I thought LM had the best foundation in the market before now she out did herself. This is the best. My skin looks flawless and not heavy. unfortunately she had to put it in a jar. perhaps someone out there would invent a heavy consistency pump for products like this. Keep up the good work.
I got a sample of this in a promotional offer from Zo. I could not believe it how well it exfoliated and left my skin smooth, I just wish it would come in a tube not a jar for hygene purposes. If you got $75 to spend on a scrub buy this one.
Sunscreen -Kate Somerville - Protect SPF 55 Serum Sunscreen

Excellent product no too greasy, great broad spectrum protetion, love the packaging and its not too expensive considering other products that are sold at this level. I would recommend this product to all.
O.K What was Kate Sumerville thinking when she made this product. One thing you have to learn about serums is not just the formulation but how it feels on the skin is a big factor. This product has so much silicone that when I applied it to my face it felt that I was applying baby oil on my face. Please reformulate the product. too greasy.
Makeup Brushes -Shu Uemura - Natural 18 Goat Foundation Brush

I agree with the previous reviewer, I thought Chanel and Armani had good makeup brushes but when I tried this one it took me to a different dimention in foundation application. Excellent even application. YOu only need a minimal amount of foundation to acheive results. any foundation will work. I have used it with liquid and cream foundation and it does a superb job.
As a makeup junkie, I have tried a lot of products and I can tell you that this is one of the best serums in the market, it has everything you need for antioxidant protection. in addition it containts retinol. what more can you ask for? its light weight non greasy, it easily goes under makeup. highly recommended product.
Palettes -Josie Maran Cosmetics - My Favorite Powders

This is a great palette to try her line. The eyeshadow Chianti is in this pallete and its a great great color. I would totally recommend.
Love Love Love the palette, the dark color is the best eyeliner color, great for brunettes. its too bad the company discontinued this palette and at this point it is very hard to find.
Treatments (Eye) -La Prairie - Cellular Eye Moisturizer SPF15

The only reason i bought this product because of its superb moisturizing effects and the spf, It did not seem to have any other beneft other than the sun proctection. I put this under a good antioxidant serum under my eyes for maximum benefits. The light eye cream goes on well under concealer and help reduce the appearance of lines that sometimes concealer can create.
Moisturizers -La Prairie - Anti-Aging Emulsion SPF 30

I have had oily skin for almost all my life. Now as I get older its more i the normal side. this product is not for really oily skin. Its very rich. I really liked that it comes in a pump packaging, its loaded wtih antioxidants, and of course the spf of 30, its an all in one product. The only downside is the fragrance, LP tends to put fragrance in all their products. Some people might be allergic, My personal experience with the product is that it goes well under foundation and its a great day time moisturizer.
I would like to introduce to Makeupalley, Omorovicza, Its a brand from Hungary that its being introduced to the U.S. Market. I went to Neiman Marcus Beauty Event, the founder of the company was there, He was doing facials. To be honest with you this is one of the best mud masks I have used. If you look at my other reviews of mud masks, i am very sensitive and picky, After trying Chantecailles mud mask, which is very good, It think this one is a lot better due to its gentleness. the ingredients are very basic and natural. This is a line that i see that would have a cult following in the future. As of today you can only buy it through Neiman Marcus.
Masks -Paula's Choice - Skin Balancing Carbon Mask

Ok, Paula, really did her research in this product so I can tell. The ingredients seem simple enough, and they follow her quest for research in skin care. At the same time. the texture of the product and consistency was not that great. Its hard to apply, As soon as I applied the product, it irritated my skin, I did not feel that it absorbed any oil. I did not feel that it made a difference in my skin. I have tried other clay masks that do a better a job. I like the ones that absorb oil but not too much, Chantecaille has an excellent one. Yes its pricey but its irritated my skin less, My skin felt wonderful after I applied, it. I dont know the exact science to Paula's Choice skin care. There are some products that are excellent, Like her exfoliators, but some other products really show that she cut corners on. There is something that Paula's Choice always forgets, Yes a product might work on someone but if it does not feel good or smell good on the skin, the consumer wont buy it again.
Makeup Brushes -Paula's Choice - Precision Liner Brush

Ok this is a very good example of what you get for the money. The brush looks cheap. Its made in china. It does the job. no doubt. but its too soft to pick up dark eyeshadow. now for cream eyeliner it worked. not too bad. Now if you are willing to spend the money. The Bobbi Brown brush is a lot better. Also M.A.C. has en excellent brush thats very good quality. I was really disspointed when i got this home. I am not returning it because its too much of a hassle. Experiences like this make me doubt Paula, If she thinks this brush is better than her competition, then she is mistaken.
The only reason i would sign up for the Beautypedia again is because its an excellent refference and Paula does give some good advice most of the time. At the same time, She did not include some of the lines that I would have liked to see reviewed. She missed Chantecaille and Amore Pacific for example. So I was disappointed to have paid for the Beautypedia because of that. I decided to write the company to please write the reviews of lines that were missing. They have not written me back. I have also written to them about backing their claims on decompostion of antioxidants and packaging. They again did not write me back. Paula still insists in downgrading a product due to its packaging, thats fine, but she is the only reviewer in the cosmetics industry that says that an open container deactivates the antioxidants in a product. After doing a Pubmed research I found that only, vitamin C decomposis and you need a lot of it to act like an antioxidant. I wish she would site her sources from medical journals in her site. Most of her sources are outdated and narrow minded. Now I own some of Paulas products, I think her exfoliators are the best, and some other specialty products. But her makeup line stinks, What was she thinking? I mean once you try Laura Mercier or even Chanel, you dont go back to cheapo lines. its a given. She thinks that her products are the best. Now most of her reviews i get the feeling that she does not even try the products. She just looks at the ingredients. That to me is not reseach thats just bitterness towards an industry she does not like. The bottom line Beautypedia is great for the average consumer, but its not a complete reference and its biased.
Ok this is probably one of the most expensive powder foundations in the market. YOu dont get very much in the packaging, and you dont have that many colors to choose from. Now the positive is that it is one of the best quality ones. It does not look cakey it looks natural. I have used, Studio Fix by Mac, Laura Mercier's powder foundation, Chanels, Armani, and last but not least Nars, and this is the one that looks most natural. If you dont mind paying the price and can find the right color for you then you should not be disappointed.
