I love this perfume. I've been wearing it on and off since it was released in 2008. I work casually in the perfume section of a department store, so I smell a lot of perfumes, but for some reason I keep coming back to this one. It really does smell different on different skins so its worth testing it out on your skin before you buy, But I always get a lot of compliments when I wear this!

Liquid -Revlon - ColorStay Makeup

Love this product. After revlon discontinued my shade in one of their other foundations I used I turned to this. I love the colour selection for this range. I'm quite cooled toned, so for me a lot of foundations are way too orange and I end up looking like an oompa loompa. I know a lot of people complain that revlon's shade ranges are always too pink based, but seriously, most other brands are the opposite! I find that this foundation doesn't work for a lot of people, mainly because they dont apply it properly. It does dry quite quickly and if you don't work quickly it can look cakey. I find the best way to apply it is with a stippling brush, I use my sigma F80 and the finsih I get is beautiful. I also find that by using this it gives me a sheerer finish as well, as I don't really need full coverage for my skin. It does have an icky smell but I hardly notice it anymore. And it does what it says, it really does last all day. I have used higher end brands and in the end I still always come back to this as a staple of my makeup bag. It does contain a lot of titanium dioxide which gives a white caste in photos though. I'm a bit torn as to how this perfoms in photos -- on average cameras, yes it does give a castle, but on good quility equipment it actually photographs quite well. i've used this on a couple of shoots and it turned out fine. So in summary, great product once you master how to use it properly!

I love this mascara. It has to be one of the best I've come across. I love the brush and it definately gives more volume to my lashes. More is less with this as well I've found. Will definately repurchase.

Best cream liner I've ever tried. Hands down. Stays put and it doesn't dry out! I've had mine for a year and it's still as good as the day I bought it! I will definately repurchase.

Lipstick -MAC - Viva Glam Cyndi [DISCONTINUED]

I love the colour of this lipstick and it smells gorgeous as well. It's just a really nice berry red that I find works well during the day or at night over a lip liner. The only problem I have with this is that after a while it tends to make my lips a little dry, but nothing that a balm/gloss can't fix. I will definately repurchase.

Bronzers -Too Faced - Pink Leopard Bronzing Powder
rated 5 of 5

I love this product!! Although there has been a lot of debate over whether it is actually a bronzer or a highlighter, I still think it is one of the best products I own. I first was introduced to this when I got it in the Too Faced 'French and Fabulous Palette' - I liked it so much that I went and bought it in the full size. My friends after borrowing mine decided they liked it so much that they bought it too!! When I'm fair in winter I use this as a bronzer, but in summer I mainly use it as a highlighter. One thing I will say is that it is definately more of a night product as sometimes if you apply too much the shimmer can become quite noticeable in the daylight. I also noticed with tis product that when packaged in a smaller size there seems to be more of the brown shade in it, so it works much better as a bronzer. However when I purchased the large size, my brush seemed to pick up more of the pink/gold shimmer which made it more of a highlighter to me. Regardless it is still awesome and I will continue to use it!

Palettes -Too Faced - French and Fabulous
rated 4 of 5
sezza899 4/12/2011 7:19:00 AM

When I first bought this palette I didn't really know what I would use most of the colours for, I just really, really liked the packaging. I was in England at the time and I had never heard of Too Faced before (since then I've only ever seen the brand at the Myer City store in Sydney, Australia). But I must say I really, really like it! Leopard Bronzer - I was really pale at the time when I started use this bronzer. I love it! When I used it all up in this palette I bought it by itself. I must say, now that I'm a bit darker it is really better as a highlight though. I have noticed that when packaged in a smaller size, there seems to be more of the brown shade in it, so it works much better and picks up better on your brush then when it is full sized - as you tend to get more pink. Sun Bunny - use this during summer, love it. Totally toasted beige - I love the lighter of the two, I use it to pat over eyeshadows to give them a glow/light shimmer, or I also just use it by itself. I'll definately repurchase indivdually when it runs out. Totally toasted brown - This is good too. The above are probably the most wearable eyeshadows in the palette. Poodle Puff Raisin - love, love, love this colour. Poodle Puff Pink - a very nice, cool toned pink. Ooh and Aah Black - this was a bit dissappointing to me. It creates so much fall-out!! Mess in a Dress - least wearable colour in the palette. For me this just didn't work, I've hardly even used it and I don't know if I ever will. But overall it's one of my favourite products in my makeup bag!

Makeup Brushes -Sigma - F80 Flat Top Synthetic Kabuki (was SS197)
rated 5 of 5

I'm absolutely in love with this brush! I never really liked conventional foundation brushes so after hearing some god things about this I decided to purchase it from Sigma. I'm in Australia and firstly I must say that Sigma's customer service and postage was excellent, i have since purchased from them again. But onto the brush. This brush is awesome, I love the way that it applies my liquid foundation, I noticed the difference as soon as I started using it. Some of my friends even noticed how nice my foundation was looking after I used it. Unlike most stippling brushes this one is very densely packed which is why it works so well as a buffing brush. Some people that use sheer foundations may have some trouble with this but because by nature, as a stippling brush, it tends to apply foundation sheerer than a normal foundation brush. But I use Revlon Colorstay every now and then, and this works wonders with that. I can get a fairly medium/light coverage with that that still looks amazing. I have also started using it with Graftobian's HD cream foundations on makeup clients and I must say it works like a dream with cream products as well, the end result is air-brushed skin. I will definately be buying some more and my friends even want some too!
