Eye Primer -BeneFit Cosmetics - Stay Don't Stray

I really like this product! I originally bought it because I bought some Barry M looks eye shadow in a really dark blue, and it just fell all down my face every time I went to use it. If I put this on beforehand, my eyeshadow doesn't make a mess of my newly made-up face, and it tends to stay on for much longer. Eventually, yes, I begin to get slight creases on my eyelids and my eyeshadow fades, but I have very oily eyelids and surrounding eye area, so I don't really expect any product to 100% combat that (although if anyone knows of one then please tell me!). The original colour is quite a good match for my skin colour anyway so it's handy as a concealer for red patches/dark circles. The only thing I don't like about it is the fact that the pump squirts out far too much product, no matter how lightly I press it. It's quite expensive, so I don't really like wasting the majority of what comes out, but it's just too much to use in any form unfortunately. Other than that, it's one of my favourite products and I use it most days - I always notice a difference if I forget to!

Liquid -Bobbi Brown - Long Wear Even Finish Foundation Spf 15

I used to use Bobbi Brown's Skin Foundation, which I really liked, but the make up artist at their concession persuaded me to switch to this one because, in fairness, I was looking for a less runny foundation that provides a bit more coverage and doesn't accentuate my oily skin. I REALLY wanted to like it and used it for a good 2 - 3 months before giving in. While it's the exact same colour as the skin foundation I used before (warm beige), I find that when I look at my face in bright lights, it looks very orange. Furthermore, I tend to get dry, flaky skin on my nose (which is also oily - worst of both worlds!) and this foundation really highlights them. Spending an extra 5 minutes picking all of the dry bits off my nose while trying to keep my foundation intact is not something I have time for/want to do in the mornings! I'm only 21, so I don't have any wrinkles yet, but somehow the Long Wear Even Finish Foundation manages to make my eyes look as though they are surrounded by them!? Plus. I have noticed a few dodgy red patches on my chin and around my eye and I never got them before, so I'm blaming the foundation for that too... Quite gutted to be writing such a negative review because I'm a complete Bobbi Brown advocate and I usually love their make up but this was really bad and I'm annoyed that I paid so much money for it, but will be wasting most of the bottle.

Liquid -L'Oreal - Lumi Magique Foundation

I have to agree with the other reviews from people who err towards having oily skin. I have combination skin, and used this foundation after moisturising, with a pore minimising primer (Benefit's Porefessional) and finished with some mattifying powder. I wore glasses for about 20 minutes today and afterwards, when I looked in the mirror I noticed that the foundation had rubbed away from where my glasses sit and created really unsightly streaks on my nose (by about noon). It made me really conscious of ever touching my face throughout the day and just made me skin look and feel incredibly oily. I'm going to give it more of a chance because it's currently the only foundation I have that matches my skin tone (just stopped using fake tan!) and I don't want to waste £14. I guess it might get better if I am more obsessive about reapplying powder during the day. Hopefully!
