After reading great reviews on this item, I decided to give it a try. I have very narrow fold on my eyelid (I'm asian), and they get so oily that MAC's paints crease on my eyelids, and Bobbi Brown's gel-liners fade. I gave Primer Potion a try twice this weekend, and I have to say this is a very very good product. I would highly recommend this to anyone who has problems with eyeshadows/eyeliner staying on. After applying the dubs of this nude colored potion, it glided easily onto my lids. Creamy, but surprisingly not oily nor drying on my lid. I had no problem whatsoever layering shadows on top, and 12 hours later, my eyeshadows looked almost as good as it did when applied. Incredible! I am very excited about this product, and I would repurchase again and again. Thanks Makeup Alley!

Lotions/ Creams -Nivea - Age Defying Moisturizer

I am on my fourth bottle of this Age Defying Moisturizer with Creatine. I started using this in the summer, so my skin has not been so dry yet, but it has been doing a great job of keeping my skin moisturized, soft and smooth. Absorbs easily into my skin, and not too heavy. I am not too crazy about the scent, but it just smells like...lotion. Retails around $7.99 at drug stores, and although I am not sure yet if it has any "anti-aging" effects, as it claims, (I'm still in my thirties), I am using this product for aging prevention every other day.

Gels/Soaps -St. Ives - Oatmeal and Shea Butter Body Wash

I'm on my second bottle of this really yummy smelling bodywash. I really like it! It is somewhat moisturizing, and it keeps my skin smooth. Rather up well, and it is easy to rinse. Plus, it's really cheap:) and available everywhere. What's not to love about this bodywash?? I recommend this bodywash.

Conditioner -L'Oreal - Feria Color Moisturizing Treatment.

I have been using this conditioner on and off. I have very long, heavyily highlighted hair, and color/highlight my hair every 10 weeks. (My hair has been colored for over 15 years.) Yet, I don't get split ends, and my hair is in good condition. This conditioner doesn't really weigh down my limp fine hair, and it's very reasonable.....! I love it. I like switching products all the time, b/c it seems like products stops to work when i keep using the same. But I always have this conditioner, and use it once a week or so. Not the most moisturizing, but it keeps my color very well, and it gives me the shine that I want without weighing my hair down. Overall, great cheap conditioner for colored hair that i will keep using.

Wow! I have used it only twice so far, but it made my skin really clean! without my skin being tight/dry. (Many so-called deep pore cleansing masks make my skin tight) Reasonably priced, too.

Cleansers -Paula's Choice - Skin Balancing Oil-Reducing Cleanser

I just bought the biggest size! I have an extreme combo skin in winters(t-zone really oily, and cheeks are really dry.) but this cleanser doesn't make my skin tight/drying at all, yet my t-zone in control. I am not a big fan of weird "unscented" smell, but it balances my skin. Very reasonably priced, and I like this much better than cataphil(I hate filmsy feeling of it!)

Styling Products -Phyto - Phytovolume Actif Volumizing Spray

After hearing some people raving about this product, I decided to give it a try. It is sticky! I didn't know like the texture it gives me at all and made my hair look greasy at roots. Plus, I didn't like the scent.

This creme tames my daughter's curly and frizzy hair, but doesn't control it. Perfect for perm is cheaper, and I see the same effect. Not too impressed with this product.

Scrubs -Totally Juicy - Hot Apple Sugar Body Scrub

I came across it in Duane Reade, and I gave it a try. Good thing is that it is an average scrub, and it wasn't drying. Scent is okay. Bad thing is that I didn't really feel it warming up as I rub this. Fair product for its price. My daughter loves this product.

Blush -MAC - Cheekhue

I just bought Figurative, and love it! It is a very natural color( I have strong yellow undertone, and medium in color.) for me, and I apply this cheekhue little by little and layer it until I achieve the color.It is easy to blend and goes on creamy. Also, i layer it with a powder blush, and it lasted all day.

Recently, I develped patches on my cheeks, and felt that it was time for me to rank up on my skincare routine before my face shows more aging. And this product was highly recommended that I got samples, and tried it out....but the product was definately not for me. Also, I hated the smell:( Good thing I tried the samples first!

I have received the samples, and I used it for last 2 days....AMAZING! I have combo skin, and my cheeks had patches from recent cold weather. After two applications, they were GONE! It is sticky/greasy at first, but 3 min. after the application, my whole face was nice and evenly matte in apperance, and velvety soft in touch! I just ordered one, because I love this product so much

Mascara -MAC - Mascara X

I like this mascara, because it doesn't clump. Also, the color is semi glossy which I like and didn't smudge. But, don't expect a dramatic effect. I usually over-do my mascara because I have thin,short lashes. I applied this mascara over 3 times, but couldn't get the result I wanted.

I like using this mask when I can feel acne forming. Bit too dry for me to use it all over my face, but it perfect for my t-zone.
