Foundations -Make Up For Ever - HD High Definition Foundation

This is the best foundation I have found so far. I have been through a lot of them too. I was using Bare Minerals and I will NEVER go back to that again. I usually don't like liquid foundations because they make me break out ( I have combo/oily skin.. I live in south Texas) or they cake up around my nose and cheeks where my pores are slightly larger. I had a representative at Sephora put this on me and It was not cakey at all. She put a hydrating, oil-free moisturizer on first and then a primer. She used a foundation brush to apply it and the color and finish was perfect. She even did one side of my face with the moisturizer, and one side without to show me how much of a difference(even with oily skin) having the moisturizer on before helps. I found that the side that was moisturized was smoother looking and did not crease around my nose than the side without. Also, she did not apply this under my eyes, I use Bye Bye Under eye concealer and it does the trick nicely. I will never use anything else. It doesn't stick to my fine lines like everything else does and I don't need a powder to set it. I think every foundation, mineral or not, I never put under my eyes as I got older because it made my lines look worse or caked so I knew I just needed a great concealer for that area! I think the trick with this foundation is to prepare your face for it correctly. Clean, tone ,moisturize and then prime your skin before and it covers everything lightly and evenly. Also applying with the brush helps. It never cakes for me and the woman who helped me said if it does cake in those areas, it is probably because I need to moisturize and make sure to use a good primer ( I use smashbox and she also gave me samples of the Sephora brand). She proved herself right when she did my make up. My husband said it didn't even look like I was wearing make up and I have red spots from breaks out everywhere, so that was a grateful compliment!! I highly recommend this stuff to anyone!

Conditioner -Redken - All Soft Conditioner

I use the All Soft Shampoo and Conditioner and I love them! My hair is curly, fine and splits very easily. It gets dry and frizzy as well, especially when using the blow dryer and flat iron or going outside since I live in a humid climate. These two products have made my hair very soft and manageable. I have tried expensive products, cheap, everything and this is my favorite. Also, if your hair is dry or damaged, make sure you use leave in treatments with this product. After washing, I use a few sprays of "It's a 10 Miracle Leave In Product" and a small pump of "L'EUDINE ULTRA Anti-Frizz hair straightener." I also add a tiny bit of volumizing mouse for my roots. All of this makes my hair soft, bouncy and NO split ends. Your hair needs more moisture than just from shampoos and conditioners, since your washing all of it out along with your natural hair oils. Those two leave in products are the BEST, the ULTRA is only about 9 dollars (at salons or online) but the Its A Ten is a little more expensive (about 15) but it makes your hair so soft, not oily.. you will NOT be disappointed! I have used those with other hair washes and Redken All Soft is by far the best for all hair types, especially dry hair!
