Liquid -Make Up For Ever - Mat Velvet PLUS Matifying Foundation

I was really excited to try this product because of all the good things I have heard/read about it, and Make Up For Ever in general. I was totes let down though. It WAY accentuates the dry patches on my cheeks, and didn't mattify my T-zone at all. The only good thing about it was that shade 20 was perfect, and I really liked the packaging. I really need that full coverage look for my post-acne marks, but I found the coverage was just OK...I don't know WHY I even try to stray from my Estee Lauder DW. My mom even commented on how crappy my face looked compared to when I wear DW. That is and probably will always be my favorite.
Cleansers -Clean & Clear - Makeup Dissolving Foaming Cleanser

I actually use to use a cleanser very similar to this except it was in a blue bottle instead of purple. I am almost positive it's the same product...but I am still able to find this product on Amazon.com. I was able to get a 3 pack for about $25. I love this cleanser a lot. It's really too bad it's not avaliable in stores anymore. It takes off my make up (face, eyes, lips, everything) wonderfully, and does not dry or irritate my skin at all. This is the only cleanser that I've been using at night (along with adapalene gel) for awhile now and I think my skin is finally thanking me for it.
Moisturizers -First Aid Beauty - Ultra Repair Cream

I was really excited to try this product after reading all the hype, and I am liking it so far. I got the jar of it at Sephora for $28 about 2 almost 3 months ago and am half way through it already. I just use a very small amount on my face in the mornings and I use it ALOT for my dry winter hands. I think I love it most for that, I am a little on the I think it's a bit too much for my face side. I think I want to try the Daily Moisturizer next, something tells me I'll love that. I do love how this stuff is fragrance free and has no parabens. And the texture is amazing! If I would repurchase, I would def. get the stuff in the tube rather than the jar. Overall, good buy!
I would have to agree with previous comments about this stuff smelling, EXACTLY, like dish soap! That wouldn't of bothered me anyways if it wouldn't have dried my skin out :( I do use it to clean my brushes off now though, and it does a great job at doing that.
I actually really like this product considering haha what it is. I find personally that this sets my makeup very nicely, and keeps my face looking moisturized and dewy. I recently tried MAC fix + spray and thought that it made my face very oily right when I had applied it. My skin is very sensitive so I think the fact that the Evian spray is just water it doesn't have any ingredients to irritate it! I find the price very outrageous but I continue to buy! I also really like how it mists out as you press it down too.
I had a horrible time with this product about a year or so ago. The very second I put it on my face it stung like crazy to the point where I just had to wash it off right away. My face was really red and irritated :/ Didn't give it another chance. Not for me!! But...my mom ended up giving it a try (along with the CeraVe cream which I actually use sometimes) and she loves it. It's all she uses now I guess and her skin has been looking nice so...it all depends on your skin!
Cleansers -Neutrogena - All-In-One Makeup Removing Cleansing Wipes

About 3 years ago I would not use any other product on my face at night but these and sometimes a moisturizer. I didn't need the extra products that I need (or think I need) now. I wish they had more product on each wipe and sometimes I feel like 1 is just not enough. I think they take eye make up off pretty good, but not as good as just a regular eye remover in a bottle would in my opinion. And now since I've discovered the Clarisonic I don't feel they take face makeup off as much as it should be taken off. They last atleast 4 weeks depending on how many you use and their just really convenient to use on those lazy nights. :) I don't use them everynight but I almost always have a pack laying around in my room.
Moisturizers -Clinique - Moisture Surge Extended Thirst Relief
rrrrbravo 11/11/2011 12:06:00 AM
I find this product to be waaaaaay too sticky. Instead of looking smooth and hydrated my face looks sticky and irritated after I apply to my skin, especially when I use as a "5 minute moisture mask." I always use it and hate it and then like 3 months later I'll think..hmm..maybe I should give it another try (ex, like just 10 minutes ago) and I always end up wishing I hadn't. Had to wash it off as I was unable to apply any of my other products from the stickiness!! Ummmm....I'm starting to hate Clinique products (skin care that is, their make up is nice) as I have had nothing but bad experiences.
Liquid -Lancome - Teint Idole ULTRA [DISCONTINUED]

