This was an impulse buy. The product packaging is fantastic, and the design of the product is amazing. (love the zig-zag appearance - I love how good it looks in my muji drawers - so pretty) The doe foot applicator is great. I would say they have a slightly heavier feel on the lips, but I don't mind it. The staying power is AMAZING, the best I have ever found in a gloss. They have absolutely no sticky feel. I adore them so much, I tossed out all my other glosses, and bought more. Although I prefer unscented, it is lightly scented, sort of vanilla/caramel-ish, but the scent fades away very quickly. It is tricky to know exactly what color you are getting, since it looks different in the package than on the lips. Do some in-store swatches (or a google search) before purchase. They would benefit from a larger color range, since they really only have a few peaches and pinks. Over time, the color does eventually mix, and the zig zag effect disappears. These are on the pricey side, but will repurchase.
I agree with many of the other reviews. It blends really nicely on my fair/cool undertone skin. It's tough to find a contour color for fair skin that isn't too orange or dark. Nars Laguna is great - very natural, easy to blend, works well with my skintone. I am not a fan of Nars packaging though. I can never travel with them - my nars blushes always end up cracked whenever I fly. (despite many efforts to protect/wrap/cushion them) Will repurchase. (but the package is HUGE, so I am sure it will be years before I would need a new one!) A little pricey, but tons of product make it worth the price.
HG highlighter! Works really well on my fair/cool skin tone to highlight cheekbones. It blends out really nicely, leaving a gorgeous glow. It's almost impossible to over-do it with this too. Lasting power is good for me, and very creamy, which I love, since I have very dry skin. For a multiple - I def won't be using this on my lips, or as anything besides a cheek highlight. Although it's a bit pricey, I will re-purchase.
As a foundation, the Mac studio fix is just ok for me. It doesn't offer enough coverage to hide the mild rosacea I have in my cheeks. (it's very mild) So I have to use another foundation. **What makes this product great?** I use a few pats of this on each cheek, and it makes my blushes blend like a dream! I get such a better natural flush of color when I apply blush after using this. (especially with highly pigmented blushes that can be tricky to apply) For this reason alone I will repurchase.
Turned my chronically dry skin into an oil slick! I have terribly dry skin. I have a constant struggle with dry flakey patches on my face. After reading the reviews, I thought this foundation might be perfect for me... wrong! When I first applied, I thought this might work. It left a really nice dewy finish. Two hours later, I looked at myself in the mirror, and was horrified to see my face was an oily mess! The first time in my life that I looked oily! I used toilet paper to blot it from my skin (which removed most of the product - bright orange on the paper too, this oxidized like crazy) Day two - I applied VERY sparingly, thinking I might have used too much. I set with a matte powder and went about my day. Again, two hours later, it looked like I spread butter all over my face! Won't be repurchasing.

I purchased this after reading all the glowing reviews. The good: I found the absolute perfect color for my skin tone, it helps neutralize the pink on my face, perfectly evening out my face with my neck. The Bad: Everything else. I have a few fine lines around my eyes, but when I apply this foundation, I instantly look 10 years older. It settles into my lines, and makes my pores look larger. I have tried EVERYTHING to get this foundation to blend. I have used a foundation brush, my fingers, and a beauty blender sponge, but no matter what I do, it looks cakey. I have very dry skin, and this foundation really accentuates the dry flakey patches. It even shows new dry flakey patches on my face that I wasn't even aware of. (no other foundation has made them look so bad) I started adding a quarter pump to my MakeUp Forever HD just to try to use the bottle up, since I like the color so much. I wish I would have returned this right away.
I LOVE LOVE LOVE these balms. There are a lot of mixed reviews on these, but they are NOT lipsticks - and they are NOT supposed to be. They are sheer tinted balms. (a my-lips-but-better product) I have spent years looking for this exact product - something that adds a nice, but noticeable sheer color, and a slight gloss to help finish a look. I coordinate a tone with my cheek color to give a more polished and put together look - but never overdone. I get a really nice hint of color, and a beautiful glossy sheen. I have very fair skin, (NC15) so many lipsticks leave me feeling very clown-like. That's why I love these. I actually bought them for my sisters for Christmas, and they both immediately went and purchased more. I actually went back and bought every color. (Walgreens does a buy one, get one, fairly often too, making them a steal) These are my favorite lip product of all time. (so glad to find a much more affordable option than the Dior Addict Lip Glow) For me, the staying power is great. I don't really lick my lips or anything like that, but typically I only need to re-apply after about 4 hours. (not the 8 hours they claim, but really great staying power for a gloss) I think they are perfect for the office too. I HATED the Revlon Lip Butters - which these are often compared to. The L'oreal balms moisturize my lips, and feel great, not waxy like most balms. A few of the shades do have a bit more color pay-off than others. Plush Plum, and Tender Mauve deliver the most color. If you are looking for a lot of color, look elsewhere. I think if you have highly pigmented lips these might not show up very well either. For me, and my fair/cool complexion, they are great.
UPDATE: At first I loved this scent, but I quickly found it too strong for my liking. I prefer something a bit more subtle. I have 3/4 of a bottle sitting on my shelf that I never grab for. I love the scent of this! I agree with other posters, when I first sprayed a little from the tester bottle of it, I thought it was a little to heavy on the vanilla. But later that night, I kept smelling myself, loved it! It is very girly and floral, but not too overpowering. My new spring and summer scent. Unlike what other posters said, I found that the scent lasts very long on me, can usually still smell it at bedtime.
