Not worth it. I had to switch to the Light after finding out that Moroccan Oil causes brassiness in blonde hair. The Light is nothing like the regular product - I was having to use twice the amount and still not getting the same results. Not worth the price when it's $40 a bottle and you're going through one bottle a month! Due to this issue I'm off the Moroccan Oil boat and using Redken's Argan oil. It's much better.

Very impressed with this product! I have thin, damaged hair with a lot of breakage. My hair tends to look rough so I previously used Moroccan Oil to curb the rough look, until I discovered it has a tendency to turn blonde hair brassy (I am a bottle blonde). I switched to Moroccan Oil light but found it lacked the potency of the original. This product was recommended to me as a strong alternative to Moroccan Oil without the worry of brassiness. It doesn't instantly smooth wet hair quite the way Moroccan Oil does, but I find after blow drying my hair stays softer and smoother for longer than with Moroccan. The packaging is OK but I don't like the nozzle - I have to angle the bottle in an odd way to make sure the liquid hits my palm and not the side of the bottle. I would not recommend this product to those with oily or very thin hair. Although my hair is considered thin I have a lot of it and it is very dead so it needs the moisture this stuff gives.

Palettes -Stila - In The Light Palette

Loving some of the eyeshadows in this palette! I have this one and an Urban Decay one - between the two I have no need for any other eyeshadows. I use this one for everyday/work, and the UD one when I need to spice things up. The packaging is a pain - it's difficult to keep the lid open when you're applying colours and I don't like that the eyeshadow names aren't written below the eyeshadows (names are on a book and on the back of the case - but I'm afraid I may lose both of these and not be able to use the book of ideas :s). Favourite colour is the second from the left, top row. Such a gorgeous base colour that goes with just about any other colour, including my UD intense ones. Overall, impressive and good for a gal who wants variety in her everyday base eyeshadows (or someone who wears a lot of browns).

I absolutely love China Glaze nail polishes. They are better than O.P.I. and almost half the price! This colour is awesome. Green nail polish is very in right now but it's hard to find the right colour. This colour is amazing. So bright and vibrant. I am Caucasian with blonde hair, but I tan a lot so my skin is a light-medium - however, I saw an Indian friend of mine with a similar colour and it looked amazing on her too. If you're looking for a trendy green nail polish I highly recommend this one!

Shampoo -Clairol - Shimmer Lights

Best purple shampoo going! Unlike most other purple shampoos, where you need to wash your hair with normal shampoo in addition to the purple stuff, you can use this one as a regular shampoo. I colour my hair a light-medium blonde from brown with red undertones - hair dressers are constantly killing themselves to get my hair the right colour. Nothing I've tried has been able to maintain the blonde I want quite like this stuff. And it's so much cheaper than all the others. Hair dressers don't even have to use a toner on my hair when I get it coloured any more!!!!!

Treatments -Moroccanoil - Morrocan Oil Treatment

I have a love/hate (mostly love) relationship with Moroccan Oil. Sometimes it works miracles on my hair while sometimes I find it doesn't do all that much to help my hair, which is long and can get scraggly and difficult. Overall though, it's the best leave-in treatment I've tried - worth the price. Oh, and the packaging bothers me. I know it comes with two caps but DON'T EVER transport it with the pump cap! I know it should go without saying given it comes with two caps but I couldn't find the screw on cap and it spilled in my bag! No damage to other products but the stuff is worth so much money you don't want to spill a drop! One bottle has lasted me about 4 months now - and I'm about 3/5ths of the way through the bottle. Do the math. Worth the price.

I have such a difficult time finding a good tube mascara. Used to use Texas Lash by Cargo but Sephora in Canada no longer carries it (and ones I've found elsewhere aren't the same thing!). This one is just OK. It is a tube mascara, which I love, but it doesn't extend and plump my lashes the way Texas Lash did. Soooooo looking for a good tube mascara to replace Texas!!!!

This is a heavy-duty concealer that covers almost anything. I think I'm a little weird - I use this to cover up my imperfections (dark under-eye circles, a few pimples) and then use Smashbox tinted moisturizer as a foundation. I find that thanks to the combination my skin looks better than it ever has before in photographs and whenever I leave the house.
