Spray this on and you will smell like the sweetest, most decadent dark chocolate cake ever baked. You will literally smell delicious. I love that. My only critique would be that it can smell a tad too sweet, but I can overlook it considering how truly chocolate cake it smells. I do not smell the other notes at all, just the cocoa and the cake flour.

It takes a long time for the smell to finally settle when I apply it, but when it does it smells like fresh, tangy leather or maybe leather with a hint of a dollar bill smell.. like I said, tangy. It's unusual, but I kind of like it. I wouldn't wear it by itself, but I might put a drop on in a few places under a more feminine perfume to get a leather undertone. I think it might be good for men. I think the undertone idea would work well with men's colognes too.
Eyeliner -Tarte - EmphasEYES waterproof clay eye shadow & liner

Pigmented, sets as well as some of the better cream/ gel liners I've used and goes on smoothly. All around a good gel liner. I love the brush it came with. Personally it's been a dream to apply the liner using it. I can do the cat eye/ wings with ease. I'm happy with this purchase.
I was looking for a new cream or gel liner since I love them and my last one had dried up. I was drawn in by the amazing packaging. I decided to buy it since Urban Decay has a pretty good reputation and pretty much every gel/ cream liner has worked pretty well for me. This was such a disappointment! I personally didn't think the brush worked very well. It was just "meh". I had a hard time applying liner with it because the bristles would get gap-y. I could easily have used a different brush, no problem. The real problem was the product. It went on more dark grey than black and even if I did apply enough for it to be black it didn't matter as it would fade or run every time. I even used a primer and it didn't seem to really help. It just never really set like other liners. I actually returned it, which I rarely do.
I bought this perfume based solely on the notes and marketing campaign. I had never smelled it and bought it despite its mediocre reputation. I'm so glad I didn't listen to others. I love it. The jasmine and honeysuckle are the most prominent notes to me, so it is a very floral, sweet perfume. However I think the jasmine gives it a little bit of a deepness. If you're not a fan of floral scents, this is obviously not the way to go. It smells as lovely as it looks (have you seen the adorable packaging?!) I wish I had bought it sooner instead of hesitating for so long.
I am in love with these lipcremes. I bought this after trying out Love Forever. Prolong is a nice true red. It kind of reminds me of Classic Dame, which was from MAC's limited mattene lip sticks. It goes on smooth and kind of creamy, then seals on to your lips a bit as it dries. I don't find the formula to be drying, but I usually wear matte lipsticks. This lasts at least as well as matte lipsticks, if not better. I will admit that Prolong doesn't seem to last quite as long as Love Forever, but Love Forever is a softer color and Prolong is a strong red so the color fading/ transferring is probably more noticeable. My only complaint is the shape. It's not shaped like a traditional lipstick. Instead of being pointed at the tip, it's flat, which makes it difficult for me to apply to the fine points of my lips. I suppose that's why I have a lip brush.
Best red lipstick ever. What have I been doing with all these other lipsticks all this time?! Goes on beautifully and thick, but because it's so matte it dries on my lips and I can't feel it nearly as much as I would feel creamy lipstick coating my lips. This is great for me because it stops me from messing with it. The staying power is great. It may require a touch up every now and then, but I haven't pulled a mirror out and noticed half my lipstick has been wiped off or faded away while using this. Though it won't moisturize lips since it's matte, it doesn't seem to dry them out either. The color is great. It's a true blue red. This is the first red lipstick I've worn that my boyfriend doesn't hate. I attribute that to how well it wears (going on well, not smearing easily, nice coverage, etc.). My only issue is that the lipstick itself seems like it will dry out faster and have a shorter life span than other lipsticks due to it being so matte, but it's a small price to pay for how well it works. A lip brush would help with the applying, even if the lipstick gets drier.
Mascara -Maybelline - Volum' Express The Falsies Waterproof Mascara

It gets the job done but it's nothing special. Seems pretty good at being waterproof. It dries very thick and is hard to remove, but most waterproof mascaras seem that way to me. It clumps pretty easily after a few coats if you're not careful. I didn't think it made my lashes look false or any longer than any other mascara I'd used. My boyfriend commented that my lashes looked really long, but that could just be because this worked better compared to my dried out mascara that needed to be replaced.