This foundation is just ok for how expensive it is. I was told that this is a full-coverage foundation and I don't think it is at all. It doesn't break me out which is it's best quality but I do end up really shiny after an hour and it makes my dry patches and acne bumps stick out like crazy. I do like how it doesn't set too quickly and it is easy to apply it evenly. I found the color I was given (Ivorie 2) is too orange for my skin tone too. The search continues...
Skincare - Face -Clinique - Acne Solutions Line (all products)

I bought this system twice, and stopped mid way through the second batch. This worked good for awhile. My skin was the clearest I had seen it for a long time, but all of a sudden I noticed it wasn't doing anything anymore, and pretty much all my old pimples that had disppeared were back. By the time I was done with the first set of these products my face was really dry and flaky, but atleast my skin was clear so I bought it again. If you have reallllly oily skin I bet these would work good, but not for my combo dry/oily skin. I think it's too much salicylic acid (in the cleanser and toner) to use, especially twice a day. I won't repurchase a third time.
Toners -Boscia - Clear Complexion Tonic with Botanical Blast
rrrrbravo 10/29/2011 2:04:00 AM
I'm not sure how I feel about this stuff. I have purchased the Clear Complexion kit twice now and I wish I hadn't. If you have I'd say mild to moderate acne the treatment won't do much, and the moisturizer is sticky and smells like hair dye. Too bad it took me two purchases to realize this. Anyways, I have been reusing the cleasner and this tonic. I bought the kit a week ago and I'm already half way through this tonic. It is very refreshing, especially after taking off a clay mask. It does not make my face burn or sting like I've experienced with some toners. I don't like the idea of spraying tonic/toner on your face. I don't feel it gets put on evenly or something so I just use a cottonround and wipe it on. Some nights I don't even use a toner and I don't notice a difference from when I do use this and do not. On one hand it's very refreshing and doesn't burn or sting my face. But on the other hand I don't see any noticable difference, and I don't feel it gets any left over make up off. And considering a full size is $19 I don't think I would purchase.
Cleansers -Boscia - MakeUp-BreakUp Cool Cleansing Oil
rrrrbravo 10/25/2011 3:22:00 PM
I've never used any other make up oils other than this one so I cannot compare but this melts all my makeup right off. I still have Neutrogena eye make up remover left so I'm going to use it up until it's gone but I don't really need extra eye makeup remover with this product. It feels very nice massaging it on a face full of makeup after a long day. I don't feel it irriates my acne issue either, which is a plus. The only time I feel the "cooling" effect though is if I use it with my clarisonic. Overall it does what it's suppose to do.
Ehh I've changed my mind about this product. For the first few weeks I thought I was inlove but have discovered that sulfur doesn't do much for my acne. It dries my face wayyy more than it helps any pimples. It never washed off fully either. I smelt like sulfur all night too my boyfriend hated it. I'll use what's left just so I don't waste but will not be repurchasing! I think I've found something better but my mouth is shut until I have used it enough times to really make sure! :)
Cleansers -DERMAdoctor - Ain't Misbehavin' cleanser
rrrrbravo 10/14/2011 12:42:00 PM
I've only used this cleanser a few times so I can't quite say if it's done anything significant to my acne but it does irritate my face a lot. My face stings and burns while it's on and is really RED when I wash this off. I don't like how it dosn't foam or how to you have to use it on dry skin. I feel like you really have to rub it in hard for it to be effective, which made some pimples break open. I was really excited to use this when an Ulta SA recommened it to me and said it would work wonders on my skin. She said to use it morning and night??! I was just going to use it nightly but now I doubt even that..probably like twice a week. Debating if I should just return it. The lady at Ulta said the key ingredient was the glycolic acid. Anyone know any products similar to this?? (with glycolic and salicylic acid) Edit: Returned. It irritated my face waaaaaay too much.
I've never broken out so badly in my life. Serio. After all the good reviews I've heard about this product I really wasn't expecting these kind of results, especially since the lady at Ulta said that this would work on all types of pimples. I gave this product 4 nights until I finally said this is enough I can't put this on my skin anymore. I can't say if this does anything for cystic acne because I didn't give it enough time but even if it did it would not be worth what it did to the rest of my skin. I'll be recovering from this for awhile. :'(
