Powder -Neutrogena - mineral sheers mineral powder foundation-fair to light

I hate this stuff. I thought it would be good, since I've heard so many good things about mineral makeup. I was wrong. It covers NOTHING, and when I try to build it up to actually get some coverage, I just end up looking orange. The only good things about this powder is it doesn't make me itch or break out, but a lot of good that does when it doesn't even out my skin. I will NEVER buy this again.
I hate this stuff! I mean, yeah, it tones down the redness of my face, and takes the shine off, but a week after I got it, the cake broke apart. And the shoddy packaging makes it fall out all over everywhere! I'll try to use whatever I haven't lost, but I won't buy it again.
Lipstick -Unlisted Brand - Wild and Crazy Lipstick -- Honey Bun

I got the on sale at CVS for a dollar (reg. $6). The color is a cinnamon-like red, on the deep side of medium. I've been looking for a color like this since I tried Bonne Belle's holiday Lip Lite, Cinnamon Stick. I've had such a hard time finding colors that look good with my hair since I dyed it red. And the best thing is, it's not too warm for my skin!
I love this. It's a lovely nude with an ever so slight pink done to it. It's wonderful! I only wish it was a tad darker though.

I bought this for about $7 at CVS. I thought the coverage was good, and it didn't make my dry skin all itch. *Edit* After some experimenting, I was able to make the "no color" work for me. I think it's all in the blending. Anyone with this color should just practice with it. Just cover your hair, close your eyes and spray it on your face. Then wait a few seconds and blend with a sponge. Hey, works for me, maybe it'll work for you. Strange note: I have some scars on my feet, and for some reason, I decided to see if this stuff would cover it. It did. Not only that, it didn't wash off even when submerged in water. Had to soap up a washcloth to get it off. So, I'm guessing as long as clorine doesn't change things, you could swim in this stuff.
I have this in Vanilla Swirl (a very light shimmery pink) and Cinnamon Stick (a medium brownish pink). I don't think Cinnamon Stick looked glossy in natural light, but like lipstick indoors. Vanilla Swirl is now too pink for me, due to my change in hair color, but looked great with my natural medium/dark brown hair. I'm one of those people who love the smell of these things, especially the cinnamon one. Reminds me of Christmas.
Wow! This is the best eyeshadow I've ever used! After church and lunch with my family (which usually lasts a few hours due to chatting), these colors were still going strong. They're perfect!

I think these shampoos & condioners are great. Maybe not as good as really pricey hair care products, but certainly the most wonderful thing you can get for such a low price.
Shampoo -Clairol - Herbal Essences for Dry/Damaged /Color Treated Hair

I started using this after Head & Shoulders started making my hair look greasy. The longer I leave it on, the better my hair feels and the easier it is to style. Based on the reviews, it's obviously not for everyone, but I love it.
Mascara -Cover Girl - Remarkable Washable Waterproof Mascara

I hate this stuff! Sure, if I try really hard, I can make my lashes look decent, but it's took much work. I may have gotten an old tube or something, but it was so clumpy, and seemed to stick to the top of the wand. The last CG mascara I bought did the same after a week or two. All I have to say is, what happened to CG? Their mascaras used to be a good option, but not anymore.

For a while, this was great. I could actually SEE my short little lashes. But after about two weeks, it got really clumpy and stuck to the top of the wand. I just couldn't get it to look right. I wouldn't suggest this to anyone.
I just bought this tonight in classic ivory. I haven't gotten a chance to test it in natural light, but it seems to match my skin really well, even though it's a tad bit too peachy for me (my skin is a small bit on the cool side). It's better than the super pink of CG though. It's a little dry on my dry skin, but then again, I didn't moisterize first like I normally do just before my foundation. Overall, I love it. It's the closest match I've found to my skin tone. EDIT: I took it down to a three because it's making me break out. It also seems like it's getting darker for some reason. Maybe I'm not shaking it enough. Anyway, I'll either put up with it til it's gone or trade (I hate waste), but I won't be buying again.
I got this in Latte Honey on sale for around $2.50. It smells kinda like Teddy Grahams. It lasts pretty long and has a nice shine. I just wish there was more of it in the tube. I'll be buying it again.
I remember this from my childhood and I loved it! It was my favorite! But I can't find it anywhere! ~_~ I hope beyond all hopes they didn't discontinue it!
Lip Gloss -Bonne Bell - Lip Smacker in Gum Ball Galaxy
selenapoet 2/2/2004 12:29:00 PM
I got this in a pack of six, and I didn't really think I'd like this. But it's really nice. It does smell like gum balls, and it tastes better. There is a bit of grit, but it's barely there and not annoying enough to matter. I probably won't be buying this again though.
