Treatments -Philosophy - Resurface Kit - The Microdelivery In-Home Vitamin C Peptide Peel
sarahlittlecutie 12/31/2005 1:40:00 PM
I really like this product, I do not have fine lines or large pores which the product is suggested to help but my skin has been looking pretty grey and blah for the last couple of months with dry bits, a few spots here and there (which turned out to be from bacteria on my work telephone!) so when I got this kit for Christmas I was very excited. I tried it out first thing on Christmas morning and it is so easy to use. Use the scrub for a minute or so, the sales assistant told my mum when she bought it that you can use a scoop of the vitamin c powder mixed into the scrub for a big vitamin c hit. Then massage the activator on top and let the fizzing and warming sensation stop (leave on for 2-3 mins) and then rinse off. My skin looks like I have been on holiday or for a relaxing facial after I use this product, it is healthy soft and smooth and the effect for me has lasted nearly all week, so I am going to do it again tonight as I want nice fresh skin again! I would recommend 10/10

Cleansers -Philosophy - Purity Made Simple (Real Purity Cleanser)
sarahlittlecutie 12/31/2005 1:31:00 PM
The packaging of this product is ok, the squeeze tube means that you can get all of the product out so there is no waste and the clear bottle means you know how much is left. The actual product has quite a strange consistency, not very similar to any other liquid foaming cleanser I have used before, I am not sure if this is a good or bad thing but it is a bit odd unless you get used to it. The smell is ok, nothing exciting. The product is ok in my opinion for using as a facewash in the morning to wash off the grease/sebum accumulated during the night. I would not use this to remove makeup, ever. It just is not up to the challenge of removing foundation or heavy eye makeup, you would end up not washing it off completely and the one and only time I did this my skin still felt as if I had the makeup on so I used my other cleanser by Liz Earle which is much thicker and guaranteed to remove all makeup and make you feel really clean. This would be good for people who wear little makeup or for after a gym workout which is the only time I use mine now. If you wear a fair amount of makeup then I wouldn't really bother purchasing this product.

Lip Gloss -MAC - LipGelee - Saplicious
sarahlittlecutie 8/1/2005 5:10:00 PM
I really like this gloss and took it as the only gloss (yes you heard me right one!) on my holiday to Rhodes. The packaging is classy and simple which is one of the reasons i like Mac. The slant tip applicator is great for ease of application and i did not find that too much came out. The colour is quite sheer and a natural caramel with subtle shimmer. This works great for me though as I am very pale and blonde and even after getting a tan on holiday this still looked subtle so I could wear it on the beach or jazz it up with lipliner for the evening. All round 5 out of 5 for a great product. Try it in the fridge if you are on holiday so the consistency stays normal!

Eye Shadow -MAC - 6 Eyes Jewel -Holiday 2004
sarahlittlecutie 11/7/2004 10:06:00 AM
I adore this palette. The packaging is fantastic and stands out as much better quality than last years palettes. The eyeshadows seem thinner but the brush fits then perfectly and the compactness of the palette means it will fit in the smallest of handbags. The colours mylar and sunnyside up are gorgeous used on the lid with era in the crease for everyday. The more glam honeylust and parrot lovely for an evening look. All in all the best out of the 3 palettes IMO.

Eye Shadow -MAC - Hipnotique
sarahlittlecutie 3/15/2004 5:42:00 PM
This is my favourite eyeshadow from the hipnotique collection. An aqua teal, this is not normally the colour I would go for but it is so pretty and springish that I had to! It looks great in the crease with deep truth on the lid and as a liner for the smoky look or around the other way for a daytime look. I normally wouldnt think this would suit my blue/grey/greenish eyes but it brings out the blue so they dont look so grey and blegh!. I like this with enchantress lipglass.

Eye Shadow -Urban Decay - Snow

This is great as a bighlighter on the brow bone used with green shadows such as ud vert and mildew or Mac humid and greensmoke. Can also be used alone for an everyday look or with a simple, similar colour in the crease.

