I smelled this on a sample card at the perfume counter this afternoon and thought it was soft and pretty, so I sprayed a bit on my wrist to see how it blends with my skin. Oy. There's something strong and almost sour that's giving me a headache and making my nose and TEETH hurt. I'm giving it 2 lippies because it's been over four hours and it's still going strong. Nothing will wash this off. For those of you who can wear this, I can see how it would be a pretty scent. I, unfortunately, am not one of them.

I couldn't quite nail what I didn't like about this fragrance, but my sister did. It smells like sweet, fruity perfume and cigarettes. So if you love the scent of perfume on a smoker (and a lot of people out there do), this one's for you. But not me. I eventually had to scrub it off. It literally made me nauseous.

In the imp: coffee Wet on my skin: HELLO! My name is Rose! I'm wearing a rose-colored sweater and I live in a rose-colored house on Rose Street and I love picking bunches of roses from my yard and taking them to rosey-cheeked people in my rose-colored car! The world is just so rosey! Drydown: The rose has faded. Now I smell like a candle my grandmother left me when she died. It's in a pretty crystal container and it's listed as Vanilla Spice, and it smells so good that we never burn it but I had to take off the lid and smell it every time I went to her house growing up. The vanilla has come out along with some spices and this is just so pretty. I may have to get a bottle of this just for sentimental reasons.

This is my favorite BPAL scent by far. I can't stand patchouli, but when combined with the other notes in this blend, I can't smell anything but incensy, sexy spices. THIS is the incense I want everything I own to smell like. It's blended so well that I can't pick out any of the notes in particular, except for a bit of heat from the cinnamon. Just plain lovely.

I really like this scent, and I'm not a fan of rose scents. It's roses and citrus fruits and a bit of spice all simmering in a pot. Lovely and decandent and rich.

This smells very similar to Amber Romance from Victoria's Secret, but doesn't bind with your skin and smell up the surrounding area like AR does. Very warm, spicy vanilla fragrance.
