I love these glosses. Most lip products are too drying for me, but this one makes my lips feel and look great. I love picking up the latest mini sets each season - the size is perfect for putting in a pocket or clutch and by the time it's gone I'm ready for a new color anyway. It tingles when you put it on but it's not too much. The only downside is that my husband likes the look but not the transfer. He says it stings.

Bath Treatments -LUSH - Witches' Ball bubble bar

I loved the scent and color of this bar. The floaty bits added to the whole Celtic white witch experience for me. I don't mind the twigs and berries. It's easy enough to put a strainer on the side of the tub and skim it off before you let out the bathwater. To me, that's part of the experience rather than a chore. Or just sock the thing and be done with it. I'm surprised at how many bought this and then complained about the floaties. Seriously, all you have to do is look at it and you should be able to figure that it's going to release a bunch of stuff. That's the point of it being a Witches' Ball!

Lotions/ Creams -LUSH - Vanilla Dee-lite

I got this as part of a gift package. I would not normally use anything vanilla scented because they usually have that cheap vanilla candle smell. This is way different - a very exotic scent, not sticky sweet. More like you'd imagine the vanilla orchid flower would smell. The lotion is light, perfect for warm weather. My new favorite!

Lip Treatments -Smith's Rosebud Salve - Minted Rose Lip Balm

I wanted to love this product since I see it on so many must-have lists, and the little tin is very cute and retro. But I couldn't figure out why I kept putting it in the drawer and using something else. Then I read that it contains borax. (I checked on several websites to be sure.) That explains it - borax is used in small amount as an emulsifier - it helps oil-based and water-based ingredients to mix together smoothly. But borax is also a desiccant. That means it is a drying agent. Now, there is probably only a tiny amount in the tin, but still, I don't want a drying agent in my lip moisturizer.

This conditioner didn't work for me at all. It was super heavy and hard to rinse in the shower and left my fine, highlighted hair dry and frizzy. I won't buy it again.

I didn't like this shampoo at all. It felt heavy and slimy in the shower and was hard to rinse. It left my fine, highlighted hair dry, frizzy and hard to style. It's a definite no from me.

Misc Beauty Tools -Unlisted Brand - Thermaclear Heat Enabled Acne Treatment
rated 5 of 5

Update: July 14, 2011 - Still have this, still love it! No problems at all with the product. I only have to use it occasionally since my acne has pretty much cleared up. This thing works...it's worth the investment. I started getting acne about 12 years ago and have spent a fortune on dermatologists, antibiotics, creams, lotions, cleansers and treatments. One doctor gave me a routine (two routines really, one in the am and one in the pm) that were so complicated that I had to keep a reminder of all the steps on my vanity so I could remember. It actually required me to keep ingredients in the refrigerator and mix them up twice a day! Who has time for that?! I'm happy to say that I have finally found a product that works! I got my Thermaclear on Friday and used it immediately on a new pimple on my chest. Just a tiny zap, no pain. Then I went for a big honker on my cheekbone that has been there for weeks. Yeeouch!! The pain level definitely depends on the sensitivity of the zit and the area you are treating. It wasn't enough to make me stop, more just surprising since the first one didn't hurt at all. Now, three days later, the zit on my chest never happened and the one on my cheek is nearly gone. I am using it morning and evening in addition to routine cleansing with Cetaphil and Aveeno Ultra Calming Moisturizer. In the TMI category, I am one of those obsessive compulsive types who picks and pokes my skin to "help" it get better, which we all know just makes it a lot worse, and uglier. Gross, I know, but we've all been there. Thermaclear helps me to feel like I'm doing something, so I'm much less likely to pick. If you are concerned about the cost, take it from me - I've spent thousands in dollars, time and energy searching for something or someone who can help me. Save yourself the effort and get Thermaclear. Assuming, of course, that the device is meant to work on your type of acne. Since I've just had this for a few days, in all fairness I will grant that I'm in the honeymoon phase with my Thermaclear. I'll update in a month and let you know how I like it after a longer trial. 7-11-08 - update This thing really works! I've been using it for a month now and my face is so much clearer. It works best when you catch one early, but for me it worked on older zits too. I'm very happy with the Thermaclear. It's expensive but worth every penny!
