I love this brush! My old brush was cheap and snagged my hair so I decided I needed an upgrade. I came across this brush and I'm in love with it. It is great for detangling my mess of hair in the morning. I have long and thick hair that gets tangled easily... despite how straight it is. The balls at the end of the bristles are great for a head massage.
Foundations -Urban Decay - Surreal Skin Mineral Makeup

I love this foundation! I usually don't use foundation because I was afraid of clogging up my skin, but an SA at the Urban Decay counter at Macy's made me try it and I loved it. It makes me skin look more even and looks really natural. It feels light and doesn't look shiny like BE does. I puff on the mineral powder onto my face and then even it out with a brush so it's not caked on at a spot. It makes my skin look healthy and I love it!
I love this fragrance! I was looking for a new fragrance to try out, since I just love smelling pretty. My roommate is addicted to Yves Saint Laurent and so when I took her to Sephora, we started testing out all the YSL fragrances. This fragrance is pretty and girly, a mixture of flowery and fruity, and it's not overbearing. Great for the day time!
Eyeliner -Urban Decay - 24-7 Glide-On Eye Pencil in Deviant

I love this pencil. I also have Zero and Covet. This is a beautiful shade of blue, and I much prefer this blue as opposed to Electric. The texture is creamy and easy to draw on the waterline, but it's harder to use for tightlining, it does get caught in the eyelashes like someone previously said, but none the less, it's a beautiful color and I love all the UD eyeliners.
I LOVE this brush! I gave up on mark items a couple of years ago because I never liked any of their stuff, but while on the hunt for cheap eyeshadow brushes, I came across this one and decided to say "why not?" I'm so glad I bought them! The brush is soft, but picks up the right amount of shadow that blends perfectly. It's a lot softer than my $18 Sephora brush, and does the same job.
Cleansers -Philosophy - the microdelivery exfoliating wash
sat4ngurl 10/10/2008 5:41:00 PM
I love this exfoliator! The beads are small and it dissolves so it gently rubs away dead skin and doesn't scratch it like some other exfoliators do. It's gentle enough to be used every day and it makes my skin feel really soft and clean after using it. I used this at night and use Purity in the morning. The price is a bit steep and the cleanser smells a little funny... but the smell doesn't stay on your face.
Eye Makeup Remover -Lancome - Bi-Facil Double Action Eye Make-up Remover
sat4ngurl 9/15/2008 5:25:00 PM
I absolutely LOVE this product!!!! It wipes away my eye makeup without stinging my eye at all, unlike all the other eye makeup removers that I use. It's gentle and effective. It's a bit pricey... but it's so worth it >.<
The blush applies really well and blends really well. The color is a soft pink hue, nothing too dramatic, looks very natural on my fairly light skin. The only problem I would have with it is the cinnamon smell. I didn't know what it was at first and then I took a sniff of my finger and realized that it was the cheek stain. I wouldn't recommend this if the fragrant products turns you off.
Lotions/ Creams -Avon - Moisture Therapy Hand Cream
sat4ngurl 8/14/2008 5:37:00 AM
This is a good hand cream for its price. It's not as smooth as I hoped it would be and it feels a bit sticky but it works well, just needs some drying time.
I love this color... in the pot anyway. It's a gorgeous shade of dark blue that I used to match my prom dress... only thing is, this does not apply at ALL. The color that goes on is glitter. The blue does not show up at all. I was so disappointed. I then used it on top of a primer... and the color goes on matte and doesn't blend well. I wanted this shadow because of the shimmery midnight blue. I prefer Napoleon's Ultra Pearl #55, it does a better job even if it's not as dark in color.
Crap brush. -_-" What a waste of $1. I could have bought a bag of chips that would have given me more satisfaction. It is completely useless... it's less rough than the face brush... but it does absolutely nothing for me. I tried to use it to blend my eyeshadow together but my eyeshadow did not budge... it is too loose to even use as a good shadow brush. Maybe I'll give it to my cousin and let her use it as a paint brush... I doubt it'll be useful to her either...
*Sigh* What can I expect from a $1 brush... I should have checked reviews on MUA as opposed to listening to the reviews on the ELF website... The brush hairs are red... when I first got it, i washed it with my Clinique brush cleaner (awesome, btw) and color started coming off the brush and onto my tissue. I was automatically turned off by that. Then hairs started flaking off... not that much but still it bothered me. It doesn't pick up pigments all that great... The brush is pretty uneven, and the bristles are too hard and prickly... and my face is not that sensitive. The only thing I can say that I like about this product is the pearly white handle...
Highlighters -E.L.F. - Healthy Glow Bronzing Powder - Luminance
sat4ngurl 6/25/2008 5:40:00 AM
I thought this was going to be good because of the good reviews on the ELF website... The powder came in a small compact... with a sweep of their all over face brush power flew everywhere! Maybe I should have gotten a darker shade but I'm fairly light skinned and the color did not really show up on my skin. I was hoping for a light shimmer... but I got nothing. Like others have said before me, it's too light to be a bronzer... it doesn't even highlight for me... it's too light to even show up on my skin! It's really messy to apply... and the product is not really compact. I have yet to experience it cracking... probably because it just sits on my shelf... but I have to be very careful when I'm applying it because product gets all over my shirt. Luckily... it's only $1, otherwise I was going to be mad. I received only 9/12 of my order. I did not receive the 3 eyeshadow brushes! And those were the main reasons I even made this order! I am still waiting for them to credit my account...
This mascara made my lashes fuller and longer with one coast... It just flakes and clumps like crazy. The brush is pretty big... which sometimes make it hard because my lashes are short and I'm constanly afraid I'll poke my eyes out. It doesn't smudge either... that's a plus. It's a decent mascara... but for the price ($19 USD) I prefer to stick to my Stila Major Lash.
I HATE the smell of this... on me anyway. It smells way too overbearingly sweet. Maybe it's just my personal taste and that I'm more into florals than wanting to smell like candy... I want to eat the bottle more than I wanted to ever spray it on myself. I feel like I would attract ants walking around smelling like Burnt Sugar.
