Shampoo -L'Oreal - EverPure Sulfate-free Color Care Shampoo

Have been using this daily for 9 months and I do love it. I must say that the first time I tried this, I absolutely hated it. The smell was a bit strange and I could not get used to how hard it is to lather (my first time trying a sulphate free shampoo). But I must have gotten over the smell and got used to lathering it and somehow just really like this product now. I wash my hair twice a day and this shampoo is light enough for it. Yet, it is also strong enough to clean my hair (you can tell how particular I am about the cleanliness of my hair as I have always washed it twice a day). It retains the colour of my hair dye fairly well. And the price is quite reasonable for a shampoo of this quality. Another thing I like about this shampoo is that is does not leave a residue which I think the other Loreal elvive shampoo does. My hair feels light even after months of using this shampoo. There are not a lot of colour care shampoos in the market and so far, this is my favourite.
Treatments (Eye) -The Body Shop - Moisture White Eye Serum
sassysaturdays 11/29/2012 11:27:00 AM
I like the consistency of this product. Perfect for my combination and slightly oilier skin. It is light and not too heavy (which will cause oil spots). I have fine lines under my eyes and this does seem to help. So I would recommend it as a light moisturizing eye serum if that is what you are looking for. But I don't see a difference with my dark eye rings. I got this on a discount, so for the price I have paid, I am not too disappointed. But I think there are definitely better products out there, so I will be shopping around for a better eye serum very soon.
A good and reliably water proof mascara. Recommended for its price, being very water proof and reasonable consistency (holds a curl and thickens and lengthens). The downside is that it cannot define each lash. Could be a bit clumpy if it gets dried up. I have tried other brilliant mascaras which have superior consistencies which allowed me to define each lash properly and hold a dramatic curl. BUT they were all water resistant, which meant that they would run and smudge if I sweat (which i do a lot in my hot and humid climate), tear (which you cannot help if your eyes are irritated) or wear it into the night (oily lids syndrome). Hence, this mascara doesn't give you the best definition or curl but I view it as a give and take situation. It is hard to get a reasonably priced mascara which is totally water proof, defines each lash and curls superbly. For me, the maybelline falsies serves as a good daily mascara
BB Cream -MISSHA - M Signature Real Complete B.B. Cream SPF 25 PA++
sassysaturdays 11/29/2012 10:45:00 AM
I love the colour (no.21 for a fairer skin tone) and consistency of this product. It provides a medium coverage which is exactly what I want. Nothing too over the top and heavy but not too light that makes it pointless. BUT!!!!! I suspect that this BB cream has caused me to break out slightly. Strangely enough I continued using it, hoping that it was just a short term break out due to stress or crazy hormones. But after half a year of using it daily, I do think that this BB cream is not really suitable for me. Which is sad. Because I have another full bottle of it! Having said that the MISSHA signature real complete BB cream could be responsible for my break out, I think that it is highly probably that any BB cream that provides this level of coverage would clog your pores and not be entirely good for your skin. Hence, I am going on a BB cream fast for a while and try to avoid it or use it when I absolutely must (like on a date or night out). So I would recommend that you try it for a few weeks and if you dont get a break out, it is possibly a great BB cream for you.
Brows -Bobbi Brown - Brow Kit in Sable and Mahogany

I was quite hesitant to get this kit as it was pricier than my usual eyebrow pencils. But I totally love it now and I think its worth every penny! The colours go well with my dark brown hair. And the pigments are relatively rich and natural looking. It took me a while to be able to shape my brows with a brush instead of a pencil but it is not too hard since i do not pluck my brows too thinly. Would get it again! But I have been using this daily for more 3 months and I am sure that it can last be for at least another 6-9months. So I can patiently wait for a sale!
It is able to remove most of the dirt but not overly strip the skin of its moisture, which is exactly what I am looking for in a toner. I don't particularly like the smell (it is a bit too girly for me) but at least it is relatively pleasant. The packaging can be improved considering this is a rather pricey product. It is not cheap but for the volume and quality, I think it is definitely worth it. I will stick to this for sometime if I can't find a better toner.
Treatments -Unlisted Brand - 3M - Nexcare Acne Patch
sassysaturdays 11/29/2012 10:15:00 AM
A quick and easy way to reduce your pimples while you sleep! You just have to make sure your skin is dry and just stick it on and go to bed. You would then remove it the next morning and there will be a visible improvement on the pimple. It draws out the pus from pimples which are already ripe and screaming at you to pick at them. Hence, it is a way cleaner and fuss free way to remove the unslightly yellow pus. For the pimples are are just red and swollen (without any visible pus), it will reduce the swelling. However, it does not actually totally cure the pimples as the red marks are still on my face after a week of putting the patch. Hence I think the patch just prevents the full outbreak of the pimple and quicken the healing process but does not do anything else besides that. Having said this, I think it is an easy and cheap solution but I would definitely need to find a treatment cream to complement this system by removing the residual pimples. It is not expensive but you can go through them so quickly if you have a few pimples you want to keep under control a day.
Definitely one of my favourite toners. But it is way too expensive for me to get another one (mine has finished months ago) so I am still looking for an equally good toner at a lower price. Cleans my skin very well and is able to remove dirt which other toners are not able to pick up. But it is not too harsh and just leaves the skin fresh and clean! Would get it again if there is a big discount!
