Eyeliner -Urban Decay - 24-7 Glide-On Eye Pencil in Zero

Picked up the Smoked set from Sephora at a 40% discount (SGD$39 for a set of 6 travel-sized Glide-On Eye Pencils) because of all the raves & I have to say I am massively disappointed. First day, I tried it on the waterline since it's supposed to be really good for the waterline. I first primed my eyes with the Urban Decay Primer Potion, & then did what was recommended - lining the waterline, letting it set for a minute & repeating twice more. Went to work (in an air-conditioned office) & within 4 hours, the outer corner of my eyes have some smudges, & I was beginning to have racoon eyes. The line has also faded unevenly to dots across the waterline. Second day, giving it another try on the lash line. Also primed with the UDPP, & then lining my eyes above the lash line & letting it set for about 2 minutes. Looks good, left for work. Arrived at work (half an hour later) to find that some of the eyeliner has transferred to my crease (I have monolids) even with UDPP & letting the liner set. Thank goodness I didn't spend SGD$30 buying a full-sized eyeliner. :(
This is the only LF I've ever used & it's really good for its price! It covers blemishes really well, giving a nice airbrushed look. After concealor & loose powder, I look like I have perfect skin (which I really don't)! It does have a chemical smell but it's not so overwhelming that I can't tolerate it. Will use this until I find a better alternative!
Honestly, it does voluminise, but I'll only purchase this IF I can't get my hands on my Majolica Majorca. I don't know why but I just don't like this as much - it curls my lashes & voluminises but makes my lashes all clump together & look really messy. I have to comb through to separate my lashes.

I LOVE all the Majolica Majorca's Mascara & when this first came out, I bought it almost immediately. It turned out to be a major disappointment. 1. It has a strange chemical smell. 2. The fibres are all clumpy on the wand - that's how it was the first time I pulled the wand out of the tube. 3.It does NOTHING for my lashes. The fibres simply cling gently off the tips of the lashes making me look like I have strange, spidery lashes which are not even properly aligned. (The spidery fibres hang off the lashes in different angles.) Back to my usual Majolica Majorca's mascara!
Happy with this concealor - I used to use Maybelline & L'Oreal, but they were both so watery & didn't conceal undereye dark circles much. ZA has a thicker texture & fades out my dark circles & cover blemishes really well. It also doesn't sink deep into the lines - there is bound to be some product that gets into the fine lines but they can be blended out easily. The concealor does seem to fade after about 8 hours (which is reasonable), & blemishes may show up again so it's probably good to re-apply. Sticking to this till I find something better!
I am loving the colours! It definitely is naked indeed, with the varying shades of neutral colours that can be worn day or night. However, I only really use the first 3/4 of the palette, not really touching Hustle, Creep or Gunmetal. My favourite colours would be Sin for base, Naked for all over eyelid, Buck for crease (I use Buck way too much) & Half-Baked to go in the middle of the lid. Toasted is also really pretty. The colours stay on forever & they go on so well on the lids, blending out easily. The shimmers also don't fall out. The brush that comes in the palette is of a good quality, being really soft. & the packaging is adorable - slim with a magnet-snap closure & a little mirror on the underside of the lid. Don't see how I'll ever finish using all these colours but I really want to, so I can purchase Naked Palette 2!
Eye Primer -NYX - HD High Definition Eyeshadow Base

I bought this together with E.L.F's Eyeshadow Primer, & prefer that to this. The texture is smoother & glides across the eyelids, & it does keep eyeshadow on. However, because it's so slippery & because I have hidden double-eyelids, it really messes up my eyeliner, causing it to immediately transfer to the crease of my hidden eyelid. :( Good for eyeshadow, BAD for eyeliner.
WOW. HG status eye primer for me! This eyeshadow primer is pretty similar to E.L.F's in terms of texture, but although it also dries quickly, it seems easier to blend than E.L.F's. It comes in a tube with a doe-foot applicator, which gives the correct amount on each eyelid. The eyeshadow appears very vibrant & it also stayed ALL day, through 18-hour days! & the price is amazing, costing a fraction of the UDPP. I will continue using my TSFI coz' I prefer that texture but on everyday basis, I find myself reaching for Proof 10 more.
Great colour combination for me (I'm raven-haired) - taupe for less dramatic days, brown for days where I feel dressier. Colour pay-off is really good, & the wax helps to tame my brows into my place. The brush that comes with it is crap though. Stiff & doesn't do ANYTHING. I purchased my own brow brush. Also, the plastic transparent lid broke off its hinges fairly quickly even though I didn't even bring it around, left it home most of the time. Hope they improve on the packaging!
LOVE this. I have a sample of the legendary UDPP but decided to buy this TFSI off ASOS instead. I bought this before I bought the Anti-Crease TFSI. The eye primer glides smoothly across my eyelids, blending like a dream. The shimmer acts like an eyeshadow base. Eyeshadow stays on ALL day without creasing. With a tube like this, I get the appropriate amount on my fingertips easily & it's hygienic & doesn't pump air into the tube. However, there is a strange chemical smell but I got over that quickly as it's such a beautiful shimmer primer! Will definitely repurchase!

Eyes -E.L.F. - Studio High Definition Undereye Setting Powder

I REALLY like this. The difference isn't much but I can tell that it blends out my undereye concealor nicely, buffing/blurring my dark undereye circles. The brush that came with it is also nice & soft. However, the transparent stopper doesn't pop back in as well as it pops out, so I've had issues of powder flying everywhere. :(
I guess this is good for its price, but I don't like how difficult it is to blend in. It dries far too quickly & there were times I had splotches of it dried on my eyelids. Otherwise, good for its value - it does a good job in helping eyeshadow stay but not so much for eyeliner.
Well, I really like this & am on my third stick. HOWEVER, it does smudge/transfer on my hidden double eyelids. It also transfers a little to below my eyes but the texture of the Powerpoint is amazing. It's smooth, doesn't tug & the colour payoff is great - a deep black that really enhances the eyes.
For the amount I paid (that's like about S$40, much more than the amount I paid for POP Beauty), I expected it to work like a dream. However, it didn't. The texture is alright - it does make my skin smoother but it doesn't really do much to cover my enlarged pores. I also really dislike the overwhelming scent that it emitted - it smells like some sickeningly sweet vanilla. I do like the packaging though - it's simple, & I love its angular shape. But I'll not purchase again. Will continue using POP Beauty's Face Magnet until I find a better face primer.
