Primer/ Corrector -Laura Mercier - Foundation Primer Radiance

I'm on my second tube of this because I love it that much. This product gives my skin that flawless glow and I like using it under my mineral powder foundation. For me, the combination of using this and Mary Kay mineral powder foundation is a winner! The only thing I don't like it the packaging because for some reason the cover keeps popping off.

Never thought I'd like a blue so much on my hands. It's the perfect teal for summer! Great formula too. Glides on smooth and even and not too thick.

Really love the barbie pink color, but really hated the formula of this nail polish. I found that when I applied nail polish thinner, the formula became much more workable. So for those who hated the formula like I did, try adding thinner so that the formula's not so thick. Really love the color too :)

I've gotten so many compliments when I wore this for the first time! It's the perfect spring shade for March if you've got olive skin tone like me. Very thick formula, but if you're patient with it and let it dry all the way it will last. It's been about 4 days and still hasn't chipped yet.

Lipstick -MAC - I love winter
rated 5 of 5

I got this with the MAC winter collection on a whim, and I'm so glad I did! It's the perfect lipstick that looks natural but still adds color to my lips and makes them look healthy. I wish it wasn't a limited edition shade, otherwise I'd definitely purchase again!

Concealers -Givenchy - Mister Light

I really like this product, but as a poor college student I find the price to be a little too steep. I also don't like that the applicator wastes the product that is leftover and dried in the brush head. Other than that though, this is the best concealer I've ever used. It doesn't settle into the fine lines under the eyes, and really brightens up my eye area. Just wished it was cheaper! If anyone knows a good dupe, please let me know

This is my new must-have in my makeup collection. I LOVE using this to set my mary kay mineral foundation and to also refresh my face. Water can't do the same thing, enough said.

Eyeliner -Urban Decay - 24-7 Glide-On Eye Pencil in Zero
rated 3 of 5

I was expecting so much more from this eyeliner. While it is very pigmented, it still tugs on my eyes and didn't glide on as smoothly as I had hoped for. I'll probably stick with gel liners for life. The only use I like this for is to like my lower waterline. I'll never use it for my upper lashline again.

Eye Shadow -Urban Decay - Naked Palette
rated 5 of 5

OMG where have you been all my life?! This palette just might replace my love for MAC eyeshadows. I'm kicking myself for spending so much money building up my mac palette when all I need is this from now on! I've been waiting since November to get this and it finally became available on the sephora website again. First of all, the pigmentation of all the shadows are excellent! Just a little swipe and I have a LOT of color on my fingertips! I have had it for about a week now and I am amazed at the endless beautiful looks I can create with this palette. Some of my favorite looks are: Sin on the lid, toasted on the outer lid, and hustle in the crease with virgin as a highlighter for a daytime school look. For sexy smoky eyes at night, I LOVE gunmetal all over the lid, darkhorse in the crease, blended around the edges with naked, and half baked in the inner lid a little on top of the gunmetal. Half baked also looks good on the lid with smog in the crease and darkhorse in the outer v. I like that naked and buck are matte colors and are great blending out colors. I use buck to fill in my eyebrows and it's comparable to mac's espresso. I feel like naked is similar to mac's wedge and sin to mac's all that glitters. I love playing around with this palette. This is my favorite makeup purchase by FAR

Eye Shadow -MAC - Vex

I am so in LOVE with this shadow it's not even funny. It's by far my favorite go-to lid color for everyday. I feel like I can pair this with any crease color and it will look amazing. It looks AMAZING with copperplate in the crease and a dark matte shade in the outer v. I'm gonna try this with Humid in the crease tomorrow and see how it turns out!

Eye Shadow -MAC - Satin Taupe
rated 5 of 5
saxgurl231 12/12/2010 9:49:00 PM

For the longest time I held off buying this because I owned NYX's "Iced Mocha" and thought it was a dupe for this. Boy was I wrong! When swatched side by side, satin taupe has more of a purple undertone and it looks AMAZING with my brown eyes. I actually prefer using this because it's so much more versatile in my opinion. For a Kardashian smoky eye, I pack this all over the lid with wedge in the crease and a darker shade in the outer v such as espresso or carbon. I also like using this in the crease with a lighter color on the lid such as naked lunch or all that glitters. Will repurchase when I run out!

I'm from Hawaii, and now that I live in California I will go out of my way to drive to an asian market just to buy this! Absolutely cannot live without this washcloth. It's the only thing that makes me feel absolutely clean after I shower. I will use this forever.

Eye Shadow -MAC - Embark eye shadow
rated 3 of 5
saxgurl231 10/15/2010 10:32:00 PM

for a long time i didn't like this shadow.... it was too red for me to use in the crease. however, i finally found the perfect way to use it today! i love mixing it with espresso and packing it all over the lid and gradually fading it out into the crease for a perfect brown daytime smoky eye! i found that mixing it with a true brown tones down the red and for some reason it just looks better on my lid than the crease

Eye Shadow -NYX - Champagne
rated 5 of 5
saxgurl231 9/29/2010 1:02:00 AM

I bought this eyeshadow over a year ago, and still have plenty left! Idk if this is comparable to Mac's All That Glitters, since I've never swatched them side by side, but I'll tell you one thing: even when I run out of this, I don't think I'll be buying All That Glitters. For one, you get twice as much product with Champagne, and two, it's soooo much cheaper! This shows up as a pretty neutral that I use on my lids almost everyday for school. I'm in a professional program for graduate school, so my makeup has to be "conservative." This neutral is a must-have in my collection. Whenever I have to travel and can only take a small amount of makeup with me, I always have this in my kit. This is the best neutral lid color for me! Love pairing this up with browns in the crease. Perfect neutral eye

Eyes -MAC - Paint Pot in Rubenesque
rated 4 of 5
saxgurl231 9/25/2010 8:40:00 PM

I bought this with high hopes, as I have been eyeing this color for a long time. The only reason I returned it is because the color is very similar to expensive pink (which I already have) and it doesn't show up that well on my skin. However, if you like the neutral and subtle look, this is great! Like any other paint pot, it stays in place all day and holds shadows well. I just think that I needed a matte paint pot since I already own bare study and indianwood
