i bought this online through sephora and i thought that "lindsey" would be a safe colour, but i find the shade a little too barbie-like. i can still wear it since it's pretty sheer, but if i put a bit too much, it can look really bad on me. in terms of the product, it's really moisturising for a lipstick, so i think i might try another shade next time. it's a good product, but not the right colour for me. oh ,. but the packaging doesn't live up to the hype. it's supposed to embedded with seeds so that wild flowers would grow out of it, but it didn't work for me. if they wanted to be environmentally friendly, they could have ditched the box all together.
Moisturizers -Philosophy - Hope in a Jar - for all skin types

i really tried to like this moisturizer, but it really dried out my skin. the texture feels really nice when i apply it on my face initially, but because of the lactic acid in the ingrediant to exfoliate your face, my skin ends up feeling really dry and flaky. i should also mention that it smells awful too. i would not buy this again.
i love this mascara. i have to admit that it doesn't look like false lashes or anything, but it does everything else that it needs to. it never smears and it lengthens my lashes quite a bit. it's also really easy to take off at the end of the night. it's really expensive, but i would buy it again because i have never had mascara that hasn't smudged on me.
i'm not really a fan of perfume or vanilla for that matter, but i really wanted to try this ever since i read about on sephora. something about the scent really grew on me. i liked it enough to purchase a bottle, but now i'm addicted to it.
Lotions/ Creams -Lavanila - The Healthy Body Butter - Pure Vanilla

i love this body butter. i find most body butters too greasy and it doesn't tend to sink into your skin, but the lavanila body butter really sinks in to heal and moisturize. and it smells really really nice.
haha.. it's almost funny how awful this stuff smells. but somehow i got used to the smell after using it for a while and it doesn't bother me as much. the jar of ojon restorative hair treatment has been sitting around my house for over a year and i starte using it recently. i gave it to my mother as a mother's day gift and we both tried and we were both so turned off by the smell that we stopped using it and forgot about it. and when we did use it back then i dont' remember getting the same results as i do now. this time around, i usually leave it in my hair for atleast a half hour, where as before i could only withstand it for maybe 10- 20 mins.. and i make sure to shampoo my hair a couple of times so that there is no residue. and now i'm getting fantastic results! it is mighty expensive, and it reeks like hell, but it gets my hair shiny and soft without weighing it down. so i will buy it again.
i got this as a sample with purchase and i will probably go buy it afterwards. i use vasaline on the occasion and i have even used vitamin e cream for my dry lips, but i usually use burt's bees on a daily basis. i like lip mender so much better because it does what it's supposed to. i think this is gonna be my new everyday lip balm. however it is more expensive than i would like and the packaging doesn't do much for me either.
Moisturizers -Cetaphil - Daily Facial Moisturizer SPF15

i really gave this moisturizer a chance. i bought it because i like many other cetaphil products, however i would never buy this again. i couldn't get over the awful chemical smell. i didn't like the texture either. it felt heavy, but not really very moisturising. the only thing that i liked about it was the packaging.
i have acne prone skin and i never used toner before i started using the H2O marine toner. i didn't wanna dry out my skin, so i chose an alcohol free toner. this really cleared up my skin. when i finished the bottle i just bought a cheaper drug store brand alcohol free toner thinking it would work the same, but my skin broke out again. so i'm gonna go back to this toner again.
Liquid -Cover Girl - CG Smoothers All Day Hydrating Makeup
shanahs 10/31/2006 3:40:00 PM
i really liked this product. it has pretty good coverage while looking natural on my skin. i still had to use concealer on some areas of my face, but i would definately buy this again. i think it's a good quality product especially for the price.
this is my favourite mascara. like others have mentioned before, it doesn't do that much in terms of adding volume to your lashes, but i love the formula of this mascara. it never clumps, smears or flakes off, but still fairly easy to remove at the end of the day. i will buy this again.
i'm really dissapointed with this product. i bought this directly from the jelly pong pong website and it was advertised as an eyeliner that could also be used as eye shadow, but it's sort of in between the a liner and a shadow. it doesn't work very well as either. it's too shimmery to use as a liner and too waxy to use as a shadow. it's also dissapointing that they never mentioned the shimmer on the website, even though on the packaging it says "eye shimmer" i would definately not buy this again. oh, the packaging is great, but what good is that if the product sucks?
Blush -Jelly Pong Pong - Jelly Flush Cheek Stain in Peach Bourbon
shanahs 10/24/2006 12:57:00 PM
i like almost everything about the product. the packaging, the scent and the texture is lovely. it's not over the top and really easy to apply for a natural glow. however, it is a little too sheer than i would like. i had to use quite a bit of the product for it to show on my skin. i would probably buy this again, but perhaps in a darker shade.
