Love love love love. Oddly, I've been going through this obsession with makeup that makes you look better but like it's not even there. So, being olive skinned, golds golds golds (i think summer has to do with this) and more golds! As you can tell, warm metals have been my go to when looking at makeup and this is just beautiful for tan skinned ladies to add that bronze goddess look and bit of shading to make eyes pop. I use it to line my entire eye, then take a small shadow brush and just dust the paste onto the outer corners of my eyes, fading it into the crease. It gives the eyes a very light, unnoticeable, naturally beautiful dimension, as opposed to harsh browns and blacks. Wonderful constancy (the best of all the fluidlines in imp) and fabulous for every day use. don't be bummed if you're not a blue-eyed gal, my naturally darker ladies! This offers you a metallically fabulous eye look.

Just absolutely gorgeous. Perfect for using on your lower lashline to give yourself that...yeah I got enough sleep and the sun really is shining from under me even though it's 2 pm kinda look. I think it works wonderfully on olive, tan skintones. Just makes you look like a bronze goddess.

Good stuff. Makes the acne go away and keeps it away.....but makes my face an oil pit all the same. Not sure why it does this to my skin, but it ends up making my face look even more gross than with the acne.

I hardly even considered writing a review for this product, considering all the flourishing reviews of it on mua. But alas, I had to. It's too good. It may seem pricey at first, but it lasts......FOR EVER. I can't even remember how long I've had mine. The FIRST one I've bought. It's really a quality investment that's well worth it. And I'm not just preaching, oh it's brand name so it's better quality - it truly lasts forever.

Absolutely gorgeous. I'm pretty tan, and wearing this to its full building potential makes me look like an alien. However, one sheer swipe of this on my lips and I look like twiggy from the 60s. I'm obsessed with nude lips as some girls would die for that perfect red shade. I've tried tons of nudes and this just has a wonderful formulation that would work for any skin color. And by goodness do I love my Gaga

Scrubs -Neutrogena - Clear Pore Daily Scrub
rated 3 of 5

Not a bad product, but the menthol in this isn't something acne prone individuals should put on their face. I find neutrogena scrubs really are bland and don't have the effect on skin that other scrubs do. Other than that, this formulation really is unique as the below review said. I like it's benzoyl peroxide, clay base, but I do think that there are better things out there

This is definitely the best inexpensive scrub for the body. I would not recommend using this on the face though - I find it just makes me oily. It can help a bit with smoothing body breakouts a bit, but there are definitely better things out there.

Treatments -Clean & Clear - Persagel 10

Let me start out by saying that i actually use the target brand version of this. It's way less expensive but works marvelously well. I've tried numerous acne remedies and treatments but this is magic. Just a gentle face wash, this cream on acne prone areas, and cetaphil cream works magic. I'm left with smooth, soft, clear, glowy skin! The only con is that it leaves a whitish cast if not properly and quickly rubbed it, but that can be resolved by just applying the cetaphil cream (im in love with this stuff). My acne consists mainly of whiteheads and blackheads, but this also prevents inflamed zits like its nobody's business. You might flake a bit in the beginning, but the proactiv toner works well in removing the shedding, as well as biore's anti blackhead cream cleanser, the cetaphil cream really controls it as well. But after the first few weeks or so, it won't be a problem anymore. Gradually, the peeling as well as the oil reducing and antibacterial effect of the benzoyl peroxide will reveal soft, clear skin! The key with any treatment is patience. I experienced no intitial breakout with this bp, of course I did get some zits within the first few weeks that were lurking but,, in time, they went away. I still sometimes breakout in an inflamed zit on my period or when i overinduldge is soy and sugary goods...but other than that - white heads are dead! Definitely recommend

