Lipstick -MAC - Lipstick in Hibiscus

I rarely succumb to mob lemmings :), but I figured I'd get it as I am so extremely warm toned that I usually bring out the pink in everything and this color was so warm that I couldn't possibly make it pink. Everytime I passed the MAC counter, I'd look at it, but I figured it was way too bright. Well, about a week after the launch, my counter still had a few. I tried it but it was way out of my comfort (nudes, deep reds) comfort zone. The SA insisted that I get it and it matches My Paradise so well, that I did get it. The compliments haven't stopped. It's a perfect retro coral on me. Definitely an orange/red coral, not a pink coral. This screams Palm Beach circa 1980 for me and I love it! I also love the finish. It's not too sheer and it leaves a nice stain. Perfect companion to My Paradise cheek color. (NC42-44)

I really like this e/s. I put off getting for a while because a lot of mua-ers had compared it to Tempting (my former hg) and claimed they were too similar to own both. I tried it a few times at the MAC counter on my hand and it did look quite similar to Tempting, so passed on it several times. Well, I had some extra $ and decided to get it b/c I'd use it up anyway since I use so much of my Tempting e/s. These are quite different on my eyes. Tempting is more of a warm bronze, more vibrant, more out there. Go is more neutral, more muted, has more of a patina-esque finish whereas Tempting is more foil-like to me. I use this one a lot more than Tempting now. I use it on my lid with Femme Fi as a highlight shade.

Makeup Brushes -MAC - 188 Small Duo Fibre Face brush

The last time I wore Peachtwist blush, my DH asked who pimp-slapped me. Today I applied it with my new 188 and just used powder, liner, and mascara. I was on my way out to get coffee and he asked what cleanser did I use b/c my face is so pretty. The 188 sheers everything out so well. The MAC blushes that I use are really pigmented, so it's easy to look clownish. This 188 was def. worth the money! I would definitely repurchase. Can't wait to try the 187.

Lipstick -MAC - Lustre Lipstick

I B2M for this color and I'm very pleased. It's a shimmery warm nude on me. I think the description 'sticky bun brown' is pretty accurate. I do wish it wore down a little better, though as it wears off the silver sparkles tend to hang out longer on your mouth than the actual lipstick part. I would purchase this color or B2M for it.

Mascara -Cover Girl - Lash Blast

This is the best mascara I have ever used. It thickens just like Diorshow, but doesn't clump like Diorshow. It's also blacker (the very black) where Diorshow wasn't dark enough for me. I also find the formula to be a little wetter thus giving the finished effect a softer rather than brittle feel. I love this mascara! Would so buy again and I'm the biggest HE mascara snob. It is now 2011 and I have not strayed from this mascara. I absolutely love it and my 14 year old uses LashBlast as well.

Lipstick -MAC - Touch

A beautiful neutral brown or deep beige depending on the lighting. I was looking for a MAC warm nude in the lustre finish and it seems that I've found it. Hug Me was way too pink and light and Fresh Brew looks like concealer on my lips. Love it!

Eye Shadow -MAC - Tempting (LUSTRE)

Beautiful color! It's color of a shiny burnished penny. Lots of shimmer, but not so much that it's a club only shadow. I wear this so many ways: 1. Tempting on lid, Brun in crease, Shroom to highlight. 2. Cork on lid, Tempting in crease, Shroom to highlight. I always use MAC Smolder eye kohl and Diorshow or Clinique High Impact.

Eye Shadow -MAC - Satin Taupe

I love this color. It's a pretty smoky taupe plum. I wear it with brule all over and brun in the crease and Shroom to highlight. Beautiful combo that a MAC SA put together for me in a quad (along with Beauty Marked). This combo can be very intense, so for daytime I wear ST on lid, Brule' all over and Relaxing to highlight.

Eye Shadow -MAC - Patina (Frost)

After hearing so many things about Patina and admiring it a lot at the MAC counter, I decided to go for it. After all, it's in the same family as my other favorite shadow colors. Unfortunately, this shadow did not show up on me at all. I tried it wet, dry, wet with going over it with dry for intensity, no go. I'm disappointed, b/c the color is so pretty in the pan. I guess I'll stick with Tempting and Satin Taupe.

Mascara -L'Oreal - Lash Out

After trying a lot mascaras that thicken and ending up with short, thick lashes, I wanted a mascara that lengthens and seperates, so I purchased the Lash Out. To my surprise it lengthened and thickened. I agree with the other reviewers who say it didn't hold a curl well, but I just gently curl after I use the mascara. Works just as well if not better than most HE. My HE favorites are PX False eyelashes and DiorShow.

Eyeliner -MAC - Tarnish Eye Kohl

I really love the kohls by MAC. My favorites are Blooz and Prunella. I also own Teddy in addition to Tarnish. Tarnish is a lot like Blooz. They both look black until they're smudged a little or applied in a thick line. It's a dark black hunter green. Looks gorgeous with Femme Noir e/s.

I bought this lip color when they first came out in 2002. It's a perfect brown red that I reach for whenever I need a red lipstick. The color reminds me of red/brown autumn leaves or brownish red bricks. I love it!

Eye Shadow -Clinique - Color Surge Duo in Strawberry Fudge

A beautiful combo of a wam sheer pink and a sheer cocoa. The colors surprisingly show up against my NC44 skin and last a long time. They compliment each other really well. A great spring/summer neutral duo that looks great with the Cream Soda lip gloss also by Clinique.
