Moisturizers -Bobbi Brown - Vitamin Enriched Face Base

though i love most of her makeup, i have never been a huge BB skincare fan as far as my skin is concerned. however, i love this stuff. much better for me than the hydrating cream! it is actually called "oil-free", but it does have some shea butter in it to help retain moisture in the skin. i definitely have more of a glow than usual! and a little goes a long way.

cute packaging, good scent, but totally broke me out on my forehead. booooo! so weird, that never happens to me. but anyway, i returned it and got a refund, because it definitely wasn't cheap!

Lips -Bobbi Brown - Lip Tint in Maple
shauna 1/1/2003 9:12:00 PM
the perfect product for a city girl who wants that perfect, on- the-go, moisture-and-great-shine- with-a-little-bit-of-color-in-one type thing. it has a slanted tip on the tube, so no mirror, finer or lipbrush needed! great peppermint essence, and SPF 15 too. i love all the shades, but maple and tea tint are my faves.

Shampoo -Aussie - Moist Shampoo

my favorite drugstore shampoo and conditioner. love the scent, love what it does to my hair, and i love the price. it's not the most exciting packaging, but it does a great job, esp. for the price point.

Conditioner -Terax - Crema
shauna 1/1/2003 9:08:00 PM
i am always so happy to use this product...it eally works wonders on tired, dry hair. i'll use it maybe once a week and really let it soak in. it leaves my hair incredibly soft, and i love the scent. it's not cheap, but a little goes a long way. i'm glad i gave this one a try! i managed to find it on ebay, so i may have to pay more if i want to buy more!

Moisturizers -Bobbi Brown - Hydrating Face Cream
shauna 1/1/2003 9:05:00 PM
first, a positive note: i love the new BB skincare packaging, reminiscent of a european apotecary. beyond, that, i'm not crazy about this cream, particulary at this price point (42.50). it does smell nice, though. it didn't break me out, but it didn't change my life. i'm happier with my cetaphil.

Mascara -Bobbi Brown - Lash Glamour Lengthening Mascara
shauna 1/1/2003 9:02:00 PM
i love this mascara! i bought it in smoke. although pricey at $19, this masacra is loaded with pigment and does a great job of lengthening, slightly thickening and defining with very little product and effort. the brush is extremely inventive (designed to make the most of bobbi's "start at the roots of the lashes and wiggle the wand on the way up the lashline). totally dig the packaging, too! the only bummer is that although this product is water resistant, i do notice little smudges under the eyes near the end of the day. otherwise, i really love this mascara.

Lip Liners -Laura Mercier - Chestnut lipliner
shauna 1/1/2003 8:58:00 PM
i have always thought LM's packaging is one of the least beautiful of all the high end lines, so don't even get me started on the (i just don't think it lives up to the quality of the product, for starters). anyway, chestnut is now my HG of lipliners, it is the perfect neutral shade that still adds depth, and i use it line as well as to fill in, and then top with gloss. it also makes a lovely combo with LM's tender lips lipstick.

Highlighters -Bobbi Brown - Shimmerbrick Shimmer Brick Compact (All colors)
shauna 1/1/2003 8:56:00 PM
what can i say, other than the shimmerbrick absolutely lives up to the hype? it's less shimmery than one would think, it's actually more of a "radiance booster" for the skin. it does offer a slight bronze color when blended all together, and i love the color individually for e/s as well. two thumbs up! it is $35, which is the only downside, but for BB, it's worth it.

Shampoo -Bumble & Bumble - Gentle Shampoo
shauna 1/1/2003 8:51:00 PM
i recently bought this after the stylist used it on me at a salon. i love the scent and the fact that it is indeed gentle, but i still get a "squeaky clean" feeling. you don't have to use much, either, but it is a much smaller bottle than what you'd get at the drugstore, and i shelled out $14 for it. i'm very happy with it so far, b ut the price lowered my rating from a 5 to a 4.