The lady at the store had to talk me in to this shade. I was buying a tube of Ruby Woo matte lipstick. She insisted I'd love this shade since I liked Ruby Woo. I was thinking, Just because I like bold red doesn't mean I'm going to like a bright pink. But my boyfriend prefers pink to red, so I bought this in addition and I wanted to try out this new formula. It is like a pure pink with a hint of lavender. It looks pretty bright, but it looks much better than I expected when you wear it. It's like a modern version of baby doll pink lips. The staying power is excellent. It even lasted through eating frozen yogurt and several hours of wear. It goes on creamy and seems to dry kind of matte. Although it seems thick, I can't really feel it when it's on which is great since I tend to mess with my lips a lot if I can feel the product. I'm completely impressed and so glad I got it.
Gels/Soaps -Dr. Bronner's - dr bronners assorted scented castille soaps

I use this soap for almost everything now: shaving, showering, shampoo, some house cleaning, washing my face, etc. I'm going to try to use it in laundry tonight. A little goes a long way with this soap. It's very strong. A lot of people say it's bad as shampoo, but I think it's great. My hair feels light and textured after using it. I only apply a little bit to the roots, so maybe that's why my hair doesn't feel dry. I also recommend adding a few drops to a cup of water and running that in your hair, repeating until your hair feels clean if you're afraid of it drying your hair out by using too much. It's good on makeup up brushes. It's great for shaving. It really cleans my skin but doesn't leave it feeling dry. I love washing my face with it. It seems to help keep my skin clear but doesn't dry it out like a toner. I don't love the scents (have lavender and tea tree). They aren't bad smelling at all, but there are better smelling soaps out there. I also kind of dislike the crazy rambling all over the bottles, but this is something many people find charming. The lavender smells like spot on lavender. The tea tree started to remind me of pine cleaner after a while. I tried it for tooth paste. Crazy, maybe but I was curious. It wasn't so bad and it worked, but the peppermint kind would obviously be a better option.
Just got it. So far it hasn't flaked on me at all. I applied quite a few coats and it doesn't clump at all. Probably the most dramatic lashes I've gotten from a mascara. Kind of pricey I guess, but it's really good. I'm pretty excited about it.
It works pretty well for lengthening. The packaging is cute. Very thick and easy to end up with raccoon eyes if you mess with your eyes at all or fall asleep with this on. It's hard to wipe off the raccoon eyes this leaves.
Tinted Moisturizer -Hard Candy - Sheer Envy Tinted Moisturizer spf15
ryden_gorey 12/15/2009 1:56:00 PM
I bought this while out and about because my skin was kind of dry and red that day and I was hoping this would help out. I also wanted to try it out since the Hard Candy line is new to Walmart. This stuff does not moisturize AT ALL. My skin stayed dry, and since it was dry and I put this over it, I could see the tiny dry flakes all over my skin. Not pretty. It's pretty much just a very light foundation with some SPF in it.
Concealers -Dermablend - Smooth Indulgence Concealer
ryden_gorey 12/9/2009 1:12:00 PM
This stuff is STRONG. I wouldn't use it for a normal concealer unless I had some serious marks or dark circles that needed to be covered because it seems so heavy to me. I bought it because I have quite a few... ahem... hickeys around my neck I needed to cover up before I came home. These are very dark, very large bruises and yes, this covered it up. You have to dab it on the area and try not thin it out with as much blending and you would use with other concealers. But it really does a good job with covering. No one has noticed the marks on my neck. It's fairly creamy/ liquid-y and doesn't look very cakey. The colors seem a bit weird and darker that normal concealers, but they still match skin tone surprisingly well. Definitely test it out before you buy it to make sure. And while it is strong, it doesn't quite last the 12 hours the packaging promises. It doesn't fade too much and will still cover for the most part but you will need the occasional touch up. *edit* This is amazing with concealing actually. If I apply a tiny dab blend it well it works for concealing less severe marks. It's so strong that it still seems heavy to me. It's pretty good stuff. I'll keep a tube around.
Just got this last night. I tried it then and today. I've been wearing it for a few hours and it's not flaking. I'm in love. It gives amazing length. I don't think I've ever had a mascara give me this much length. It kind of looks like false lashes. I love the brush too. It's small so it's easier to get into the smaller lashes and on the bottom lashes and the bristles are separated to where they comb through my lashes (most mascaras have thick brushes with close bristles that are so thick it can barely run them through my lashes) . It doesn't really give you a noticeable patent shine, but there is a very slight one in my opinion. I don't notice any smell unless you maybe hold it very close to your nose. The packaging is cute too. Absolutely no complaints unless I really tried to find one. I'll definitely buy this again.
