I normally don't wear lipstick. I'm more of a lip gloss, lip stain gal or just plain old vaseline. I tried looking for a nude pinkish peach lipstick to try and found Sephora's line. I purchased G19 which is Innocent Beige, a sheer light peach nude. The product, surprisingly, glides on extremely well! It's very creamy, moisturizing and sheer with a nice, subtle sweet scent. The color itself is alright. I went through a lot of shades to find one right for me and this one seemed suitable on my skin. It was sheer enough and didn't have too much sparkles. Perhaps I'm just inexperienced with picking the perfect shade to match my skin tone since this is my first nude lipstick. However, the color is nice - more nude peach than pink. The heavier I apply it, the more pastel nude it is. I find if I put one layer on, the color is fine and the longer I'm wearing it throughout the day, I feel it adjusts more to match my skin tone! I will definetly purchase this brand again. As for the color, I may try a different shade from the Sephora line since I was so pleased with the results. As for a nude lipstick, I may venture out to another brand to find what else is out there for me!
I normally put vaseline on my lips to keep them moisturized because I like the consistency and texture of it. It gives a nice sheen and isn't greasy. Boscia's Jujube Salve Stick is the next best thing to Vaseline for lips. Most other chapsticks or lip balms make my lips peel and flakey after applying, but this keeps my lips soft and moisturized! It's not greasy at all, gives a subtle sheen that doesn't look oily and has no weird chemical flavors. It goes on clear, even though the product has a nice nude pink tinge to it. I also love the fact that it's part of a natural line! I like how it's a great alternative to bring along with me!
After trying Clinique's toner I was weary of using toners ever again. I tried Lush's toner as well but didn't feel it was necessary to continue the regime. I bought this in a kit and I love how it works! It doesn't sting, it's refreshing, no harsh chemicals or smell and most importantly, it calms the redness in my face and a few minutes after it dries, my skin is matte! Will buy again for sure.
I bought this in a kit and the tiny travel sized bottle has lasted me more than 2 months! All you need is a little pump and it lathers up very well. Somedays it leaves my skin a bit tight and dry but other days my skin seems normal and non-oily. I noticed some reviewers saying the Botanical Blast cleanser gave them breakouts on their chin. I have had a few breakouts on my chin the past 2 weeks and I'm wondering if it has something to do with the line...or just my eating habits. But I will continue using this product and will purchase again since it gives me a nice clean feeling without the harsh chemicals.
I bought this at Sephora in a kit. It goes on very well and absorbs quickly. There isn't a strong fragrance and I like how it's preservative free. I noticed the difference about 10 minutes after applying it. In the morning, my skin was non-oily and noticeably soft and smooth! I haven't used it long enough to see if it will even our skin tone since I do have some scarring from pimples. Will definetly purchase again.
I purchased this after trying the sample. I love how it smells, very citrusy. It goes on the skin feeling a bit sticky but eventually soaks in. I put it on after toning with Tea Tree Water and before my makeup. It seems to make my makeup settle better I guess thanks to its matte qualities. I don't normally use moisturizers because my skin is so oily but this product makes my skin less oily throughout the day. I guess it just delays the time before I get oily again. I was a bit shocked with the price for such a small container..so I'm pretty frugal with applying it. I would purchase again, if I wasn't broke. *EDIT* I would not purchase again because the lotion started smelling bad, even before the expiry date. It wasn't pleasant to put on because of the chemical odor, and plus I discovered another lotion: Imperialis.
I never use toners. I've always had acne-prone skin and was always told to cleanse, tone and moisturize in that order. So I tried the Clinique 3-step system and HATED IT. After using their toner, it soured my experience with all. It burned my skin and left it bright red and shiny. I stopped using it. So I received a sample of this toner and liked it so much I went back to purchase the whole bottle. I like how it contains the antibacterial ingredients of tea tree, yet it's gentle enough that it doesn't burn my skin or make it red. The fragrance is lightly scented and tolerable. The SA told me that she puts it above her face and sprays letting the mist hit. I tried that and I think it's only good for refreshing purposes. I think if I were to spray the product on, it would just evaporate off my face instead of soaking in my pores. So I apply it with a cotton pad. I don't know if it's the combination of Fresh Farmacy and Tea Tree Water, but I guess it tightens my pores a bit and leaves my skin soft. I use it during day time and night. Will repurchase this particular product again until one day I find out that toners really don't do jack for my skin. But until then, I'll continue to use it thinking it really is working since it feels nice on my skin.
This product was the first facial product I tried from LUSH. I read reviews and just purchased a small 5 dollar block of it, nevermind sampling it first, I had that much faith in this product. I will definetly repurchase this product again. It smelled a little strong for me at first, but I've grown accustomed to the smell. After washing it, my face feels CLEAN. A bit drying but I don't mind since my face will get oily in a few hours. It dries out the pimples well and it calms the redness in my skin. I have old blemishes and acne brown scars and it really reduces the visibility of it, which I love! I think that's probably the number one reason why I'll repurchase is because of the soothing calamine lotion that reduces my redness, plus it's all natural. Can't go wrong.
Self Tanners -Banana Boat - Everyday Glow-Daily Moisturizer in Medium Skin

This is the second self tanner I've tried. Good price (5-6 bucks) and it smells like sunscreen going on, however when I wake up the next morning, I can smell the self-tanner stench that reminds me of piss. I had a warm tone after the first use, one bottle lasted me about 2 weeks. Around the 4th day I got to a nice honey brown color, however I never went darker after that. It seemed to stay at that plateau. Not streaky at all, except around the ankles and wrists but that was very light and unnoticeable. Overall a decent product to get if you're on a budget. It felt a bit sticky on my skin after applying it but I did feel a slight moisturizing quality about the product. I'm going to try the Dove version since the smell is more appealing. But other than that, I'd purchase this again.
This is the first self tanner I've purchased. I wasn't satisfied at all. In fact it's just sitting in my cabinet. It streaks a bit around the arms and ankles and it gives an orange glow and it smells like piss to me. It leaves my body with a sticky feeling. The smell doesn't go away either...I remember applying it on the night before and the next day wondering what the hell smelled like piss. It was me. Will NOT purchase again.
