Tinted Moisturizer -Clinique - Moisture Surge Tinted Moisturizer SPF15
sandra1900 11/27/2012 6:05:00 AM
Me: NC10 with very yellow skin Very sensitive skin Uber dry skin I bought this TM yesterday, but I had huge samples during last Summer, so my review is mostly based on that. Unfortunately the lightest shade they sell in Holland is #2, but because this TM does not have a lot of pigment in it, it still suits my NC10 skin. I compared #1 in Germany and there was hardly any difference. I think this TM is quite moisturizing, all though I do wear a moisturizer underneath as my skin is uberdry (Oilatum face cream). I like the coverage, it reminds me of Face & Body foundation by MAC, its very good buildable and very share. Overall, for me, a winner! Yes I will purchase this TM again!
Eyeliner -Clinique - Cream Shaper for Eyes-Egyptian
sandra1900 11/22/2012 6:59:00 AM
Me: NC10 with very yellow skin Very sensitive skin Uber dry skin This is my HG eyepencil, I love how creamy this eyepencil is and that it doesnt move a bit during the day. Egyptian is a bronzy/khaki shade and really compliments my blue eyes. I like to wear it with a natural e/s like MAC brulee-ish or MAC Vanilla pigment, but sometimes I use it for a smokey eye and apply the pencil all over my eyelid. Unfortunately we almost pay high end prices for Clinique where I live, but that has not stopped me from buying this eyepencil over and over again. Def. a keeper!
Blush -Clinique - Blushing Blush Powder Blush - Iced Lotus
sandra1900 11/22/2012 6:55:00 AM
Me: NC10 with very yellow skin Very sensitive skin Uber dry skin At first I was afraid this would be a too cool colour for my yellow-ish skin, but nope, it suited so well. Its a little cool (like a blue-ish pink), and because of that, it gives me a nice "just came from outside" blush. I will def. purchase this blush again!
Lip Gloss -Clinique - Long Last Glosswear SPF 15 in Guavagold
sandra1900 8/4/2012 1:13:00 PM
For reference: Im a NC10 (NC15 in Summer), blue eyes/light blonde hair Unfortunately I can not wear any other make up then Clinique or mineral make up, Im allergic to most others. I use to own Love Nectar lipgloss by MAC and this Clinique lipgloss in Guavagold reminds me a bit of that. The gloss isnt very sticky, it gives enough colour and I love the shimmery texture. The colour is a peachygold/pink-ish gloss and it really gives a warm colour to my lips. I like paring it with Clinique Aglow blush!
Conditioner -Dove - Daily Treatment Conditioner, Intensive Repair
sandra1900 5/12/2012 2:42:00 PM
I have tried expensive conditioners (TIGI, Kerastase) and cheap ones and never found my HG, up untill now! My hair: fine, bleached, bobline, straight/wavy. I use a blob of conditioner after shampoo-ing and leave it in for like 5 minutes, then rinse. My hair feels soft but not too soft and I feel my hair is really conditioned. The only conditioner which tops all this is Matrix Biolage Hydratherapie Conditioning Balm, thats still my fave conditioner.
I use this as a cuticle cream only and it does a good job on that. I never really tried it for anything else.
Cleansers -Clarins - Cleansing Milk for dry to normal skin
sandra1900 1/19/2012 7:19:00 AM
I have very sensitive skin and though I really wanted this cleanser to work on me, unfortunately it broke me out big time. It does do a great job at cleaning your skin, it really removes all your make up and feels soft and gentle on your skin. This would be a perfect cleanser if you have dry skin.
Cleansers -La Roche Posay - physiological micellar solution
sandra1900 1/19/2012 7:17:00 AM
I have sensitive skin and since a couple of months I have a very sensitive skin. This cleanser saved my life. It is so soft and gentle, I have not come across to a simulair product. I use this in the evening to remove my make up. I dont use this cleanser to remove my eyemake up though (I use Nivea for that). In the morning I use this cleanser as well. I use for both a cotton pad. Edit February 6th 2012. I have been using this for a couple of weeks now and it does dry out my skin whenever I use it. The dryness is gone the minute I apply my moisturizer, but still, its drying. So Im taking off 2 lippies for that.
Foundations -Vichy - Dermablend Corrective Foundation
sandra1900 12/27/2010 3:43:00 AM
About me: PPP with warm undertone (NC10/15) 40 sumthing Up untill recently had quite some hyperpigmentation Combo/dry/sensitive I bought this foundation last week and LOVE it. Coverage: more then enough Buildable: yup It covers the few hyperpigmentation I still have and also evens out my skin (have a tiny bit of redness on cheeks). I'm using a Mineral powder or blot powder to set the foundation and this works really well. I would def. recommend this foundation if you want a medium to full coverage.
Ive been using this gel for quite a while now. I love it! I have fine thin short blonde hair and I use this after I blow dried my hair (add some mousse or blow dry spray). I rub it in my hands and then work it through my hair, from the back to the front, from left to right. Then I start pulling strings of hair in place and use the last bit on my hands to do my fringe. If you use a tiny bit, it goes well, if you use to much it will make your hair look yukkie. This is also a good product to use when your hair is a bit frizzy (like 3 or 4 weeks after I went to my hairdresser my hair starts to get frizzy (yup fine and thin hair can get frizzy too), I add some in the ends of my hair then. I think I used like 4 jars by now, def. gonne buy it again.
I love this product! Ive bought the small bottle (and I would prefer a jar) and Ive been using this for the last couple of weeks. The colour suits beautifully (Im a nc20) and blends in really well. Ive used it on my arms and neck and Ive also used it on my face as a bronzer (added some moisterizer as the product is a bit thick and used a moisterizer with SPF first). I used a Lancaster fluid bronzer years ago (the brush thing) and I think this product comes close to Charlotte Island. Im def. gonne buy this again. It has all the pro's of the self tan but not the no's. Only downside: I would prefer a jar.
Ive been using the Moisteriser for almost a year now. I love the smell and I love the effect it has on my blonde hair. I leave it in for like 45 minutes, then wash my hair with any LUSH shampoo. It leaves my hair soft, but not to soft and it adds an amazing shine to my hair and my hair is slightly lighter after using this product and it gives a lot of body/volume to my hair.
In The Netherlands, were I live they sell the milk version which is great for removing waterproof eye make up. I allways apply some milk with my indexfinger and softly smudge it all over my eyes and lashes and remove the product with a wet cotton.
Powder -Everyday Minerals - Foundation - Intensive formula [DISCONTINUED]
sandra1900 8/20/2009 11:47:00 AM
I love the intensive formula as I can use this in the Summer ('cause the color is a bit more intensive and I use the Semi-matte formula in the Winter time). It gives good coverage, but also makes your skin look healthy.
I love this color! It really adds some color to my brows and it's easy to apply
