Cleansers -DERMAdoctor - Wrinkle Revenge Glycolic Acid Facial Cleanser

I bought this with the advice of a Sephora SA who'd just completely won me over with Dermadoctor's Calm, Cool, and Corrected cream for my rosacea. I was super skeptical, because I was told glycolic acid is a big no no for rosacea, but I figured I'd give it a whirl since my current (and many, many past) skin care routine was causing such burning and redness. Well, I tried the cleanser out and was a little put off by the directions to apply to a dry face. It's a little difficult to wash off, but a gentle washcloth helps it along. Aside from that, I'm really pleased. It causes a tiny bit of stingy, but quickly goes away after the CCC, and my tiny rosacea bumps have decreased substantially. Even better, my skin never feels tight or dry after washing, just clean. I love the creamy texture, esp. since my skin does not fare well with suds.

Moisturizers -DERMAdoctor - Calm Cool & Corrected

I've tried everything for my rosacea: Daniello, Origins, Clinique, Dermalogica, Rosacea Care, Pevonia.........and nothing worked. Well, some worked for a bit, then stopped. A few products helped with the redness and burning, but nothing helped with those damn bumps! And somewhere along the line, my skin when from super dry to oily, depending on what I was using. After a particularly awful stint of looking like a tomato and feeling like my face was on fire, I went to Sephora in search of anything that might help. The SA, who supposedly had rosacea himself, directed me immediately to his own skin care routine: Dermadoctor. I was pretty skeptical about this product, as it's gotten pretty mixed reviews. However, I was desperate! He applied some to my cheek, and for the first time in weeks the burning ceased. I immediately amazed, and told him I'd take it, despite the risky $85 price tag. Well, we're going on day 4 and I have no burning, decreased redness, and FINALLY decreased bumps! I'm experiencing no dryness or irritation, nor oilliness. I'm in love! I only hope the amazingness of this product will outlast the honeymoon period. :) I'll keep you posted! Also, the SA recommended Wrinkle Revenge 1 as a cleanser. I was SUPER skeptical, as I was told glycolic acid is a big no no for my skin type. But, having been suckered in by the immediate effects of CCC, I went for it. The two products work great together!
