Eye Primer -Urban Decay - Eyeshadow Primer Potion - Original (UDPP)
rated 5 of 5

I resisted this for a long, long time... I had other primers that seemed to work just fine. Why fix it if it ain't broke, right? Then I got this from a lovely MUAer. At first, it was bleh. Gals on the makeup board suggested I "swish, twirl & dip" the applicator, apply very thinly. Well, this worked. It's a fabulous primer. It really is. My only beef is the packaging. I mean, it's cute. But my first tube burst at a seam on the bottom, and primer potion was all over everything. Also, with the shape of the packaging, there's a lot of product that gets wasted because the applicator can't get to it. UD apparenly claims the tube walls are *straight* on the inside; I know first hand that this is not the case. All in all, an excellent product that I will repurchase.

Blush -L'Oreal - Blush Delice LE Ooh Baby Pink
rated 2 of 5

Hmmm... this doesn't quite behave like my other Blush Delices. It seems like this one (and its sister, Peaches & Harmony) have some sort of weird hard skin on top. When I rub a finger on this, nothing comes off the blush. And I do mean nothing. If I scrape through this hard exterior, I get a little color - it's a pretty color, too. If this didn't have the weird hard layer, it might be worth it. But for some reason I think this batch was defective.

Lip Gloss -Chanel - Giggle Glossimer
rated 4 of 5
runtagua 1/16/2006 11:45:00 PM

Giggle was the first glossimer I ever purchased. I vowed I'd never bite the bullet, but I did, and am pleased. Giggle is definitely a MLBB shade; it goes with everything, and it lasts. This pinky-nude gloss reminds me of my nipples - both in color and in amount of use they get. My only beef about Glossimers is that they tend to gloop out of the tube. Such a waste of an expensive product. Overall, a nice product that I would buy again.

Moisturizers -Kiehls - Abyssine cream
rated 5 of 5

I love this cream. I swear when I use this at night, in the morning I look better - Glowy and fresh and just better. It absorbs nicely into my normal/combo skin, and moisturizes well. I use this at night only, though; not because it's too heavy for day, its just that I want to savor it! This is definitely one that I re-purchase.

Sunscreen -Stila - Sport Sunblock SPF 30
rated 5 of 5
runtagua 11/15/2005 3:38:00 AM

This is absolutely the best sunscreen I have used. I am very fair and prone to burning. This protects my skin very well. It goes on smoothly, and dries to a nice finish, almost like a makeup primer. It is NOT greasy at all! It doesn't react badly with my foundation or TM, either. This is truly my holy grail sunscreen. It's worth every penny. And it lasts a good while, too. My last tube took well over 6 months to use up.

Tinted Moisturizer -Stila - Sheer Color Tinted Moisturizer SPF 15
rated 5 of 5
runtagua 9/23/2003 1:38:00 PM

I've tried quite a few tinted moisturizers over the last year, and now my quest can end. This is by far the best I have tried, and I'll tell you why. It's sheer and not greasy at all, light as a feather, and lasted all day. Maybe it's not very moisturizing, but I have moisturizers that do that for me. Unlike BB and TM where the moisturizer seemed to sink in, but the color just stayed on top of my face, stila sheer color seems to melt into my skin, evening out the tone enough to give me that 'my skin looks great, and I barely did a thing' look. It feels like nothing on. With only 4 colors there may be some difficulty finding a match, but this product seems very forgiving.

Lip Gloss -Stila - Lip Polish - Garnish
rated 4 of 5
runtagua 1/31/2003 5:56:00 PM

Stila has reformulated their lip polish to ba a bit stickier. Not quite as sticky as the lip glaze, but hopefully sticky enough to provide a longer lasting lip color. Garnish is the pinkest of the three from the new Cabana Girls collection. Sheer and sweet, it looks fabulous with the Strawberry Daquiri trio. It reminds me of the limited edition lipglaze from the holidays, Sugar Plum, so if you have that, you could probably do without this one.

Lip Gloss -Stila - Lip Polish - Lacquer
rated 4 of 5
runtagua 1/31/2003 5:51:00 PM

The nudist of the three new Lip Polishes from the Cabana girls collection. Sheer and slightly stickier than it's lip polish cousins due to a reformulation of the product, Laquer gives high shine and a slight melon tint. A delight with the Banana Daquiri trio or anyone looking for a nude lip look.

Lip Gloss -Stila - Lip Polish Spangle
rated 4 of 5
runtagua 1/31/2003 5:47:00 PM

Spangle is a very pretty sheer rosey nude shade. Sort of a YLBB color. Part of the Cabana Girls collection, stila had reformulated these shades to ba a bit stickier than their regular Lip Polish line. Maybe it will last a little longer on the lips? And finally, Lip Polish packaging that you can sort of *see* through, so you'll have a idea of when your'e gonna run out. Still expensive for the amount of product, but for Lip Polish lovers, sure to be a hit.

Eye Shadow -Stila - Peach Daquiri Trio
rated 5 of 5
runtagua 1/31/2003 5:39:00 PM

The Cabana Girls collection is a delight, and a welcome change from last years stila spring collection. This trio has three shades of warm peach and brown. The first is a shimmery pale peach, similar to delauney (launey) but maybe a tad more shimmery. The matte shades are a warm peach and a brown similar to the chocolate pro. Stila shadows go on silky smooth and blend beautifully.

Eye Shadow -Stila - Strawberry Daquiri Trio
rated 5 of 5
runtagua 1/31/2003 5:36:00 PM

Stila has a hit on their hands with the Cabana Collection (in my eyes, anyway). This trio is great for a rosey nude look. It consists of a shimmery pale pink, a matte rose nude, and a matte dusky plum shade. Not over-the-top, but very feminine and pretty.

Eye Shadow -Stila - Banana Daquiri Trio
rated 5 of 5
runtagua 1/31/2003 5:33:00 PM

One of the trios from the Cabana girl collection, Banana Daquiri is sure to be a hit with gals that like a nude look. There is a shimmery peach/nude, a matte nude (similar to eden, maybe more brown) and a dark brown like unsweetened chocolate. Stila shadows go on nicely, blend deliciously and last the day.

Blush -Stila - Convertible Color Gerbera
rated 5 of 5
runtagua 1/31/2003 5:29:00 PM

This is another CC from the Cabana Girls collection. Brighter and more peach than Lillium, this creamy color gives cheeks a nice corally glow. The CC blends easily and lasts the day. Very pretty.

Blush -Stila - Convertible Color Lillium
rated 5 of 5
runtagua 1/31/2003 5:26:00 PM

This is one of the new colors in the new Cabana Girls collection. It is a very pretty warm pink (reminds me of BB petal gloss). Convertible Color is what inspired me to wear blush. The formula is nice, blends well, and lasts the day. If you've never tried cream blush, these are easy and not scary at all! Highly recommended.

Moisturizers -Kiehls - Ultra Facial Moisturizer
rated 5 of 5
runtagua 1/8/2003 1:33:00 PM

This is my favorite moisturizer. It goes on light and never feels greasy. And it really works! I like it also with the spf 15; I wear that during the day. Kiehl's is my favorite skincare. I have combo skin, more on the dry side, but oily in the Tzone.
