This cost me $25 and i will not repurchase. To be honest this isn't much better than a drug store brand. I reccomend CHI or even silk drops. Redken does 't reduce the frizz at all ot just makes your hair look dark and oily but it's odd because ot doesn't feel excessively thick on your hands while you apply it. Oh and usually anything formulated with argan oil smells awesome, not the case here. this smells like coconut queen helene. i do not reccomend this product
I'll start with the dislikes: bulky packaging, tweezers are unnecessary, limited shades (L,M,D - that's how the foundation is too though, just a few shades to choose from), expensive! Positives: good lasting power, fills in the gaps, great for elongating brows if you got a bad brow job, easy how to instructions included NOTE: I noticed that I have to wear more make up when I use this. With just eyeliner and brow zings I look hard. I absolutely have to soften my features with blush and a natural lipstick - with the extra few steps I looked super dolled up (it's a plus but also a minus because it's more work, time, product)
I got this from Sephora for my birthday. It has alot of potential but I don't like the way it clumps the lashes. It makes it look like you have more lashes initially, but seconds after drying the lashes stick together so then it looks like you have 5 large/thick lashes on your eyes. I truly good mascara should make it look like you have alot of thick lashes, not a few thick/long lashes. I would not purchase the reg size. If I have beauty points and nothing else is offered, I would take this again
Foundations -Sephora - Instant Airbrush Foundation

For starters I didn't buy this product but I was tempted. I used this at Sephora and was intrigued by the concept of aerosol foundation. It seemed to last all day and really made me look dolled up/flawless. Keep in mind that I tried this in the afternoon hours after my makeup already set him. I'm not sure how effective this would be to replace my current routine. The price isn't bad $20 for 6 ounces if I remember correctly. However when you spray it the particles condense very closely so you have to spray multiple times to get it in the different areas of your face - I sprayed in the t zone, along my chin, beside each of my temples, on my nose, and on each of my cheeks. I'm tempted to buy, but feel like I wouldn't be doing myself any favors getting used to a freakin can of make up. I would feel like a clown spray painting my face if I used daily. Maybe I'm just not glam enough for this. I'm sure celebrities use this on the regular.
I'm not impressed. I bought this a Marshalls for $25 - I knew I should have gone to a dept store and sampled before opening the box. But I was so excited. Now that I think about it I don't think I've ever seen o Weekend at Sephora or Macys. Go figure. This smells cheap and heavy. For a second it also smells like windex. I wish I could elaborate, but I just don't like it. Will not repurchase, not even for $1
Lotions/ Creams -Soap and Glory - The Righteous Butter

If you use too much of this it can make you smell like an old woman, but in moderation it smells great - like a blend of make up and cosmetics. It is very feminine with a woodsy sort of scent. If this was an article of clothing it would be wool material - dense and classic. I keep the small 50ml tub at my desk at work. Whenever I put it on my hands everyone in the office seems to quiet down a bit. Maybe it's just a coincidence because I like to use this in the afternoon time before I leave work - but I still think this has a calming effect. I didn't give this 5 stars because it doesn't do much for moisturizing. It feels nice when I rub it on my hands, and it smells unique but if you're looking for moisture good old drug store olay will get the job done.
So the individual bottle is not that cheap, but I ended up getting the value set which includes a 1.7 ounce bottle, 6 ounce shower gel, and 6 ounce lotion, with a .5 ounce travel size perfume for $70 + CA tax. Not bad. One bottle of Gucci is far more expensive.... I ADORE the scent. It smells sweet for the initial few seconds but the dry down is tangy. It almost smells like linen, and a luxe powder. The lasting power is consistent. When I walk into a room I can sense the fragrance softly trailing behind. After a few minutes it isn't noticeable. If I start sweating the scent kicks in a little stronger. One afternoon I went to pick a movie from blockbuster - it was hot out and when I got back into my car I could lightly smell the VS perfume. That's how great this stuff is. A real keeper.
Excellent. This stuff will have your back. I developed a problem where scented deorderants would stink whenever I would sweat. Then with that in mind I would become anxious more easily, causing me to sweat more. What a vicious cycle. This brand is well composed. If I sweat it doesn't bleed through my blouses. Prior to using this I would have to scrub my underarms on my blouses as soon as I got home otherwise when I washed them the smell would absorb and ruin the shirt. I no longer have to worry about that. Thank you to whoever engineered this. My life is finally normal again. I know that sounds cheesy but hygiene is really important, when you have a problem that you can't control it really affects you. One deodorant could fix it all :)
This is almost like a brick red, but a bit deeper/brighter. If you look dull this will definitely invigorate you. I highly recommend using red lip liner - with a bold color like this any unevenness or smearing will stand out. This looks great with clear gloss as a final touch, but can stand alone without gloss as well. CLASSIC.
This has a purple under one to it, more like lilac. It looks amazing with layered bronze and pink shimmer. Apparently this is Kim Kardashian's signature shade. Even if you dislike her you have to admit her makeup is flawless. I am of a similar tone with onyx hair and brown eyes (sometimes my eyes look like honey and sometimes they look black - either way this lipstick always complements my features). I especially like this shade because it can be used with business attire (it isn't excessively flashy) but it can also be used for a night out. Very practical but not boring. I definitely reccomend
This is for the fragrance "A is for ALDO" (blue). It is different - strong and confident. Different from the classic feminine scent, but still very vibrant and young. For .3 ounces this costs $15 - one ounce of Ralph Lauren Polo is $40 so technically A is for Aldo for one ounce would be $45. You would expect RL to be more expensive but that is not the case. Even so this product is nice. It isn't common like J'Adore or the other mainstream biggies. It's nice to be different
I smelled this in a magazine sample and loved it. When I went to Sephora I decided to purchase, 1 ounce $40. It has great lasting power. In the beginning is when it smells best. Throughout the day the scent is not as vivid. Maybe layering with a lotion or body wash would help, but I am not entirely certain that the Big Pony line has accompanying shower gel or lotion. This smells like a dept store fragrance dept...wonderful. The bottle is alright, nothing special.
I smelled this in a magazine ad sample and adored it. When I went to Macy's to try it on that was not the case. It is grossly simple - sweet and nothing else. Drug store Calgon is more complex than this. I can't imagine this being suitable on any age, it's just so overwhelming and obnoxious. I couldn't wait to go home and change after putting this on. The staying power is strong, which in other circumstances would be good. After washing my dress/cardigan that I wore when I sprayed this the scent still lingered. BLAH. Do not reccommend
I really like this scent. I don't think it smells generic or too girly at all. It is sweet, but also very clean. It's potent enough that it catches your attention, but the nice thing is that it briefly dissolves. After a few minutes you don't notice it - making you want to smell more. The bottle is in line with VS brand. It is transparent and at the back you can see stripes (much like the bag). I'm 23 and find this perfect for my age - more sophisticated than a college girl, but as mature as my mother
Moisturizers -Unlisted Brand - Eminence - Stone Crop Whip Moisturizer
sassylatina 10/24/2012 2:10:00 AM
There is nothing extraordinary about this moisturizer, except maybe the price tag. It's 100% organic so it smells nice (like fruit loops). Since it is made of all natural ingrediants you have to use it fairly quickly otherwise it spoils. This can be problematic because the moisturizer is super thick, so it takes quite a long time before you use any. Although I have tried applying a thin layer, a medium, layer and a heavy layer I do not feel my face is more hydrated or moisturized. That is the sole purpose of this product, and it doesn't measure up. I still rated it a 3 because it does not agitate my skin or cause break outs. I do not burn easily, but my friend who swears by this claims it is a great remedy for sun burnt skin.