Eye Shadow -MAC - Veluxe - Jewel Blue
sarahlittlecutie 2/14/2004 4:06:00 PM
This has the most lovely texture of all the mac shadows! I love the colour although as it doesnt suit me too much I only use as a liner or in the crease a tiny bit. I just couldnt resist buying such a beautiful bright turquoise!

Eye Shadow -MAC - Pink Venus Eye Shadow
sarahlittlecutie 2/14/2004 4:04:00 PM
This is pretty and does come out like it is in the pan if I use mac bare canvas paint. If I use untitled it looks too beige and ruins the eyeshadow. I like to use this with yoghurt from the pinks palette. I am NC15 with blue eyes. The glitter didnt fall off a lot on me either.

Eye Shadow -MAC - Crimsonette (Holidazzle LE 2003)
sarahlittlecutie 2/14/2004 4:03:00 PM
This does seem to have some black in it when applied which is strange as it doesnt look like it has when its in the pan so what I have learnt to do is to apply a little to the crease with my finger then blend using my mac crease brush as if i apply with the brush it seems to just pick up the black. A nice colour to go with pinks, corals and other warm toned or neutral eyecolours. Would repurchase.

Eye Shadow -MAC - Bare Canvas Paint
sarahlittlecutie 2/14/2004 4:00:00 PM
This goes on me a NC15 as a little shimmery pale beige paint. To be honest though it is so sheer I only wear it with bright colours and untitled with more neutral colours to help them stay put. It has a nice consistency but I just find it a little too sheer.

Eye Shadow -MAC - Honey Lust (Lustre)
sarahlittlecutie 2/14/2004 3:59:00 PM
I was actually a little dissapointed with this. From the pan it looks brown but somehow ends up a little orange looking on?? Not sure how but it unfortunately does. If used with a sponge applicator the glitter falling everywhere is greatly reduced but to be honest it just looks like you have applied oh baby lipglass to your eye. Shame as it looks so pretty in the pan.

Eye Shadow -MAC - Gleam (Lustre)
sarahlittlecutie 2/14/2004 3:56:00 PM
I had to use this wet to give an obvious application but used dry it is nice for everyday or work. It is similar to UD x eyeshadow but not exactly the same as X is a little too much for my skintone and looks a little too gold. The texture of this is unfortunately not as good as the other types of mac eyeshadow but I like it nonetheless and would repurchase as it is nice with sweeten up and other colours such as browns and burgundies.

Eye Shadow -MAC - Vapour
sarahlittlecutie 2/14/2004 3:53:00 PM
This is my absolute holy grail, must have, would cry if they ever stop making eyeshadow. I use it as a base every single day and as an under brow highlighter. It is a little lighter than my NC15 skin and applied from lashes to under brows really makes my eyes look huge and creates a perfect base. It widens them and makes my eyes look flawless and bright!! I am in awe of this and I dont think I will even bother looking for another base anymore as this is a good price and a good quality eyeshadow so I am set. It was recommended by the PRO store makeup artist who also recommended era and cork to go with vapour for my work look and I always get comments from the girls at work now that my eyes look nice or simply that I look well rested (as my eyes before had obvious grey lids as my skin is so thin/pale) go buy....NOW!

Eye Shadow -MAC - Eyeshadow in Mystery
sarahlittlecutie 2/14/2004 3:49:00 PM
This does look very plain in the pan but it does have many uses. Eyeliner, brow liner, brow filler, in the crease and on and on. Perhaps not the most exciting eyeshadow colour but it is a staple and it is very natural. I would definitely repurchase.

Eye Shadow -MAC - Sketch eye shadow
sarahlittlecutie 2/14/2004 3:47:00 PM
I agree with the wine description of this colour, it really does look like a deep burgundy red wine. It seems to go with all warm toned eyeshadows as I usually just use it in the crease or as a liner as allover it does tend to make me look scary and red eye-ish. I am NC15 So i think it could be worn on all skin colours as it would look fab on dark skins.
