This is a great product. It's lightweight, helps with detangling and moisturizes very well. But for some reason it makes my eyes burn when my hair is wet. So I won't repurchase.
Shampoo -Aubrey Organics - J.A.Y. Desert Herb Shampoo

I hated the fishy, herbal smell of this product. It is strong, but it doesn't linger. I would have put up with the smell if this was an exceptional shampoo. However, this one made my hair hard and tangly. I had to use a ton of AO jojoba and aloe conditioner to get my hair soft again. The only good thing I have to say about this shampoo is that it did not irritate my sensitive scalp.
In general, this is a good conditioner. It doesn't have silicones, so if you are looking for extreme slip look elsewhere. My hair does well without silicones, so I was able to detangle with minimal problems. I like the thick texture, and the fact that it is very emollient. I have type 4 hair, and this conditioner makes it very soft and well conditioned. However, I am not fond of the floral smell. It is a little on the strong side, and it lingers a bit. I would definately repurchase though.
Conditioner -Nature's Gate - Tea Tree Oil Conditioner

This conditioner has a nice, minty smell and it is thick and creamy. But it isn't moisturizng enough and I could only use it for conditioner washing. It irritated my scalp, and that is the reason why I decided not to repurchase.
This has a light, barely noticible smell but it is extremely greasy and it is not soluble in water at all. I think it similar to smearing crisco on my face. I have to tissue it off. I am going to keep it and try it again in the winter to see if I notice a difference.
This isn't a bad product, but I am allergic to it. It has witch hazel in it, and witch hazel makes my skin itch very badly. Anyway, it has a nice light rose smell and it doesn't make my skin sticky. It has alcohol in it but I didn't dry my skin out.
I really liked how this cleanser worked at first. It cleans well, yet it didn't dry out my skin. However it has a strong lemongrass smell, and I HATE the smell of lemongrass. And I am mildly allergic to it too. After a while I couldn't take the smell anymore and I began to get an itchy rash. So I gave it to my sister. If they came out with a lemongrass free version of this, I would repurchase it again in a heartbeat.
Conditioner -L'Oreal - Feria Color Moisturizing Treatment.

This conditioner is light and it has a slick, silky texture. I like the smell. And it detangles relatively well, which I bet is because of the silicone in it. However my hair is too thirsty for this product. It doesn't moisturize enough for me. It isn't a bad product though.
This is an interesting book, and it made me question whether or not the cosmetics industry had my best interests at heart. I guess it made me more aware and less vulnurable the the false claims companies make, but otherwise this book is o.k. There are very little makeup reccomendations I can use because she is obsessed with dull matte makeup, and reccomendations of foundation for deep brown skin are sparse. So in that respect this book wasn't much help. She also praises benzoyl peroxide as being the gentlest disinfecting acne treatments, but I have found this to be totally untrue (atleast for my skin). And some of the products she raves about gave me serious irritation and/or breakouts. In conclusion this book doesn't make shopping for skincare and cosmetics any easier for me. And her hair products book isn't much help either. I don't think I will be purchasing any more of her books, because finding good products is all about trial and error.
Moisturizers -Clean & Clear - Oil-Free Dual Action Moisturizer

This is not greasy and it soaks in well. However it has a strong lemongrass/ citrus smell that annoys me and it has something in it that makes my skin tingle, which I do not like at all. My search for a good night time moisturizer continues...
This is a shampoo alternative for dry hair. It has an interesting mint/rose smell that is pleasant, and it is thick and creamy. It leaves a light residue, but it when my hair dries I don't notice it at all. This is not for those with oily scalps at all.
Styling Products -Neutrogena - Triple Moisture Healing Shine Serum

This was okay. It moisturized a little and it had okay slip. It was not as bad as the rest of the triple moisture line, but I am not impressed enough to repurchase.
This did absoluely nothing for my hair. It is too light, almost like I have nothing in my hair. Even when I used tons of it. I tried using this with the serum and it still gave me mediocre results.
Conditioner -Neutrogena - triple moisture deep recovery hair mask

I loved the smell of this for some strange reason, but I wished it worked for me. It made my hair soft until I rinse, then my hair was hard and tangly. I even tried clarifying before I used it, but it still gave me subpar results.
Conditioner -Garnier - Fortifying Deep Conditioner 3 Minute Masque

This was a decent conditioner. It's good as a daily conditioner. I like the fruity smell and smooth texture too. It's not my favorite but I would repurchase. Update: I bought this again and I HATED it this time. It didn't detangle well and the smell was awful! It was like I used a totally different conditioner. My hair felt so dry afterwards I had to condition it with another conditioner. And I only got one use out of the jar.
