This flaked me out with extended use. I see results in the first few weeks but after that, it fades and the nice skin I had in the first few weeks disappeared. Also, it gave me flaky skin and I do moisturize after using this as a serum. It does smell nice though.
This gave me bumps on my forehead. And a patch of skin on my forehead became really rough looking. Thank goodness I got only a sample and didn't splurge on a full-size. I read online that the alcohol content on this product is pretty high. It did give me smooth skin before I got the bumps and rough patche. I'm sure there are better treatments out there at this price!
nice orangey peach gold that will work well on less yellow skin tones. I am NC20 for reference and this shows up a orange gold on me! It's a pretty shade but I can't pull it off. I can see it looking great on darker skin tones paired with neutrals.
I prefer this over melon pigment as melon was way too bright orange on me. I am NC20 and find wearing orange extremely unflattering on me. This looks great with patina for a neutral look. It looks great with mink and sable as well as there is a nice contrast between the peachy tone in jardin aires and the green in mink and sable and this look still look toned down enough for work. I probably will not buy again as there are probably dupes that I can find in other brands.
Eye Shadow -MAC - Femme-Fi from Neo Sci-Fi Collection

Lovely highlighter and the only eyeshadow I got from the neo sci-fi collection. I was after expensive pink as well but decided not to since it's in the permanent collection. I got evening aura as well but returned it in the end because I just couldn't get it to work. I like femmi-fi over shades like phloof and shroom. Phloof was too white and shroom was too pinky-beige on me. I am NC20 for reference.
I see micro glitter in the pan and I decided to swap it (is it only me who see the micro glitter?). It's a really pretty color but my eyes have gotten really sensitive and I can't deal with any flakes of glitter it. It's really too bad since the color is lovely and it goes with neutrals and pinks (if you dare!). I bought one-off and it's cooler with no flakes of glitter in it.
I wanted a true yellow gold and this was a tad orangey on me. I don't mind it since I'm building my eyeshadow collection and it's a great addition to all the colors I have. It looks great with browns, greens, blues and purples. I can even see it working with oranges and pinks/reds as well. This definitely should get more use in my palette!
For a veluxe pearl, gorgeous gold doesn't have the same buttery texture of rose blanc and warming trend. It took a good base and numerous swipes of the eyeshadow before the color will show. It's not a true golden-gold but have a slight greenish sheen to it. It's still a pretty color as long as you can get the texture to work. Maybe I got a bad batch?
I went to the MAC counter asking for a brown for the crease which doesn't have any red or orange in it. The MA whipped out patina and I loved it from then on! It is a nice crease color for the fair to light skin ladies. And this goes with every single eyeshadow shade I have! It is such a multi-tasker and it's idiot-proof on me as well. Blending this was easy and it's great for those time-pressed mornings. I can see myself hitting pan on this in the future and yes I will definitely repurchase!
This is a LE product from MAC and it's supposed to be a taupe. It's in the likes of shades like smoke and diamonds eyeshadow and sweet sienna pigment. Personally, I find clue to be more wearable for my NC20 skin than smoke and diamonds and sweet diamond. It might be because it has a slight touch of brown in it. Clue looks great with pinks, blues and purples but I can see it going well with a cooler shade of green as well. The only gripe I have with this product is its texture, it's alot harder than smoke and diamonds (which is a starflash texture) and needs a good base to make it show.
I am on the fence for this lipgloss. On one hand, this brightens my face when I wear it but on the other hand, it is a pretty common shade and easily dupable. One good thing about this is it's not extremely shimmery which makes it easy to wear. If you are looking for an easy to wear sheer pink lipglass without too much shimmer, this might be for you.
On me, "Steal my heart" is a sheer medium raspberry pink with shimmer. I think it is just nice for a darker than mlbb look. It will also be great for neutral or bright eyes, I think. I usually stay away from bright hues for my lipcolors and I was initially worried that "steal my heart" might be too bright. But it turned out great for me because of the sheerness of it. It has the texture of normal mac lipglass and I personally prefer it over stila's and dior's lip gloss texture.
Lip Gloss -MAC - Lipglass - Phosphorelle - Lure Collection

I usually can never wear too pale lip glosses as it washes me out. I read the reviews here and decided to be adventurous and swapped for phosphorelle. On me, phosphorelle is a pale creamy natural pink sheen and it looks very natural. It's great for a natural everyday look or with dark eyes. I see myself reaching for this alot!
Blush -Hard Candy - Blush Crush Baked Blush #127 Honeymoon
sheenl 11/29/2009 9:24:00 PM
This blush is so pretty! It is a nude-peach sheen on me and it makes my cheekbones look so defined. I think this blush will look great with a darker or brighter eye and when you want a nudish looking blush. I do agree the color payoff can be better but because of this you can use it as a highlighter too. I probably wouldn't buy this again as I think this will last me for a long time.
I have gone through a small bottle of this before and had repurchased a large one. However I got tired of the large bottle and I think it's in part because my body chemistry changed. It's a light sweet berry floral on me which has great lasting power. The cap is extremely heavy and I just leave the cap out when I travel.
