I was not happy with this. The color is fine for me, although it should be called Dore Khaki - it's really more gold than green. There is plenty of pencil for the price and if you like it, it should last a while. The problem that I have is with the way it goes on. I don't think of myself as having sensitive or thin skin, but the amount of pulling and dragging and tension that I have to use to get any color on my eyes makes it unwearable for me. After I'm done, my eyes are red and tearing. I do not have a heavy hand, either, and tend to go more for the subtle than the bright, so I'm not asking a lot from the pencil. It works very well when you are trying it on your hand at the makeup counter, but please try it on your eyes before you purchase. I hate seeing that amount of $$ being tossed into the junk drawer.
Dr Suess on Jo Malone Grapefruit I like the grapefruit Like it well I never get tired of that grapefruit smell You can mix it with some spice some fruits or flowers are also nice. You can wear it with vanilla Or you can gift it to your fella. You can wear it with many a thing But all alone is the way I swing After a while, the scent on me smells like a Victorian pouch of potpourri. It's simple It's frilly It's dignified too. Wear it with confidence at your next interview. I like the grapefruit Like it well I never get tired of that grapefruit smell!
Fragrances -Unlisted Brand - Maison Martin Margiela - Untitled EDP

I had just walked from the Chanel counter, where I'd tested Coco EDT on my right arm. I saw Untitled on a display in Sak's and tried to spray a card with the scent. I missed the card completely, and sprayed the fingers of my left hand. I sniffed the perfume from my fingers, and immediately looked around to see if anyone was watching. You see, the scent, at least on me, starts out as a the scent of a citrus/iris infused vagina. Seriously. Not unpleasant, but I felt that it was too intimate a scent to be sniffing in the middle of Sak's. I was also kind of hesitant to go back to work, not sure if anyone else would recognize the smell. Anyway, on my way back to the car, I smelled it again, and AGAIN did a double take - now, my right hand (untitled) smelled identical to my left arm (Coco). Pure incense and smoke. Very unusual, my body chemistry is (admittedly) very weird, so maybe it does not work this way on anyone else. But I am going to spray this before bed, and see if my husband likes the effect......
The first time I tried this, I kind of liked the opening, but it was really ridiculous for somebody my age to be smelling so strawberry sugar pop-py. I did like the sparkling champagne affect, and really liked the drydown. I DO smell the popcorn pretty distinctly. Anyway, had another sample of it today, daubing it instead of spraying it, and it skipped the teeny bopper strawberry and went straight to a very pleasing (still sweet) floral. I still get the popcorn in the dry down. As much as I like this scent, I simply cannot bring myself to actually purchase it, as it was co-designed by John Galliano, who is a notorious anti-semite. But dammit, it's some fine smelling juice!
I found this for about 8 dollars at TJ Maxx, so decided to give it a try. One spray on my arm, and it just wasn't working for me. The other day I took it out for one last shot before I gave it away, and now I'm starting to like it.It starts out with light, sheer citrus notes and dries down to a light powder/dry chalk kind of scent. This is a scent that you wear for yourself, because it sits so close, nobody will be able to detect it but you. Casual and low key in a nice way. So I'm going to keep it in the rotation for hanging out on the porch swing.
I used this for the first time a couple of nights ago and am very impressed. I live in a warm, humid climate and anything remotely heavy in my hair makes my face and scalp sweat. Anyway, I cannot feel it in my hair at all, and it gives my thinning, curly, dry, frizzy hair a much better texture. Dissappointingly, I don't see a whole lot of shine, but I do see a dramatic decrease in frizziness and coarseness. I will definitely use it again, after all, it's so easy to find and even easier on the wallet.
Lip Treatments -Christian Dior - Addict Lip Glow Color Reviver Balm

I love the color that this produces, and it make my lips feel soft and plump. As I've gotten older, my lips have gotten paler and smaller, to the point where I thought that lipstick only accentuated the decline, so I stopped using it. But this treatment creates a natural color that looks like it could be my own, and my lips look a bit fuller. Not to mention much smoother. Very impressed, and if this impression lasts, I will definitely be adding it to the permanent column.
The SA gave me a good size sample of this, since I was intrigued by the Grace Kelly connection. Sprayed some on when I got in the car, and it smelled so foul, so repellent, but I couldn't put my finger on it. Took one more whiff, and then I recognized it. This fragrance(?) has the exact scent of ammonia with a touch of fake lemon. Horrible.
Here's the weird thing about this scent - it sparkles. But sparkling implies movement - either effervescent bubbles or fireworks or rocking waters. And that's the thing, I get the distinct feeling of movement from this. After a while the movement dissipates, but the scent is still ripe and luscious. I combine it with Nutmeg and Ginger get a distinct two-tone scent - the freesia turning powdery and delicate and floating over the spicy oriental notes of Nutmeg and Ginger. I am totally smitten.
I don't wear this by itself, I think that it has a sharp edge, which dries down quickly, but I find it better as a 'mixer' with other Jo Malone scents, to give them a foundation, and some tenacity. This scent is the very best when combined with Nectarine Blossom and Honey, or with Grapefruit. It also works very well with Orange Blossom (kind of like a Creamsicle!). I don't really detect the vanilla or the anise for that matter, but whatever, it adds an intriguing, irresistable dimension to the other scents and makes them last from your morning shower to your nightime bath.
