and also very light coverage The powder sponge was awful because it clung to much powder on it so I had to use a brush instead for application and was a mess when the powder fell everywhere. The packaging looked classy but the lid became loose after awhile with traces of powder falling out of the tub. Overall i would repurchase as ive tried worser products.
I bought this product a few years ago and more recently and i still find it fantastic. Pros: In terms of coverage, it provides this fresh look on your face, with a hint of shimmer (i used #701 and #702) and sits as an awesome setting powder on your face. i would use it for nights out clubbing and my skin in photos would turn out flawless. The product smells great and the packaging is cute. Cons: My skin felt quite clogged and didnt prevent shine after a few hours. Touch ups were required. Also travelling with this powder was a pain, there was no secure lid and i have lost count how many times i have actually dropped or spilled this powder. It creates a mess and ruins your powder buffer.

My skin is super oily and Ive tried many products under the sun to find the best primer to use before applying make up. Ive used this for 6 months and first settled because i couldnt find a better primer. However, this primer DOES NOT keep you shine free. After 2 hours, my forehead, cheeks and nose is shiny. This product sprays on well leaving a fresh feeling, however when it dries, it feels like a plastic coat over your face that feels and looks quite plasticy. It does not sit well with my mac foundation or powder and leaves a streak line throughout the day. I would use it short term but not everyday use, for the price your paying and for its use, not worth it. It also doesnt help your skin in breaking out with pimples.
My hair was extensively damaged through years of bleaching and hair colouring from black to blonde. My hair is naturally thick and with lots of split ends etc. I use to be hesistant in trying new hair products as I believe that you cant trust those hairhouse warehouse representatives etc from recommending me redken heavy creme treatment to de lorenzo, to even natural organic treatments. None completely worked, my hair was probably 10% improved but saw no long term benefit. I tried this Morrocon Oil hair masque and after two washes, my hair had improved by 50%, it looked much healthier and softer. It didnt make my hair greasy as my hair was thick and quite damaged. Its one of the best products ive tried. Ive also tried Kerastase hair treatments and they were also amazing. Unfortunately the pricing on both these products are quite expensive, but totally worth repurchasing.
This foundation was overall OK. I had used this product for two years. I have super oily skin and I found that wearing this foundation after two hours made me super shiny. I used Chanel precision matte liquid as a primer to control the oil. However this foundation was so heavy and blocked my pores. I would not recommend an oily skin person to use this as throughout the day, the foundation slides. However i used this product for two years because i found the coverage awesome, it covered up even the worstest acne scars. Long term benefit though, broke my skin out into tiny pimples and bumps, didnt help my skin to improve.
I have super oily skin, make up within an hour feels like im wearing a mask. So Ive been using this proactiv product for 3 years, I will definately say for the first couple of months it was a blessing on my skin! Really controls the shine and leaves a fresh feeling. However after a few years, the effectiveness seeemed to wear off, as if my skin was getting use to the product. I havent seem to be able to find a better primer so I continue to purchase it. It still does the job for like the first 2 hours or so but afterwards would need to use oil blotting sheets. If anyone finds anything better let me know!

Powder was ok on my skin. It very nice and shimmer and would make you look a million dollars if you had dry skin. My skin on the other hand is oily tzone and just after 1 hour, it feels greasy and shiny. Doesnt absorb oil, not recommeneded at all for oily skin. It also has an awful smell on the face when applied
