Masks -evanhealy - Grean Tea Clay

Wow! This mask! In the past I had a bad experience with a cheap makeup product that severely clogged the pores on my chin and forehead. It was bad! I revamped my entire routine and I bought this mask because I understood that if I wanted unclogged pores I was going to have to unclog them. Well it worked, almost too well. Within a short period of time it was all coming out. Of course I wanted to give up especially because this was happening over the summer when I had five wedding to go to in a three month period. Three months were I did not go a single day without at least five new pimples. It was rough. But I stuck with it and after several months of purging I was left with clear pores and lots of red marks where they used to be. Thanks to several professional superficial chemical peels, regular use of turmeric masks, (thanks MUA!) jojoba oil, yogurt, and a little salicylic acid my skin is looking so much better. I stood up in a wedding last week, and sure I was wearing makeup,(I'd be wearing it anyway) but my skin looked fine, even glowy. In summary, Evenhealy Green Tea Clay was like tough love for my skin. It didn't come easy but the end result WAS worth it. After I ran out of this mask I bought Evenhealy French Rose Clay, much better for the day to day care of my sensitive skin and that's most likely the one I'll purchase in the future. But the Green Tea Clay did do the job it promised. And it did the job better then I could have hoped for.

Fragrances -Thierry Mugler - Angel

I'm suprised to see so many people dislike it, must be a body chemistry thing 'cuz this sent smells AWESOME on me. I get tons of compliments every time I wear it (I'm mostly told I smell delicious.) I am one to use perfume sparingly, a single spritz into the air then I walk into the mist. I think it's lovely and mysterious. I fell in love with it when I was 16 and now I'm 35 and going strong. The bottle is a work of art and can be refilled at the perfume counter saving a little money in the long run. I adore it. A signature sent for sure.

Gels/Soaps -Dr. Bronner's - Peppermint Castille Soap

This is my all purpose, go to, must have product. I use it for hand washables, counter tops to carpets, vegetables, make up brushes, etc... One squirt in the tub and the dirtiest child comes out sparkling clean without any scrubbing at all. I keep a bottle in the kitchen and one in the bathroom. If I were stranded on and island with just this product, I could get by. Only complaint it that the bottle is so covered with Dr. Bronner's propaganda that the instructions can be hard to find. Otherwise, magic soap indeed.

Sunscreen -Johnson & Johnson - Baby Sunscreen Lotion SPF 40

Thick, white, and hard to spread. But it works great and is somewhat natural. The white cast isn't a huge problem for me because I'm really pale anyways, but I can see why others wouldn't like that. This is a great sunscreen at a good price.

This is a product I never knew I needed until I tried it, now I can't live without it! I've never actually bought this, I always seem to get it as a free gift with purchase, but I would buy in a heartbeat. Perfect eyelashes every time.

Powder -Mary Kay - Mineral Powder Foundation

I hate this product! It seemed OK at first having never used any other mineral foundation to compare it to. Unknown to me it was severely clogging my pores. I've never struggled with acne before using this product. After using this for about a year my face is now covered with acne marks from the purging my skin is going through. It seemed like an inexpensive alternative to the pricier mineral foundations, but now I'm spending all kinds of money on facials and treatments to fix what this awful stuff did to my skin.