Polishes -Essie - Playa Del Platinum
rated 5 of 5
sdr95 12/24/2010 1:49:00 PM

I actually got this on a closeout sale in one of my outlet malls, so it wasn't really pricey at all. I love essie brand nail polish and this does not fail to deliver the quality i expect. The polish lasts forever in the bottle, I've had it for so long. My OPI nail polishes always get so goopy and weird after a while in the bottle, even though they are fantastic when they're brand new. Anyways, I'm obsessed with this color. I'm one of those girls who likes things weird and edgy but classy at the same time. I think obnoxious colored polishes are so overdone and really, just not unique anymore. This polish color is so subtle yet so different it's perfect for me. It's a very similar (yet a much cheaper) version of Lady Gaga's gray colored polish on the cover of vanity fair. Anyways, this color is perfect those who are edgy, yet simple and classic. The gray color is perfect for anyone, any outfit, any season. - now that's real fashion. Classy, yet edgy and unique

Skincare - Face -Unlisted Brand - Turmeric
rated 5 of 5
sdr95 12/23/2010 5:06:00 PM

My goodness, i don't know what mother nature did to this beautiful plant to make it so wonderful. Possibly the curcumin in it...but even science isn't entirely sure. Nothing...absolutely nothing else works on a forming zit better than this. No matter what, if the blemish isn't raised yet, perhaps just a bit of a sensitive spot or even just red, dab this on for a few hours....and it'll never come up. It'll go away within a day or two and done. However, if the zit's already formed and full, this won;t work, but acknowledging the science of acne, it makes sense. It truly astonishes me....this long held ancient indian tradition is marvelous. It also adds a fabulous glow for those with darker, more neutral skin tones. Not only is turmeric have antioxidant benefits, but it's majorly anti-inflammatory and works as a disinfectant. I think all these aspects also contribute to its magic. Just.....really...miraculous. Only think you can hope for is that your at home when you notice the small blemish....or else it might become too late.

Cleansers -Oxy - Oxy 10 Balance Maximum Strength Acne Wash
rated 3 of 5
sdr95 12/4/2010 3:14:00 PM

This product is great for those with more inflamed acne. It does get rid of noninflamed acne to some extent, but I've used products that get rid of it better. I prefer to use 10 percent bp gels instead. This face wash did work well enough that i used the entire bottle, but like i said, just not well enough. Definitely try it if you have more pustules than whiteheads and blackheads, otherwise, don't. It doesn't try out skin as long as you follow up with a good moisturizer - my favorite being Cetaphil Moisturizing Cream.

FANTASTIC!....Like....I can't even explain. I'm so picky with what I use on my face because anything can break it out, but this stuff? Pft no! It controls ALL the flakiness caused by bp. Perfect for acne prone individuals. Even Acne.org's moisturizer can't beat this, and this is so much cheaper. I got it at Bjs for 10 dollars for 20 ounces of product. Not to mention that you don't even need to use a dime sized. It never makes me greasy and provides instant relief. I also put a little in my hair after shampooing because conditioners break me out, which equals smooth, shiny, no frizz strands. It also works as fantastically as those other expensive eye creams, but dirt cheap.....too much love right now....I did say I would repurchase, but it'll be a long time till then!

Foundations -Maybelline - Dream Matte Mousse

Actually fantastic foundation. Unfortunately, I break out easily with products and this is no exception. It tends to cause a bunch of little whiteheads. if you're not acne prone, this foundation is the absolute best.....all my female family members who are adults use them. Luckily, their skin grew out of the teenage acne so they have no issues with it. It really creates a flawless finish.

Treatments -Aussie - 3 Minute Miracle Deeeeep

I've used the sydney smooth version of this. They don't make that version anymore unfortunately, but it's kind of godly. It's marvelous for any hair type. However, I do recommend using it in moderation. If used too much, I noticed my hair kind of gets ove-rconditioned and looks sort of straw-like. Otherwise, better than all of those overpriced "argan" products. edit: It's the only conditioner I use now and it's marvelous! It's combination of emulsifiers are fabulous for smoothing hair (chemically speaking) and it doesn't make me breakout! I noticed in Target the other day that they started selling bundles of it again. yesssssss!!!
