Cleansers -Trader Joe's - Tea tree oil facial cleansing wipes

These are the best I can't believe how much oil and dirt these pads remove. I had recently suffered a breakout due to using a face powder that contained mica (which breaks me out like crazy) but I hadn't read the ingredient list first and boy did I regret that. I find that salicylic acid and benzoil peroxide products don't help at all and so I was looking for something new to try. I picked these up together with Trader Joe's Tea Tree Oil cleansing bar (which is supposed to be for your body, at least that's how it's marketed) but it works perfectly on my face. Within a week my skin was completely clear. Yes they smell VERY strongly and might cause irritation for some but I'm used to using 35% glycolic acid gels on my face so this doesn't bother me at all and the results are amazing although I can't say for sure if it's these alone because I think it's the soap + these in combination. I've given them to my teenage daughter to try also and she loves them. I use a heavy duty eye cream because they are a little drying but otherwise they're perfect.
Conditioner -TRESemme - Climate Control Conditioner

Wow I am impressed! First off, I went to buy the shampoo and matching conditioner and the shampoo was sold out. I took that as a good sign... it must be great. I paid $3.99 for the conditioner. Well you really can't ask for a better price. I am only reviewing the conditioner since I have not tried the Climate Control shampoo yet, so I used the Anti-Breakage shampoo plus this conditioner. My hair is fine, wavy but frizzy and very highlighted so it tends to break easily and has little pieces sticking up all over. Yah not a good look. I used this conditioner this morning and it is completely smooth, the flat iron glided over my hair without sticking or catching and I have hardly any frizzy pieces sticking out. Plus it feels very soft and smells nice.

This review is for the shampoo and conditioner used together. I have used these off and on for the past three years, and I always end up buying something else more expensive and then turn around and come back to these... I don't know why I even bother with higher end products that just disappoint. These make my hair feel light, soft, conditioned but never greasy or heavy and I notice way less hair breaking off after continued use. They aren't the most moisturizing products, the Moisture Rich is better for that, but my hair is heavily highlighted and flat ironed often so these work better for me. I would highly recommend purchasing the bottles that come with the pump though, otherwise it's pretty awkward to use.
I liked the way this felt when I applied it, and the coverage was good so I initially liked it. However, catching a glimpse of myself in a mirror later in the day I was surprised to see how orangey and cakey my face looked :( I, like many other reviewers of this product, broke out in huge under the skin acne within a few days of using this product, having not had acne issues for years. I HATE this product, and have returned it for a refund. Blah.

I loved this the first time i used it... I had a few small blemishes, used this before I went to bed and woke up with clear skin. That was last weekend. I've used it once a day since then and OMG my skin is so dry and flaky, my makeup looks horrible because it's all cracked and the skin under my eyes is dry. I would recommend this product for OCCASIONAL use only and definitely not as a daily face scrub. It's just too drying for that.
I LOVE this hairspray. I have used it for three years and have purchased over and over and have only recently discovered that it is fantastic to use as a pre-flat ironing spray. I happened to read the back of the can the other day and noticed it said "use with or without heat" so I lightly sprayed each section before I flat ironed and it was the straighest I have ever been able to get my hair on my own without going to a salon. It somehow stuck the pieces together and made it shiny without being sticky. The flat iron didn't tug or pull at all. If you haven't tried it for flat ironing I strongly encourage you to do so. It is so expensive I can't believe I'm paying $32 Canadian for one can of hairspray but I keep repurchasing over and over because it is THAT good.
I disliked this product from the moment I bought it and unfortunately couldn't return it. It makes my hair stiff, sticky and hard to come through and I'm pretty sure it has a ton of alcohol in it. It's drying and if i try to comb through at all while the product is in, my hair breaks. I hate it. I'm sorry I'm stuck with this huge bottle.
I have naturally curly hair which I almost always flat iron straight since the curly ends up looking frizzy very quickly after it dries. I bought this product for my daughter to use, but brought it with me on a recent trip to Las Vegas by accident (intending to bring a different product but this one somehow ended up in my bag.) On one lazy afternoon during the trip and in my haste to get back to enjoying the Strip, I decided to have a quick shower and gave this product a try on my wet hair. It looked fabulous. no sign of frizz at all, although I think Vegas's dry climate helped as well, as I am from a normally humid area. I love the smell, and yes it does last for hours, but I find it pleasant, and anyone who comes close enough to me to smell it always comments on how good my hair smells. This bottle is large and will last a long time, but I would definitely repurchase it when it runs out, as letting my hair air dry using this product is definitely less damaging for my hair than daily blow drying and flat ironing.
