This is the foundation I use when going out for business, meals, etc. I love the finish, but I can't find an "exact" match to my complexion. I use Natural Linen, which is a bit on the yellowish side, however, I balance it out with bronzer, etc. The coverage level on this is right for me (I'm in my fifties), and if anyone has a suggestion for another type of foundation that gives good coverage with a smooth finish, I'm open to recommendations. (Thanks in advance!) Until then, I'll stay with this one.
Foundations -L'Oreal - Visible Lift Line Minimizing Makeup

This brand is a "fall-back" foundation for me. By this, I mean I use it for "lesser" occasions, such as when I go out for errands, exercise class, etc. With this price, I don't mind wearing it when I'll be sweating it off. My colour is Natural Beige - and it is a better match to my complexion than my more expensive foundation, which is an Estee Lauder product. The finish with the L'Oreal product is less dewy or smooth, but it is acceptable and it does cover pores nicely.
Gels/Soaps -Yves Rocher - African Shea Butter Body Wash [DISCONTINUED]

Ah...this is my favourite of the Yves Rocher body wash/shower gels. I love the subtle scent. It leaves my skin feeling very soft and it is a gentle product. Like some other reviewers, I find the snap lid in the packaging a bit annoying and even difficult to open, however, I'm willing to put up with it as the product itself is good and the price is terrific.
Skincare - Body -Yves Rocher - Lavande Essentielle Revitalizing Ice-Gel

I do not think this product is a good value when compared to others I have tried. My favourite foot and leg lotion is a drugstore product, Alpen Secrets Tea Tree & Mint Foot and Leg lotion. It has more tingle than the Yves Rocher products and for me, it is more effective as well. It is also less expensive - more product for less money.
Lotions/ Creams -Yves Rocher - lavande essentielle moisturising cream dry feet

I think this product falls into the "OK" category. Nothing special but no major problems. The cost is reasonable, although I buy it only when it is on sale.
Eyeliner -Estee Lauder - Automatic Pencil for Eyes in Walnut Brown 09

Every now and then I try a cheaper eye liner, but I always come back to this one. It goes on very smoothly - there is never a need to tug or pull. It blends nicely and stays nicely as well. I also like never having to sharpen the liner stick due to the packaging.
Masks -Yves Rocher - Pineapple Purifying Mask [DISCONTINUED]

This product is cheap, and deservedly so! I'm glad it did not sting my skin the way it has done to some other reviewers, but in short, here's what happened with me: Nothing! I felt nothing (except sticky) when it went on, and I noticed nothing different when I rinsed it off. Would not buy again, and will likely throw it away.
I had tried the original Amarige, and had found it to be too sweet for me. This, however, was a much cleaner, greener scent and I think it is feminine without being too "girly." A keeper. Like some of the others, I found the bottle cap to be too fragile, but I certainly have bought this more than once. The body lotion is very nice as well.
I don't want to disrespect those who love this perfume, but for me it was far too sweet. Cloying was a word used by another reviewer, and I think this is quite apt. My views are ironic in that I loved this fragrance at the store, but ended up feeling uncomfortable while wearing it. I gave the perfume to someone who loved the smell on me so much that she wrote down the name of it while we were speaking at a party. I would not buy it again.
I love the way this product works. It gets my waterproof mascara off without my having to wipe too hard or pull on the eye area. My only quibble is with the packaging. It is necessary to shake the bottle to mix the ingredients before using the product, and this is fine. However, the fit of the lid is a bit odd, and the products always seems to leak a bit during the shake process. This is not a serious enough problem to discourage me from using the product. I buy this regularly, and it is the best eye-make remover I have ever tried.
I use this as my conditioner when I'm staying in and want to give my hair a treatment. I just slather it onto wet hair and let my hair dry any which way it wants to go. This conditioner is very lightweight, so I do not use it as my conditioner when I want to style my hair and go out. Fast Food smell great, and leaves my hair feeling very soft.
This is the best curl-defining product I've found for my naturally curly/frizzy hair. It gets rid of the frizzy aspects and once its on my hair, my hair holds its shape. It's not too heavy, but it does help give the hair some weight so it doesn't fly about in all directions. The price is fine and the packaging is fine. A winner.
This works very well for my coloured, naturally curly hair, especially since my hair tends towards going frizzy, and this helps add some weight to it so it becomes more manageable. I've tried many other conditioners over the years, but I always return to this one when I want to smooth out my curls and/or frizz.
Lipstick -Estee Lauder - Pure Color Lipstick in Hot Kiss

I love the feel and look of this lipstick. I have bought it for myself and have given it as a gift. I will buy it again, too.
Toners -Biotherm - Biosource Softening Toner Alcohol Free
sglll2003 11/11/2004 10:47:00 AM
I bought this along with a biotherm cream cleanser, and when I used them together, I just never felt that my face was truly clean. The products may be fine, but they are not suitable for my combination skin. The toner did not seem to remove residue and I felt no softening effect.
